A] Redips killed Spider - the real Spider existed as a friend of Aile, who self-destructed to allow X to pass through to the Governor\'s Precinct. During the communications incident after the battle at Ulfat Factory, Spider went for some fresh air. Redips killed him then and impersonated Spider after that.

B] There is no Spider - Redips impersonated Spider and switched between them based on what he knew. In this case, Aile was likely one of the Reploids initially dispatched to Giga City - that is, before X and Zero were sent there themselves. Aile\'s comrades defected to the Rebellion and the radio lost long-range functionality after that. Aile then joined the Resistance and worked with Chief R for the short tenure he was still alive.

Either way, Redips used Spider\'s Hyper Mode to become invisible when Incentas exploded, convincing X and Zero that he went up with Incentas, too.
