I got an english one at Walmart but the batterie died on the second day for some reason, I bought a figure and it came with high cannon. Too bad I can\'t use it until I get a batterie.

im not gonna bother buying one for 2 reasons,
1. none of my friends are gettin one, so i wont be able to battle anyone
2. becuz im savin my money early on for bn 4.5, bn5, and the ds, w/ a couple games

otherwise id buy them, though i havent seen them in any stores yet.

{1}How you modify a chip is you open the chip (do not touch the gold bars until you have it open)once it is open it should look somthing like this.( this is a cannon)

{2}cut all connectors unless you need them for the chip your modifying.

{3}draw fake connectors with a number two pencile, it should be a fine point so it can fillthe hole space between the gold bar(small) and the long gold bar!


The fake connerters for Bass another are 1, and 10

The fake connectors for Bass are 2,3,4,5,6,7,10

*NOTE* for the bass chip it might come up as some thing else if that happens just push the hole chip fowards.

I rapped the Chip in clear tap and wrote on the tape with a pemant marker

Note#2 You can modify any chip, It does not have to be the chips that I used!!!!

Note#3 Knives will be easer to open the chip with but please be careful I stabbed myself three times:cry:....it hurt:cry:

You could use a small screwdriver to open it up as well.
You know that little hole in the upper left corner? Just put the screwdriver in and push outwards, isn\'t the conept of using leverage fun? This opens it up with you getting hurt, AND it makes the chip look nicer even though you took it aprat.
You can also make the Bass chip from a recov 10 as well.

Have you found a web site that will sell English or Japanese Booster packs, besides ebay.

Slide the bottom portion of the PET to open up the cover.
You can remove the screen on the top portion of the PET to make it easier to Slot-In battlechips when fighting.
When Battery dies replace with a CR2032 type battery.

Starting your Game
Wehn you remove the plastic seperator from the back of the PEt where the batteries are located the game will start. Rockmans face will appear and he will ask you to set the time., so pressing up or down on the D-Pad will change that numbers time once you\'re done press the Right button to exit out of this mode.

Game options
When you press the right button a screen will show up that says, \"Rockman Status\", press Right on the D-Pad to go to \"Option\", press it once more adn you will got to \"Vs. Mode\".
Press Right button on the \"Rockman Status\" Will bring up his current stats.
A screen should show up that looks like this.
Level
EXP
CP

Level is how stong your Rockman is.
EXP is his current amount of expiernce points, you attain EXP through Battle, the next section will cover this
CP is Chip points, Each chip has a diffenrt amount, depending on its strength, you start off with 3 but it will gradually increase. More will be covered on this in the \"Battle\" Section
Press right once more on the D-Pad to bring up the \"Walk\" and Battle Meters. The Screen should look like this

Kaiwaku

S.kuria is the number of battles won, once you fill it up to the end of the screen, you will enter \"tounament mode \" Where you fight Navis.
Kaiwakuis your \"Walking\" meter, this indicates how much longer it will be till you fight a virus, once the guage is filled up it will be time to Battle!
Pressing right on the D-Pad againb will bring up your Vs. mode stats.
The Screen should like this.

Press Right on the D-Pad yet Again, and it will bring up your HP and atk stats. The screen should like this

AT
HP is you Rockmans current amount of health, the higher it is the better as you can with stand more attacks
AT, is Buster strenght should you run out of CP, you can use this to battle.

Battle
In order to encounter a virus, you must shake your PET. Your arm may get sore after awhile so give it a rest after a while for a minute or two.
Once you\'ve shaken it enough the PET will make and light up, you have encountered a virus!
Press the right button to continue.
It will show a Plug-In animation, then a picture of the virsu will appear press Right button to continure.
A couple of Katakana characters will show up saying...
\"Battle Start!\"
Rockmans emblem will show up and it will begin flashing press the right button to stop it, should it stop on the left you go first! However should it land on the Right side...your oppnent gets the jump on you!
Your Turn
When it\'s your turn, a menu will pop up saying, Slot-In, this means, start putting those battlechips to use!
Wehn you put a chip in, its stats will appear. It will look like this.

Each Chips CP and AT varies
Press Right on the D-Pad to look at Elelment, if it\'s a dot, its\" no element\"
Press right on the D-Pad again to see its attack range.

Once you\'ve seen it\'s abilities press right button and Rockman will ask you if it\'s ok to use the chip select \"Yes\" or No\"
Selecting No will return you to the \"Slot-In\" Menu.
Selcting \"Yes\" will begin the battle.
Use the D-Pad to aim and press the right button to attack, note, some attacks cannot be moved
You will only have a limited amount of time so make you attack count!
Also, if that didn\'t make things stressful, your opponent will be moving as well!After you have attacked a animation will begin Rockman attacking, and indicating a miss or hit, should you happen to hit your opponent, it will show the amount of HP that is deducted from their totalin the meter at the bottom of the screen.
Opponents Turn
Pray. thats all you can do. Pray, that they miss you.
The opponent will get an animation of their attack and then the next screen will indicate a\"Hit\" or a \"Miss\", if you\'re \"Hit\" it will show Rockman in pain and the screen flashes, if it \"Misses\" Rockman will be smiling.
After a certain amount of turns the battle will end, if you are both alive the one with the less amount of HP loses.
After, a stats screen will show up indicating, the amount EXP won and your Level. If you\'re lucky you will recieve an item.
Wehn battling elelments come into play as well should you do an attack that your opponent is weaker against your attacks damge will be increased! Here are the elelments weakness and strength chart
Fire > Wood
Wood > Elec
Elec > Water
Water > Fire
So Choose your attacks carefully!
If you lose, you\'re Arm will be VERY sore, becasue you\'ll need to shake it until the Kaiwaku bar fills up.
Other
When you obtain an item from battle, you can use by pressing Right two times, a screen will show up with the item you won press right once more and Rockman will ask you if you want to use it or not.

Hook up the two PETs with the cable, then go to Vs. Mode and selcet it at the same time, to see how to battle refer to the \"Battle\" section.

Hehehe I asked some one that too, the \"password thing\" is a numberman code for BN 4, it doesn’t matter what version you have because the \"password thingy\" works in both games o_0

In mmbn 4 the numberman trader is what you put the codes in to...If you don\'t have any on your screan yet you just need to progress farther, the first and only one I got so far was after gutsman/4th tourny
