I dont quite know how this happend, but me and several of my friends at school had their computers crashed unexpectedly late at night, sometime around 7:00. at first i just thought it was my computer screwing around on me again, but when i rebooted i got the forbbiden blue screen of death.
Somewhere in the scattered white text, it said i was missing one of the main components for windows, the core if im not mistaken. i dont know how this importent peice of data could have been deleted, other then a virus.
the only thing i know for sure is that me and my friends all have dail-up modems, although not the same models or ISP.
does anyone know of any known virus\'s that goes through dail-up and eats away at the core of windows?
