That\'s because Akira Toriyama (the character designer of Chrono Trigger) was working on the character designs for Dragon Warrior VII when CC was being made.
CC had plenty of tie-ins to Chrono Trigger! There was a building you could go in that was from the same year that you could access in Chrono Trigger as the future (It was the year 2030 or something. I forgot; I haven\'t played CC or CT in a while since I beat them both ages ago.)
What do you mean, \"Chrono Cross isn\'t a sequel to CT\"? What, did you expect for Square to let you play as the old characters? You thought they\'d reuse the characters? Now, now, maybe Square WILL someday let you play as the original characters in a sequel to an RPG... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Yeah well...hopefully Chrono Break will have some relevance to CT. And I know how Square is with FF and all..and how the FF\'s aren\'t tied together. But, with CT and CCross, they TRIED to tie them together...and that\'s my point. They shouldn\'t have tried if they didn\'t have the right people for the jobs.

I use Marle, Ayla, and Crono the most.. Probably Frog, Crono, Marle second.

I\'ll probably wind up using Crono, Frog, and Magus.

I used chrono, ayla and magus... volt bite is the most efficient attack. for me.:) and the other time I used chrono and marle to reach the director\'s ending... that\'s it

Hmmh....Yes...a very good team...Chronous(scientific name), Froggus (Again..) and Magus (the heck?).

Yeah, I normally use Crono, Frog, and Magus... but Marle, Lucca, and Magus is a pretty good team (not really good for the Lavos battle, though). Dark Eternal! Wee!

Well, throughout the game, I use Crono, Ayla as soon as I get her, and either Robo or Frog..

Heh..I never use Magus against Lavos... I dunno, it\'s tough having a character that can\'t do Double Techs... You have to depend heavily on the other two. And plus, the majority of his magic is \'hit all enemies\' magic..so that\'s not good against Lavos, no no. And he has no healing magic.. So I never use him..against Lavos.

There\'s something about Lucca that I don\'t like...

I\'m using Frog, Ayla, and Marle on the Blackbird right now. Froggiiieee!

Very good idea to have Ayla on the Blackbird...since her fists are her weapons, and they can\'t cut her fists off..

Blah, you haven\'t seen Dalton in this one RPG I\'m in. o_O; The guy is using this restraint thing like on Slayers and is pretty much forcing my character to work with him (PFFT! She probably won\'t do squat except serve as a hostage later I bet since she can\'t use her magic. :P) under threat of killing Froggie before the CT storyline. Not good. Nuh uh. Dalton sucks.

WHY? Why on earth does everyone give credit for Chrono Trigger\'s musical score to Yasunori Mitsuda? Yes, he was a composer for the game. As was Nobou Uematsu, who, the game has in the credits under music composer. Was Mitsuda listed right by him? No.... I know he did work on the music, but.. what about Uematsu? Why is he listed in the credits, yet everyone credits the games music to Mitsuda?

Yeah... Every site I go to to see about the new(?) CT soundtrack coming out, they say it\'s by Mitsuda.

(Yes, Mitsuda kicks ass with his Chrono Cross music, but that\'s aside the point.)

So ummm...did Uematsu just say \'Yeah, give the new kid all the credit\' or..are people just stupid? I\'m going to have to look around and find answers...

The soundtrack states that Mitsuda, Uematsu, and another guy, Noriko Matsueda were all composers. Mitsuda and Nakamura were producers.

don\'t be so dumb...they would\'nt give credit to him if he did\'nt compose the music besides he\'s ten times better than theFFguy,i like both they\'re music though...the additional cinemas in FFchronichles...there is something there.EDIT: and yes CT is my favorite of the two.
