Greetings; it\'s been a considerable amount of time since I\'ve posted a topic.

As you may assume after glancing at the topic title, I am curious as to how many of you have played the wonderful games Advance Wars 1 or 2.
Seemingly, the game is quite deep, with much replay value and play levels to it.
As well, it was developed by the producers of Fire Emblem-- Intelligent Systems. If you enjoyed said game, then I am sure you will have an excellent time with this.
Feel free to discuss or share various strategies and personal tactical styles you\'ve developed.

Man i love this game, it rocks. you get to custmizee your own maps too. say, zaleon, who is your fave caracter? mine is um, whats-his-face, oh yeah, kanbie. they should have an online version of AW2 BHR
so that all owners of the game can battle each other and brag about each others startegies.
now i am hungry:miam:

This game is awesome, and i have never lost a match, not to the Computer or a Human, Just let me play as either Max or Grit and most people dont even make i to the 7th turn.

Also, both of the games are missing 1 element, the Player needs to be in the action, but once the New Advance Wars game comes out (its for the GC) that will all change:D


Also, this is just a little quiz, how long did it take any of you to beat Sturm in AW1, it took me roughly 12 Days. In AW2 it took me a little bit longer, about 1-2 days longer really

One last thing,whats your rank on AW1 im a Gold Dragon, and have been to every mission in story mode (normal and secret)

I own both games, and play them occasionally. I\'m having trouble beating a few of the Yellow Comet areas though. I think the best character in that game is probably either Sami, Grit, Kanbei, or Sensei. Sami\'s superpower lets me capture bases in one turn, so I just attack blindly with infantry on the cities, then capture when it\'s all built up. I won\'t go into the other strategies. I hope they add different types of units in future games, I\'m sorta bored with Medium Tanks, though the Neo Tanks rock! I want one of those to drive to work.:cool::lol:

I agree, with him, a bomber can take out a Neotank in one blast!!!!Green Earth rules above all!!!!:lol::lol::lol:
