After playing SNK vs Capcom games, as well as the outstanding \"Marvel vs. Capcom 2,\" I\'ve learned that VS series games tend to ROCK HARD. Therefore, I would like to give some news on two very interesting games following this beloved guideline.

One is Sammy vs. Capcom. As you may or may not know, Sammy makes the Guilty Gear series (awesome). That makes it a shoe in for a great 2D fighter. Also, as you should know if you\'re here, Capcom produces the ever popular Megaman series (also awesome). It promises to be great. However, I don\'t really have any advanced info yet.

Another exciting game planned is Namco x Capcom, a funtastical RPG combining the two famous companies. The new game, as mentioned, will be an RPG, so we can expect to have all sorts of fun working hand in hand with the Namco trekkies. Here is a list of characters that will be playable in the game, with a few of their Japanese voice actors (take a look at the bottom of the Capcom list:D)

It makes me sad that nobody bothers to reply to a topic like this yet.

I\'m not so sure if I\'m excited about Sammy vs Capcom; I am if it plays more like a Capcom fighter, not so much if it plays like Guilty Gear. Maybe they\'ll blend well like Capcom vs SNK did though. *shrug*

On the other hand, Namco x Capcom just looks too awesome for words. I really hope it makes it\'s way over here to North America. I remember reading somewhere it would have 200 Namco and Capcom characters, which is just awesome. I\'d love to see alot of Street Fighter characters make an appearance.

So far I\'m most excited about M. Bison\'s appearance in the game. My other two favorite Street Fighter characters haven\'t been mentioned if they\'re appearing yet...

Tentacle monsters and Morrigan? I\'ve seen that before.

Joking aside..bah, a game like FF Tactics? The game I kept dying at because I didn\'t press L1 or something? Ah well, it\'ll be cool to see screenshots.

One thing that excited me is a pic that shows Tekken\'s Jin beating up a P. Jack from Tekken 2. So apparently they put thought into the enemies...

I\'d be surprised if this wasn\'t the game of the year for me. It looks AWESOME. Lots of Tekken, some Megaman, Street Fighter, and a mess of Vampires and Darkstalkers. I\'ll post some stuff in just a second.

Sorry for double posting, but I have more new stuff on Namco x Capcom! Awesome new movies are now available on RPGamer! Definately worth checking out if your following the game.

Also, I was worried that each featured game would get about 2-3 character appearances in the game. Listen to this: from Tekken alone, you can expect Jin, Prototype Jack, Heihachi, King, and Ogre. There are probably more as well. From Street Fighter, we\'ve got Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Blanca, M. Bison, Cammy, as well as many characters from games outside SFII! The game features 2D sprites which move with extreme fluidity in the movies, delivering beautifully brutal King/Felicia or Chun-Li/Cammy combos. Many other characters can also perform combos. I\'ll get that site up.

I think this is going to be similar to the Shaman King console game, where you move your characters, and then the characters engage in side-scroller battles when one attacks the other. (Those who have played the game know what I mean)

I really hope that Hiryu makes an appearance.....he\'s so freaking cool.

Er, not really. But this is a terrible way to start the summer next to my grandfather\'s death and the selling of my Summer vacation spot. I guess I\'ll have to be content with MMBN5...

I saw the like..opening movie or something on YouTube for Namco vs Capcom, and holy pies was it awesome. Course I don't know...crap about all those Namco characters, but yeah.
