of course you dont like that we\'re at war, nobody does, and neither do i:D.....and what would you think, or be thinking about if you saw someone you knew for 11 years fall out of a building, 70 stories up and then go *SPLAT* it would be pretty heartbreaking, or just scar you for life:cry:

This is slightly ironic, I just returned from my cousins wedding, wich was at 9/11. It actually seemes that marrying close to this date has been in my fammely for years. 8/11 are my pairents wedding day, 9/11 has allready been mentioned, and my aunt married 10/11.

This of course, makes this a really mixed ocation for me, but at least 9/11 won\'t just have to symbolize death...

what sux is that my teacher was getting married on 9/11, and her husband was on active duty, and once the plane hit, it was right before she said \"I do\" and his phone rang and all the other troops/friends of her husbands had to leave that second, and a helicopter came in and everything  i mean

alright, firstly, you will never see anything bad about kerry on the news, since the f****ing media is democratic

Eh? What about the non-biased media here in Britain? The BBC News doesn\'t say it\'s own judgement on anything. That includes politics. It shows nothing to show up Bush and nothing to show up Kerry, except what comes from their own mouths so as far as that goes, that\'s a pretty lame argument.

Osama Bin-Laden? Not true. The whole Iraq thing was for just that -- Iraq. US intellegence may be looking for Osama, but they haven\'t yet worked it out to an exact country.

It was said by someone: \"Seneter Kerry has already made it clear that he will wait for approval by the UN before going to war! I want George Bush to decide\". George Bush Jr couldn\'t decide which foot is his left and which is his right! Hoo ha ha!! He has invaded two countries. One, was Afghanistan. That almost achieved its goal, but the troops got sloppy. They could have got Osama Bin-Laden then but he slipped through their grasp. The second was Iraq. And look what happened. More and more hostages are being taken. More and more people are being slaughtered. Who got the world into this mess? George Bush, that\'s who.

Kerry is just like Bill Klinton, is he? Good! America needs a good and intelligent president. Especially now.

However, as nothing is certain about Kerry yet, I think we should give him the benifit of the doubt. If you had a sweet yesterday which made you sick and tasted disgusting, and you were offered a choice today between the same sweet and one you knew nothing about, which would you choose?

AirMan, do you realize how stupid this is, how stupid you\'re acting? What right do you have to make claim what kinds of leaders we need and who they are?

To sink so low as to take cheap shots at Bush like that. You are acting no better than Michael Moore. I never thought anyone could sink so low.

It\'s no worse than what people are saying about Kerry!

What right do you have to say what I\'m saying is stupid? Has it ever occured to you that what leader you have actually affects other countries than your own? Believe me that I say similar things about our current leader, Tony Blair. Why is is stupid and low to fear for the consiquences of Bush\'s actions and to hope he can\'t do any more damage. Tell me why that\'s so low.

That is low.

Trust me, I don\'t condone them taking shots at Kerry either. It\'s one thing to disagree with their policies, it\'s something else to sink to that level.

Ok, maybe that was harsh, but it was no less deserved.

However, what is America? Dictatorship or democrocy? Did you decide to go to war? Ney. It\'s a dictatorship where only every four years do the people get to voice their oppinion. Than another four years of dictatorship begin. It\'s the same here. I believe that the people\'s voices need to be heard more than once every four years. Or at least listen to the UN!

What? Do you know another one?:P

That was \'at least\'. At the very least! If it was a true democrocy, then Bush\'s hands would be clean. As it is, becouse of his actions, and Blair\'s fondness to follow him everywhere, we\'re among the least populat countries in the world. Now which do ytou think will be bombed first?

Wow, you just put it in perspective, who cares about safety or anything, as long as we\'re a popular country, we\'re fine.

As much as I\'ve loved arguing with you, I have to go now, and I probably won\'t be back.

As long as we\'re a popular country, we\'re fine? Does that make sence?

Anyhow, lets not lose hope. We have Many to call allies. Lets see:

UK,

USA,

Russia (They\'ve sworn to help other countries who have problems with terroists after what the Czechnians did in Beslan),

Most of Europe, actually.

We are not alone in this...atrocity, this...war on terror. All we need is a decent leader. A unifyer. Someone who all nations will follow. Maybe someone freindly to Islamic groups, yet also friendly to the West. Maybe the answer to this problem of terroism is not in hostility, but in agreement and unity at the end. Who knows?

You know, other people from other countries do have a better insight of Bush than the Americans do. (Because of the American\'s bias)

I\'ve talked to friends from other countries and I agree with what they\'ve seen because Bush is clearly dangerous person.

I don\'t care if you call me a dirty liberal democratic commie or whatever, I\'m just little irritated with how some people wouldn\'t take their time to listen to the international people\'s stance on what is really happening in America. Whatever America does, it will have effect on their country, y\'know?

I don\'t care if people died on 9/11 nor do I care how many. As long as I wasn\'t there{lucky me} I don\'t give a damn for anyone that died {must be my lonelyness kicking in right now at the moment.}

You misses out a quote thing.

We know Bush\'s game, true, but we also know that war isn\'t the answer to all America\'s problems. Bush seems to think so.

[Edited on 19-9-2004 by AirMan]

This needs to be sorted out.

You forget that the U.S is the dominate superpower {supwerpowers are the most power countrie in the world.}and the only way to keep our title is to continue our winning streak in war. And one more thing, Windrider, the topic is getting messed up can you fix it please?

He can\'t. You (or a mod) have to edit your post! You missed out a quote thingie.

Winning streak? A winning streak kept by losing. There are other ways to remain dominant. Through econemy. Keep thecurrency worth something! I mean look! $1~£0.56! That\'s just over half. Not long ago, $1~€1. Now, $1~€0.82(€1~$1.22). The Euro is now worth more than the Dollar. (Sying that, though, you can get a lot more for 25¢ than you can for 25p)

National security, eh? Our oppinions? Look one bigger than Nation security. Think global security. I think what Kia was getting at (and said quite obviously, I must say) is that we seethings from a different point of view. You see things at a National point of view, as you have said. We see things at a global point of view. He is clearly a dangerous man. However, unfortunately, it\'s not just you Americans who suffer the consequences. We do, too. That\'s why sarcasm is one thing we could do without, thank you.

What has he done? Other than all I have said before, he has gone and got others on Al-Quaeda\'s side who might not have done otherwise.

Look, the global idea is one of pacifism. Look, it\'s a nice idea. It\'s a perfect idea, except, it doesn\'t work. Why? Because there is always someone who wants to violate the peace. Bush knows this, I\'m not sure if the other countries really do.

He may well know that. However, that doesn\'t justify walking into someone\'s country and robbing them of their power. No matter how harsh a dictator they are. They did it to Palistine, and now, Iraq. (I\'m not just aiming this at Bush).

Do counter Hostility, you don\'t necessarily need hostility.

WTF??? What have you\'ve been smoking!? Damn...

Geez, don\'t you think about other people in the world? \"Popular\"... What is that supposed to mean, we are better than anyone in the world? Well, if you think that, think again. Every land and people are equal, or atleast thats what your U.S. History says.

Anyway, I\'m going with Kerry. Bush reacted careless, and stated that there were \"nucleur\" weapons in Iraq. Were there any at all? Nope, not a single one. Yes, Kerry might of lied about his past, but who cares? Is the election about people who went to war and were war heros? No, it\'s about who\'s race is better. And if you might say that U.S. didn\'t harm them in cruel ways, than your wrong. I\'m sure all of you have heard of the Iraq\'s being tortured... I feel so sorry for them.... Stripping them, then unleashing dogs to them.... Now, how low can America go on that? Now, you would say that the Pres. didn\'t do that. Well, your wrong. Someone ordered them, that being the Commanders, or as you might know, the \"Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces\".... You know who I\'m talkin\' about.
