What do you think of subliminal messages in songs? Do you think they are real or fake?

Hmm, ever since I\'ve been intrested in music I\'ve heard that rock music artists have been putting satanic word and phrases in their music in a reversed format. I dont know whether to believe it or not, the rocker in me says its fake, but the apprentice priest in me says its true...

Seriously? I hopes it wasn\'t true. It just sounds too weired. Plus, you never know what editing people have done to it. People could change it to sound like anything. One way to tell is not tolook at the lyrics that are on screen, as your mind will notice it if it sees the words. Listen to the message, and if is sounds like jiberish, then it\'s bullshit. If you can nderstand it without the lyrics, then it\'s true.

One I found amusing was Empty Spaces by Pink Floyd:

\"Congratulations. You have just descovered the secret message. Please send your answer to old pink, care of the funny farm.\"

Heh! That\'s most likely true.

I can see the first one seems to be put there on purpose, because he changes his first tones so you can make out the backwards message. Or at least that\'s what I think.
The Brittney Spears and Beatles ones freaked me out, because both of them kinda make sense and don\'t sound too farfetched.

The stairway one is true, if you take the MP3 of it and flip it around, you can hear those same words.

I don\'t think that this message is really there. You see, in the 70\'s many hardcore christians heard about backwards messages in rock music. These people wanted to hear the satanic lyrics, so they did. The human mind is capable of many things, including, convincing itself that something is there, that is not there. I heard this rumor long ago and tested it out on the real song. I heard alot of gibberish, and what sounded like, \"I wish it would snow,\" but nothing satanic. I saw the lyrics on screen as I listened to the clip backward, so I heard the words. But thus is the power of the human mind. I\'m not denying that some songs have backward messages in them, but stairway is not one of them.

Cool thing about stairway backwards is, it sounds like a whole other song. If you were to make the drums forward, and take away the creepy backwards gibberish lyrics, then it would just sound like a different song, and a good one at that.

I can\'t be sure about the Queen song, it\'s a little too unclear to be real, my thought, coincidence.

The britney spears song, well, it is very clear, and it seems about right, my thought, feasible.

I know the beatles one for a fact. It was part of a campaign to make people thingk that Paul, a member of the beatles was dead, he was not, it was to sell records.

Actually, Freddie Mercury wasn\'t on Coke until the 80\'s. Theefore, he mut have been in his normal state of mind when he wrote Bohemian Rhapsody. I don\'t know if John Deacon (Bass player who wrote Another One Bites the Dust) ever smoked Weed. However, it was unvlear. I couldn\'t undrstand the lyrics until I red them, which means that it\'s probably a trick of the mind.
