Either the son of an important guy of Capcom was a big fan of Django, and this was a favor done to him; or the son of the guy who made Django was a huge fan of Battle Network, and it was done as a favor to him.

Well, I don\'t know how Django came to be in Megaman games, but I do know where the idea was ported from: the game is (in english) Boktai: the Sun is in Your Hands, or something to that effect. it reads infrared rays, basically the sun, and when you put the game in the sun, it charges your gun del sol in the game, allowing you to defeat your enemy the Vampire, who sleeps in the coffin deep inside the castle. your mission is to use your Gun del Sol to attack the baddies, and drag the coffin into the sunlight to destroy Dracky. the dragging of the coffin on Megaman\'s part was an animation take from the Boktai game. I got all this from Megaman\'s summary and the preview on G4TechTv\'s show, Cinematech.

That sounds an awful lot like \"the golden sun, the lost age\" with the solar detector and all. As well as the vampires. Oh well, only Capcom knows.

ATTENTION ALL! WOOP WOOP! As many people have already said, Django is from Boktai:The Sun is in Your Hand. The main enemy is not that LAMEBRAIN Dracky, but he is the Count. Those wusses at CoA won\'t let kids get exposed to things like The Lord of Vampires, or dying. Can\'t believe them...If you want to talk about Boktai, come to the Boktai topic in Other Games. It\'s better than spamming the MMBNS board.

I dunno the story, but I think the Cameo was cool. At first, I though all those stories in Castillio wereJapanese Stories and Myths...What the hell is with the name \"WZ Monkey\" anyway? Is that from some other kinked up game? I mean, WZ Monkey? Alright, I\'ll shut up.

If you write something in Japanese, it takes less space than writing it in English.

THe original name had to be shortened to Wz Monkey. I can only guess it means Wizard Monkey.
