Windows XP all da way! Thats what I have, never had anything else, other than Windows, so I wouldn\'t know.

I hate computers, but only because they all seem to hate me.

I guess I\'m a hypocrite though, because not only am I on the computer now, but I\'m planning on going into computers as a career! :rolleyes:

Hmmm..I have 6 computers now, 3 are factory made and the other three are abunch of parts put together.

(I am bored) Stats

1980 Tandy - Factory made - Windows 3.0
1992 486 - Put together - Windows 3.1
1994 Pentium 75 - Factory - Windows 95 (upgraded to 98 later on)
1998 Aptiva - Factory- Windows 98SE
2000 Pentium 500 - Put together- Windows 98SE
???? Pentium ? - Put together - Windows 98

The Tandy and 486 are actually DOS based, Windows is secondary and only runs when you type \'win\' on the command line! Gasp!

The 75 I\'ve never used, I only fix errors on it. It recently had an upgrade to a 10 gig harddrive, but the harddrive was totally fucked up so we needed yet another. It works fine now though.

The Aptiva did fine for the most part, but got alot of blue screens from videocard problems. And the soundcard didn\'t like working in DOS.

The 500 (one I use mainly) has an odd shutoff problem when sounds play. It just resets itself for no reason when a sound is playing, no matter when. Everything else works fine, except for the ocassional lockups and blue screens.

The newest computer is my sibling\'s, and I haven\'t used it much. I don\'t know much about it, just that I spent a few days trying to get the soundcard to work in DOS, which I was successful at.

I prefer the ones that aren\'t factory made.. IBM computers are hard to take apart, making it hard to replace soundcards and all. Dell\'s are crap, and don\'t get me started on HP\'s.

Bah, Dells aren\'t THAT bad. They\'re good if you need a decent computer to get some work done. And my Dell hasn\'t given me any problems...yet...anyway, I must admit that HP are bad...Now I hope that I\'ll get that invitation

Computers. What can I say about computers? What can\'t I say about computers? I wouldn\'t be able to do alot of things. I could go very deep with this, but I am not Kei or a person that calls themself a philosopher. So I should say something that sounds like myself. So...

They\'re cool.

Not a gateway, they screwed me over. I can\'t put PCI cards in the slots unless I cut a metal rod on the card or buy gateway\'s special OCI cards. Not dell, they screwed my dad over. He was supposed to get a fifty dollar rebate on his computer, he sent it in and he was never given his rebate. I puke on them both:sick:. Also notice the non-capitalization of their names, out of disrespect.

Not Compaq, they screwed me over...twice!

I dont like buying Brand name computers, i much prefer getting them custom built by a local Computer Technician, so if anything goes wrong with it you can hunt him/her down and make them fix it.
