yeah I must say that online girlfriends are a little odd....but I really it\'s your choice and if you like someone you don\'t know that\'s cool. It\'s just like you like someone\'s personality and looks don\'t matter*unless you have seen them on cam or something* However I personally don\'t think it\'s a good idea to have an internet girlfriend seems like it would cause problems.

Personally? I was in a internet relationship, but it changed to long distance... then now the same city. 
I\'m still with my boyfriend who I met back in 1999. We\'ve been engaged since then and currently live in the same city, so getting to see him every weekend is much better than once a year.

The probelm with having a boyfriend or girlfriend online is that usually it\'s not actually a boyfriend or a girlfriend. I mean, you know those people who say things like, \"I have a crush on ThePerson,\" or they \"ask somebody out,\" online. And then they say they\'re \"dating\" and post topics about it at message boards. Half the time these people will have never even talked to each other. It\'s really stupid, and it\'s not real. Of course you can fall in love with someone you talk to online. But then you love them, you would do anything for them, and you would not rather be with someone else in real life. And you don\'t \"ask them out.\"
The problem is you get really close to them and they send you a so called \"pic\" of them and then when you actually visit them, they end uo being gay or really really horrifically ugly. But then again I have like 68 people on my aim.:D
