I am astounded to see the \"What did you get for Christmas\" post. It seems that some of you are really missing the true meaning of Christmas. I mean I looked at it and some not all of you were really upset because you didn\'t get 500 presents or a present that costed a thousand bucks. Or \"I got a stupid laptop that doesn\'t even work\" Did you even think about the fact that they didn\'t even have to give you a laptop working or not. And another one of you were like I\'ve got a lot of cousins and uncles and aunts and not one of them gave me a gift card, did you give every one of them a present? Most of you weren\'t like that but those of you who were shocked me. The true of meaning of Christmas is Jesus birth. The birth of the one true God. And after that it\'s giving. Anyways at least take what I said into consideration.

Thanks for listening,

True, true. It seemed that this year in my household had a \"perfect\" Christmas (except for me having food poisoning and had nothing really planned for the day). Everyone just got one present and gave more than one. (Except me, again. I gave 6 and received 4. ;^^ BUT that\'s not the point!)

We had the fire burning in the fireplace, watched Little House on the Prairie together, and ate dinner together. If only I felt up to it (I should have now that I think of it), I would have topped off the good day with going to church but... that\'s a different story.

I think holidays shouldn\'t be so hustle and bustle because people kinda lose focus on the real reason for the holiday. In this case, Jesus.

Off-on Topic: I want the laptop that doesn\'t work! Whoever got that, give it to me! I want to take it apart! B)

Sorry for all this rambling! ;;^^

Well, I didnt care much about gifts, decoring the house, singing from house to house and that stuff, My best gift was to see almost all my family(uncles, cousins, my grampa, etc)being all talking and enjoying the night without caring about our problems and just enjoying the moment. That was the B-E-S-T day EVER in my life

PD. Still..... it would have been good to recieve something else......

PD Happy new Year!

Well, even if you aren\'t a follower of Christ, you can skip the whole Jesus\' birth part and just go with the giving. Don\'t mind the brats, just wait until they have children that act like they do towards them.

And that it was a pagan holiday to begin with. =P

Anyway, yes, it\'s all about giving and recieving. It\'s okay to be a little selfish anyway. We\'re humans! But there\'s a limit to selfishness such as \"I got $300 worth of presents and it wasn\'t what I wanted!\"

Or something to that extent. Anyway, I am happy with what I\'ve gotten and what I\'ve given.

Edit-- well. That topic is from last year, why bitch about it now? :P

Skipping the whole \"Jesus\" thing just isn\'t right. It\'s like skipping the whole \"turning a year older\" thing on your birthday. Skipping the true meaning just isn\'t right.

I find it annoying where schools miss out the whole fact abut Jesus and try to be \"all tolerant\" and have Christmas as a commercial holiday.I completely agree with this: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/208058

Ho! Ho! Ho! You\'re GUESSING that some people are truly missing the true meaning of Christmas by just looking what has been posted in some \"What did you get for Christmas\" topic? Since when does the topic reflect such?

Sure. When there\'s a family reunion at Christmas, we raise our glasses on the Christmas eve and the Child Jesus. There\'s something wrong with that?

Then I will be proven wrong by a something more reliable than some rambling preacher who thinks he has the ultimate right to sell us all the key to heaven\'s door. :P

Well certainly, the true meaning of Christmas is Jesus\'s birth. And true, many have forgotten that. However, some people don\'t practice Christianity, and therefore, wouldn\'t it be terrible for them not to get anything? The gift-giving and other junk just helps everyone get in the spirit. And, if you don\'t want to give gifts, nobody makes you, right? Overall, I think we should all be pretty happy with our lot. I wish places could promote Jesus, and I honestly don\'t understand why others should have a problem with us doing so. Maybe we should put up Kwanza and Hannukka (sp?) decorations too? Maybe that we we could even things out there.

Bah, I know I rambled off here. I\'ll read back over and fix it up later.:P
