A Full Metal Alchemist game?! That\'s great! That makes three games I want to get if I ever get a PlayStation 2 (the other two are Yu Yu Hakusho and Onimusa Blade Warriors).

A weapon you can make is a pogo stick it\'s useless though.

This game is really cool. The graphics are nice and the story line, though somewhat predicable, is really good. You are able to transmute nearly everything into something, even add elements to them. It is nice that they chose to acually put music and movie scenes in the game.

P.S. bboy88, the Pogo Stick isn\'t all THAT useless. Good for pounding the ground, causing surrounding enemies to back off for a second or two.

A little piece of FMA localization trivia for you:

The FMA game was actually dubbed into English before dubbing of the series even began.

Of course, this makes it kinda funny that the game was released after the series started airing in the US.

This game was annouced a looooooooong ass time ago. I doubt I\'ll pick it up though, I don\'t like FMA a lot. Just because a few people see it they think they know all about alchemy. The show barely covers the basics. If any of you are interested, read up on it. It\'s a pretty interesting subject.

Ah, that\'s pretty cool. I\'ve been watching FAM on Adult Swim recently, and I\'m pretty much hooked on the series.

Though I\"ve seen one episode, I loved it. Mainly because I\'ve seen so many main characters dubbed with obnoxious voices, that this was a nice change.

DBZ, however, shall always be my favorite VA dubs, no matter what anyone else says.

The game looks cool, but i heard it could be better.

To each his own, and everyone has one. Mine is I think this game is a hit, mostly to the youth of our nation since they think any kind of cartoon with realistic violence, or characters with some kind of gimick. (Super human powers, Ability to create something out of nothing, drive a huge mech, or to use a sword of pure energy.)This is what our youth gets attachted to and what is very addictive. On a different note FMA is, thus far, very popular for it\'s main character\'s age and his witty antics (note:they\'re not really that witty.) ontop of that, this anime is purely based on fantasy, and imagination which is the reason you can\'t really compare it to real life alchemy. Real life alchemy took alot of lives with experimentation on random people, and was started with the hope of finding the real Philosopher\'s Stone, which is supposed to be the Holy Grail of alchemy. It was said that the stone could turn lead into gold, and it was also said in different parts of the world that alchemy could create a potion that would make you immortal. This is only some of the things I know about real life alchemy, and that honestly, FMA does not follow that, but this is a cartoon, and is based on pure fiction, fantasy, and imagination, which is not to be taken in on a realistic view. If everyone wanted anime based on historical events, and real life occurences, then Anime wouldn\'t be as fun, and poular as it has become.

The gameplay of FMA is still unknown to me, I\'ve only heard that it is short, and the alchemy you can use is limited, which honestly leaves you wanting more. The graphics are cartoony, which is honestly great, and keeps the same comic releif that the show has. This honestly is what\'s driving me to try it out, plus I\'m a fan as well.

God you sure are negative, stop whining about it!!!Seriously Anime is usually geared for older audiences, and usually deviates far far far from reality!!!Geez, I mean if the show focused on the real Philosopher\'s stone everyone would start to look for it!!I mean to ignorant people *cough you cough* they\'d think its made up, like reading Harry potter I originally thought Nicholas Flamel and the Sorcerer\'s stone was all fabricated by JK but I was wrong!!Anyways about the game: Its fun, KH style play, a nice side story with hope and dispare,Humorous Cutscenes \"WHO YA CALLIN SHORTY*kicks the guy out of the train*!!\"Although short and incredibly hard to reach the fabled level 99 and beat the secret bosses, its fun for people like myself who have to work and go to school,it doesnt absorb your life away like the FF series!!Well gtg, btw L.D lighten up, you only live once and if you live in constant spite you won\'t see the sun shining outside!
