If your inbox is empty, and you didn\'t create any extra folders to store messages, the wasted space probably comes from your trash folder. Try to empty it, then your percentage of usage will go down.

Hmm... I\'m not 100% familiar with Hotmail since I don\'t use it very often. Is there an option somewhere to upload files to your account (files to be attached later)? If so, just delete those files. If not, maybe you could try contacting Hotmail\'s support team...
