I was cleaning out my basement and I found this old box. I opened it and I found the oldest video game system out there! Atari! I never knew I had that! I\'ve been playing Pacman all day:lol:

I apologize for my absence, however, it will be a bit longer. Those who wish to contact me, I have updated my email and AIM info. Thanks.

Now I bet that makes you wonder what else is down there in your basement, huh?

I had a converter for my Sega Master System to let me play Atari and Japanese Sega games. Sad that I got rid of my system (not the converter however); I want to play Phantasy Star 1, Pitfall, and Zillion.

For your information, the very first Donkey Kong game, for the arcade, came out in 1981.

I never owned an Atari before... My parents weren\'t too strong on electronic equipment back then, so I began with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1987. I did played a couple of Atari games when I was young, but not much... I wished I had an occasion to try that once again ;)

We still have an Atari 2600. Just not the little converter box thingy..so we can\'t play it. =(

Umm..Gorf, Berserk, Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, Demons & Diamonds, Tron, Defender, Yar\'s Revenge, Centipede, lots more, but I can\'t remember em right now.

It\'s funny though...my parents used to pay about 50 bucks a pop for those games.. Actually started their money woes... 50 dollars for Atari games... How time flies.

Ah, the Atari. I actually picked that up after I purchased the NES and the SNES (back in the early to mid 1990\'s).

Unfortunately, the only thing I can remember playing for this ancient system is Pong, which is one of the greatest games from back in the day.

*begins to sing the \"15-9\" song...*

I started with my brother\'s coleco system, sorry I was born in 1980. Remember Popeye? Now that was the day Nintendo took over Coleco and became a publisher, Not some 3rd party developer whome was second command to Coleco..

Oh, I had an Atari! After losing my NES, my parents got me one at a yard sale. I had Pitfall, E.T., Donkey Kong, PacMan, and this funky RPG thing.

We\'ve still got an Atari here as well. We don\'t have many games, but what we do have are fun, like ET and Missile Command. It\'s a shame it kicked the bucket, though I\'m sure it can be fixed somehow.

Hey Dr.Cossack, does the name \"Telestar\" ring a bell? I\'m trying to figure out if that system or atari is the oldest, because I have a Telestar at home...

Telestar? It\'s the first time I hear that name... As I said before, I started with the NES, so everything before that is kind of blurry in my mind.

I want an Atari...How many colors per sprite could it handle?

So I'm not going to have anything spectacular in my signature.
