Anyone every play this game? His personality is ALOT different then the last one. He acts like he is from some surfer movie with all of the \'Dudes\' and \'Owning\'. The game however is fun.

Totally forgot that game came out already... I want to play it but alas, no money. Maybe later on... Or even on my birthday (hint, hint).

If you don\'t mind Enix-kun, please tell on what the story is about. Is it a remake of the original, a continuation, or a brand new story?

Be more than happy to. It is, as far as I know, a completely new story. *grabs book* Ok, here we go...

In a distant world, a man called Gandrake and his enigmatic corporation developed a device call the nebulium engine. This revolutionary invention brought new possibilities and changed the lives of people everywhere.

But soon Gandrake Enterprises began to lust for power. Its goal: total world domination through control of precious fuel known as nebulite. To this end, Gandrake began to take a particular interest in the Mystics, a people gifted in the arts of magic.

To save them from Gandrake\'s schemes, the princess of the Mystics invoked an ancient spell of great power to summon a hero. Her magic brought them a young samurai named Musashi... just before the enemy took her captive and drove her subjects from their home.

Now, called across time and space to a stange land, Musashi must find Princess Mycella and save the mystics if he has any hope of returning home. But he is not alone. With the aid of an eccentric but brilliant martial arts master (Which, to my surprise, is a cat... with an eyepatch...), Musashi strives to become the greatest samurai ever known. With an entire world to save, he has his work cut out for him!

More or less, straight out of the booklet. Btw, no one has yet to call me that. I feel special. :3

Gotta say, Square-Enix wouldn\'t win any awards for original story... ^^; It doesn\'t sound very interesting. I guess I\'ll pick it up when it gets to the $20 range...

I have a crazy idea that this game is the prequel to Brave Fencer Musashi. Odd hypothesis, eh? ^^;;

Thanks for the info. B)

Rented it yesterday, played it for about a half hour today. I haven\'t gotten very far so I shouldn\'t pass too heavy a judgement on it, but honestly, I don\'t really like it. I just can\'t get into it.

Perhaps I need to advance further. :lol:

I loved Brave Fencer Musashi! I need to get this game. :D

By the by, did you know that Musashi is Japanese for Jesse? ^__^

Not exactly.. Musashi is the name of the character named Jesse in the Pokemon dub. The two names however aren\'t translations of each other.

In both Pokemon and Samurai Legend Musashi, the name is a reference to Musashi Miyamoto, an actual samurai in Japanese history. Although the protagonist in Samurai Legend Musashi technically is a characterization of Musashi Miyamoto..
