it\'s hard to choose isn\'t it? But overall, I\'d say Red Sun is a bit better than Blue Moon but not by a lot.
Red sun\'s Search Soul\'s \"Shuffle\" ability is great but not as good as Number Souls.
Shuffle is an ability gained when you use Search Soul, it allows you to go through you folder 5 chips at a time but it\'s random.
Wind Soul is good because it goes great with lifesword folders, When you are Wind Soul it creates a Fan effect, same as the Fan chip, it even uses a northwind when you unison! However it\'s also good because it can add 10 damage to a wind chip, specifically Tornado, if you use a desertring chip it paralyzes the enenmy and it can also double the damage of a tornado chip a Single tornado chip when you are wind soul can do 480 damage!
Guts soul can be a big help also if you use the Holydrm chip with it.
So overall I\'d say red sun\'s better.

Well, overall, i\'d say it\'s mostly preference. I\'ve never tried Red Sun, so I\'ll just list some advantages of Blue Moon souls.

Aqua Soul: Hmm... It\'s easy to activate. WideShot chips match well with many other codes, and the PA can be fun. Also, the ability to avoid slipping on ice is very useful when fighting opponents who recieve no panel effect and therefore can stay in the middle row in arenas with full ice.

Wood Soul: Well, I don\'t use it much, so i can\'t say much about it. However, WhiteWebs are decently easy to use (and available in *!), so they serve as easy sacrifices. Also, regaining on grass is always a plus.

Metal Soul: Ah, the advantages of a break-buster and a 150 charge attack. AirHocks serve as pretty good sacrifices. Remember not to activate it in a battle with a quick opponent or one who is constantly in the back row. This can be troublesome with the charge attack. But hey, you can bring those BoyBombers and Gaias down to their knees!

NumberSoul: I find that it is hard to find sacrifices for NumberSoul. It may be wise to use chips which hit more than once with the NumberSoul strategy. I\'d imagine vulcan\'s work pretty well. Furthermore, selecting 10 chips is always an advantage.:D

ProtoSoul: Sword chips are very easy to fit into any folder (S\'s are simple). Furthermore, the charge attack is quite useful with such a large abundance of sword chips to choose from. Areagrabs may be worthwhile chips to include.I don\'t use the shield much, but hey, it\'s there too!

JunkSoul: Well, if you put your time into searching, there are many ornament type chips. However, many have untrustworthy codes. The recycled chips are probably a plus too. I can\'t imagine the poltergeist charge being too effective, but wouldn\'t it be fun?:D

Er, anyways, that\'s my take on em.

I would have to say that blue moon\'s souls are better than red sun\'s.
Metalman\'s soul can pierce through armor(boomers).
Aqua has a high charge rate.
Proto makes swords awesome, along with the left+B for a shield.
Number\'s for the 10 chips.(who doesn\'t like more chips?)
Woodsoul makes wood chips do TREMENDOUS damage when followed by decient chips.
Junk make past chips usable again.(personally have not aquired yet, just reading from the book):D

Well Skulltorture, you got your answers but you should have posted this question in one pre-existing topic or you could have checked GameFAQs to see what styles were better...
