Painter does have layers of sorts...it\'s when you make the canvas wet or not, I think..it resembles layers.
Quote:
Painter Classic works with layers that you can place on top of each other. You always start off with a Canvas layer when you open a new canvas. If you use a Watercolor Brush or the Liquid Ink Pen, you automatically get a new Watercolor or Liquid Ink layer added. If you look at the Layers palette, you can see that the Watercolor layer is selected. If I select the Canvas layer, I can use my pencils, chalk, etc. on that layer. If I select the Watercolor layer, I can only use the Watercolors. (To erase Watercolors, you need to use the Eraser Dry watercolor brush.) To flatten all your layers into one Canvas layer, select the little paper icon with the plus sign at the bottom of the Layers palette, and select Drop.
Quick Google search found that..so Painter does have layers..
And you didn\'t mess up her topic really. People can still post about her art..and the discussion we\'re having is keeping it bumped up to the top, so she\'s really not losing out on anything.
