yes they are taking him out and the was a secret in bn1 a secondary boss in bn2 also a secret in bn3 he was secret and secondary in 4 he is a secret but in bn 5 he is not even in it it is confirmed by capom.com

That was pointless post. Please do not spam as such. However, they are realy cheap. Maybe they just ran out of awesome attack ideas for him.

We can\'t really call them cheap for taking out Bass. Duo was in almost as many OG games as Bass, and how likely is it he\'s in the next one? I mean, they take Wily in and out of the spotlight from game to game, and he\'s been a bigshot long before Bass was. They may just take Bass out and put him back in again as well, right? I guess the thing we must realize is that Capcom can\'t keep every character in every game, no matter how cool he is. They probably can\'t decide on any way to fit him into the storyline of the next game. They can\'t exactly stick him in as a full-secret character (not pertaining to the plot) because he\'s been introduced into the plotline now.
