Hmm...this is right on the very edge of toppling into a help topic, but so long as this is purely strategies, I think you\'re okay. So, do you want my strategies for Blue Moon, or were you going to give out the strategies for others? Eh, I might as well get you started:
ShademanSP (you cant find alpha or beta versions of him)
The easiest way to beat ShadeMan that I\'ve used so far is a fairly complicated system of moves. first, if you don\'t have them already, go and get SpeedMAX and ChargeMAX for the NaviCust. You\'ll need these to work effectively. Next, go out and find some Metagel chips, via in-battle GMDs, or possibly by using untrap in the Undernet (unconfirmed). then, go find as many heatlines and wood powders as your folder will allow, but leave room for chips such as KendoMan, ProtoMan, and (if you\'re not getting the GMD) SparkMan that stand a good chance of hitting the bats. finally, stuff the 3 gunsol chips somewhere in there along with a recovery or 2 and some barriers, as a back-up.
Now you\'re ready to face ShadeManSP, after completing the side-quest of course. when you run into him, he\'ll have a GMD in the upper-righthand corner. You can get this if you want, but LaserMan has the same thing, so consider just ignoring it\'s tiny explosion while you fight.
grab whichever chips are on hand, those often being the FlameLine and WoodPowder chips. when you start the battle, imediately charge up, move to the back, and wait for Batsy there to appear on your side of the field. Now, blast him with your buster! this should seperate him into four bats. Now the chips: move forward one space, then use just one on him, unless for some reason you have a cannon or something. But you shouldn\'t if you formated your folder right. anywho, ShadeMan will poof back to your side, now with a small chunk of his HP missing. this time, he should fire bats at you when he pauses. The best way to prevent him getting in the way of dodging the bats would be to hit him with another charge shot. no chips, just dodge the bats. continue this process, taking a small chunk of his HP away over time. What\'s that? Too slow for you? well, how about a Gunsol attack? just use the barrier chip at the very end of your turn, go to the chip screen, pick your light gun, and wait for him to screech at you again, coming into perfect position as he does so. Depending on how long you hold it, you could remove a good couple 100\'s of HP in one shot!
Finally, some things to watch out for: just because you used invis, doesn\'t mean that the screech attack can\'t hurt you! don\'t fill up the NaviCust with useless attack stuff, put in a bugstop and a whole bunch of Custom+1s along with Undershirt and possibly Collect. You want the chip, right? then put collect in the navicust!!! Finally, do your best to never be hit by the screech attack, it will paralyze or confuse you, do around 200 damage, and set you up for an incoming salvo of bats.
Hope that helped! I\'ll be back here soon, assuming this doesn\'t get closed, to post other strategies, too.
well... uhh, thanks i guess, and yeah since it\'s just posting stategies it should be allowed, but maybe next time could it not be so long please.

Let\'s see....here\'s one for NumberMan (the Navi who\'s five times stronger than the last time in MMBN1...) :
For one thing, make sure you have the Reflect program....you\'ll need it. And then, last long enough to use PitHockey against him.
Duuuuuude....where's my keys?

*shakes head* No, no. One of the help topics are for strategies. People can also get their info from GameFAQs.
