I'm righting a book about a Reploid I made named ZEX. This is only the first chapter, I have more, but I wanted to see if anyone liked the first one first. So let me know if you do, by posting:)





A new type of energy has just been discovered by an unknown scientist, the new energy is unlike any other, it\'s more powerful then any type of emery before, including that of the legendary Maverick Hunters, ZER0, and Mega-ManX, this new power could be the new Bassnium, but unfortunately like Bassnium this new energy is evil, for it\'s origin is this: For thousands of years people have hated each other, and over time that hatred has been building up, then Robots were made, and they to had a hatred for each other and rage towards each other, as did Humans, and over time that hatred, and that rage has been building up until one day it started to make a new type of energy, an energy that was 100% evil, for it came from heat and rage, although it was evil it was also incredibly powerful, more powerful then anything else, for it gets it\'s power from all of Humans, Robots, and Reploids throughout the universe, and all that heat and rage made it more powerful then all of the energy on Earth, and that was when it first became an entity, and that was over two thousand years ago, who knows how powerful it is now.

After the new energy was discovered by the unknown scientist, the scientist took it to two other professors and had them examine it, they also had the same conclusion as he did, and that is that the new energy was as incredibly evil as it was powerful. So the unknown scientist and the other two professors took the energy and locked it away in a crystal so it could not do any harm to Humans, Robots, or Reploids. After they tried to lock it away in the crystal something terrible and unexpected happened, the energy turned on them. [Computer alarm: WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!]
Professer#1: Dr. Orchid, we have to get out of here! Dr. Orchid: No, we must find a way to stop the energy! Professer#2: Dr. Orchid is right; we have to find a way! Professer#1: Okay, look out I\'m going to try something! [CPU alarm turns off] After activating the containment-unit around the crystal the two Professors and Dr. Orchid [AKA the unknown scientist] realized they would have to make a larger, stronger crystal or in this case a diamond. Professer#1: Dr. Orchid, this energy is unsafe. Dr. Orchid: No, you’re wrong! It just needs to put in to a larger vessel, that\'s all. Professer#2:I agree with Dr. Orchid, I believe that if we make a larger, stronger vessel that we will be able to contain it. Professer#1:Hmm...Maybe...but it would take more the just a single vessel to contain such a powerful energy, why it would take an entire Reploid and a diamond just to contain it. And even then there is no guarantee that the Reploid could use the energy. It would have to be the most advanced Reploid ever to tap in to it. Dr. Orchid: Exactly. The two Professors look at each other with a confused look on their faces, then look at Dr. Orchid. Professer#2: Just what is it that you mean by that Dr. Orchid? Dr. Orchid: My plan from the very beginning was to use this new energy to make a new Reploid to do what no other previous creation could, what no Maverick and/or Maverick Hunter can, to seek out and destroy all of the Mavericks...and only then can we all live in piece. Professer#1: You’re MAD! Professer#2: Is he? This crazy plan of his might just work, don\'t you think it\'s worth a chance? Professer#1: ...Hmph..... Professer#2: Well? Professer#1: *Sigh*...Yes. Dr. Orchid: Good, then lets get started.

Time:2:08 PM

After more then two years of trying, researching, building, examining, scanning, upgrading, and modifying they finely did it, they made the most powerful Reploid, and now for the final piece,
The Diamond Of Power, this diamond has the new energy that was named by the two Professors and Dr. Orchid: Evnium. Now they are placing The Diamond Of Power in the new Reploid,
they call him: ZEX. Professer#2: We\'ve done it! He said with excitement in his voice. Professer#1: Indeed we did. Huh, I still can\'t believe that some how we managed to do this. She said with a hint of joy in her voice. Dr. Orchid: Neither can I. A short pause as they gaze at their masterpiece. Dr. Orchid: He is with out a doubt the greatest creation of my life. Professer#2: Mine as well. Professer#1: I think we can all agree with the fact that he is the greatest creation of all of ours. She said still gazing at the Reploid, where as the other two were smiling at her, and the fact that she was actually showing an emotion other then anger for a change. Now realizing that Dr. Orchid and the other Professor were doing so, she turn to her left then her right saying Professer#1: What are you two looking at?! And then they responded saying simultaneously: Nothing. With a hint of sarcasm as they said it. About an hour later, after they had successfully placed the diamond in the helmet, they were going to activate him when all the sudden. [CPU alarm: WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!] Professer#2: What\'s going on?! Dr. Orchid: I...I don\'t know! Professer#1: I do! Look! She pointed at the security screens. Professer#2: MAVERICKS! He said in a loud panicky voice. Dr. Orchid: Quick, we have to hide it! Now all three of them working together to hide ZEX. Professer#2: I\'ll set up the emergency activation! Dr. Orchid: Okay! I\'ll set him up to sent under ground! Professer#1: I\'ll get all the defense systems up and ready! They all said loudly trying to be herd over the extremely noisy and loud alarm. BOOM! The side door had just been blown off by a Maverick. Dr. Orchid: Oh no, they’re in! Professer#2: Come on Cole, we don\'t have much time to get him under ground! Dr. Orchid: Okay, here we go! He pushed the final button, and down the new Reploid went, one thousand feet under ground, via a special elevator.

Now that ZEX has been sent under ground, the two Professors and Dr. Orchid flee to the emergency exit in hopes that they may escape the Mavericks. Professer#2: Ahh! He let out a cry as he fell to the floor after being blasted by a Maverick. Professer#1: Professor!!! She screamed in a voice of fear, concern, and sadness. She went to go back and help him when Dr. Orchid grabbed her, and shook his head and said... Dr. Orchid: It\'s too late, he\'s gone now! He said in a voice of sadness. Dr. Orchid: But they’ll pay for it! Then they both ran towards the emergency exit, and then threw it. They had escaped the Mavericks. [Thirty minutes later]
They were far out of reach, and well hidden. Professer#1: Now what? She said in a voice of sadness. Dr. Orchid: I don\'t know. Wait I suppose. Professer#1: Wait? Wait for what?! Huh, what are we waiting for Cole?! Dr. Orchid: We are waiting for ZEX, Prof. Elis! Or would you rather try to kill the Mavericks your self! She now realizes just how dumb what she said was. Prof. Elis: Oh...*sigh* How long will it take for him to activate? Dr. Orchid: I don\'t know, Prof. Halt was the one who set up his emergency activation, but if I had to guise I\'d say about five years. Prof. Elis: What! Five years! Dr. Orchid: Yes. The emergency activation was made so that if something were to happen the emergency activation could be set just incase no-one survived, and then after the time is up it will activate ZEX. Prof. Elis: Yes, but why so long? Dr. Orchid: Just in case of say...some type radiation in the area, this way the Reploid will not be harmed when it is activated.
Prof. Elis: I see. She looked down with a sad look upon her face. Prof. Elis: Very well then, I will see in five years Dr. Orchid.
Dr. Orchid: Good-bye Sakura. Prof. Elis: Good-bye Cole. They both said with sadness in their voices. Then she got up from her seat, turned around. Prof. Elis: I\'ll miss you Cole. Dr. Orchid: What? He said in confusion. Then she left as fast as possible. He just sat there in shock and confusion, trying to figure out what she meant by that. He thought he knew what she meant, but he was unsure, so he got up and ran after her, but by that time she was already gone, and he now saw that. So now he would go home, and wait for ZEX to activate.

Date:May8th
Time:4:03 AM

Mega-ManX: This is Commander X, I need backup now! Then all the sudden the Reploid activated, ZEX activated. Then he leaped out of the elevator, drew his saber, and faster then the eye can see, slashed and destroyed each and every Maverick, and then stood in front of
Mega-ManX with his back to him, as he watched all of Mavericks explode before him. Mega-ManX watched in disbelief as this new Reploid had just destroyed every Maverick their, and was now watching them blowup. Now that the explosions were over the new Reploid turned around. ZEX: Are you okay? Mega-ManX: Yes.
[Short pause] Who are you? ZEX: My name is ZEX. Who are you?
Mega-ManX: I am Commander Mega-ManX, Commander of the Seventeenth Unit of the Maverick Hunters. ZEX: Maverick Hunters. He had thought that he was the only one going after the Mavericks. Looks like he was wrong, and he was glad he was. Mega-ManX: What is your business here? ZEX: I was activated here just moments ago. Mega-ManX: What? That\'s impossible,
no-one has lived here for three years. ZEX: Oh...I don\'t know how I was activated really, it just kind of happened. X just looked at him, wondering if he should believe him. Then all of the sudden he was gone. X was confused, he didn\'t take his eyes off of him for a second, so how could he have gotten away? X looked around, and then he looked up on top of a close by building, and there he was. ZEX: Sorry Mega-ManX, I can\'t just stand around and talk all day, I have Mavericks to destroy! Then he left faster then the eye can see. X just stood there for a minute in shock at how fast he was. Mega-ManX: This is Commander X, cancel that backup.
Alia: Roger, Commander X. Mega-ManX: I\'m breaking contact. Then X teleports back to the HQ. Now ZEX searches for more Mavericks to destroy, and he finds them, robbing a jewelry store. Now ZEX turns his right arm in to a buster. ZEX: Say goodbye! Then he blasts them away, and returns the jewels. Then he sensed something behind him. Then he went to turn around and *BASH!* someone snuck up on him and took a cheap shot from the back.

He turns around after what was suppose to be a knock out blow, turned and then aimed his buster right at his head, and then blasted it off. ZEX: Panku. Teach you to take a cheap shot. Then he heard a strange sound, like a whistle. ZEX: What the...? *CRASH!* A Reploid dropped out of the sky and crashed right in to the ground, and broke the rode in the surrounding twelve foot area around the Reploid. Now it is rising to its feet. ZEX: Who are you?
Reploid: My name is Sigma. The Reploid appeared to be no threat to ZEX. So he just figured he\'d ask some questions. ZEX: What is your business here? Sigma: Ha ha ha. He laughed quietly.
Sigma: You killed a large amount my men. ZEX: Huh... He said confused, but just for a moment, and then it hit him. ZEX: Wait a minute, your men! So you’re the...! He was cut off by Sigma. Sigma: The Maverick leader. ZEX went ballistic, and got out both his Saber and his Buster, and started blasting away at him.
Sigma: Aaahhhgg! He let out a cry as ZEX blasted him. Then ZEX ran at him, and slashed Sigma right across his torso. Sigma: Ahg! How...[zap of electricity]..how is he so powerful? He said under his breath, as if asking himself. ZEX turned around to run, and slash him again. Sigma: Why you.....I\'ll be back! Then he teleported away. ZEX: Agh. Rrr...I\'ll get you yet Sigma.
[Meanwhile at the HQ]
Mega-ManX: I\'m telling you, he just came out of no-where and destroyed them. ZER0: So this guy comes out of no-where kills all the Mavericks, and then vanish\'s on top of a building, then just leaves. He said in disbelief. Mega-ManX: Yes. ZER0: So who is he? Mega-ManX: He said his name was ZEX. ZER0: ZEX? Never heard of him. Mega-ManX: Neither have I. ZER0: So where do you think he came from? Mega-ManX: He said he was activated their just moments before he showed up. ZER0: What? That\'s impossible, no-one\'s lived there for [He was cut off by X] Mega-ManX: Three years. Yah I know, I told him that. ZER0: So what did he say? Mega-ManX: *Sigh* He said he didn\'t know how he was activated, it just kind of happened. ZER0: Wha... How is that possible?

[At the Maverick Head Quarters]
Alone in the darkness of his chambers, Sigma begins talking to himself, asking questions, and even providing answers. Sigma: How...how could he be so powerful? He almost killed me in a matter of seconds! He said to himself in a rage of disappointment. Sigma: How? I don\'t understand. He said in confusion. Sigma: Who is he? Is he some new Maverick Hunter that I’ve never heard of? No, if he was that good I would of heard something. Some of my men would of reported someone like that. Wouldn’t they? He said questioning himself. Sigma: Vile, get in here! He yelled in to the communicator. *Door opens* Vile: I\'m here Sigma, what do want? Sigma: Have you heard anything about a new Hunter? Vile: No.
[Short pause] Why do you ask? Sigma: Someone attacked me that had never seen before in my life. Of cores I tried to kill him first, but that was because he had killed many of my men. Vile: So what\'s the problem? Sigma: The problem is that Reploid almost killed me! He stepped in to the light, and then the massive scar across his torso where he slashed him with his saber caught Viles eye. Vile: Aaahh! He screamed at the gruesome sight. The scar and the chunk of his left arm and a large amount of the right side of his chest were missing. Vile: Who did this? Sigma: If I knew do you think I would have called you in here to ask you if their was a new Hunter?! He said pointing out the stupidity in his question.
Sigma: I need you to find out who he is. Vile: Yes sir. What did he look like? Sigma: I don\'t really know, it was to dark to make out what he looked like. Vile: What about his weapon? Did anything stand out on it? Sigma: His Buster, it had a symbol on it.
Vile: What did it look like? Sigma started to try to draw the symbol. Sigma: It looked allot like this. Then he handed Vile the drawing. Vile looked down at it as he took it from his hand. Vile: Very well sir. I\'ll do my best. Sigma: Be shore that you do. He said almost threading him. Vile turns around walks out the door
[Door opens] Vile: Interesting. [Door closes] Sigma now puts his mind to rest. Sigma: When he finds out who he is [Madman laughter]

[The next day]
After going all over the city in search of more Mavericks, ZEX comes across something interesting. ZEX: What the...? A group of Mavericks were having a meeting. ZEX: Well well well, what do we have here? It looked like a large purple Maverick was making some kind of announcement. Vile: All right, lysine up! We’re looking for a Reploid with this on him! He held up the drawing that Sigma gave him. Vile: It\'s on his Buster, and it might be on other parts too. So if you find someone with this or something that looks like this on them, bring\'em in! Got it?! Mavericks: YAH!!! Then the purple Maverick teleports away. All of the other Mavericks start to spread out to go look, when all of the sudden. ZEX: Hay you! Then they all turn and look right at him. ZEX gets his Buster out, and puts the symbol right in front of them. ZEX: This what you’re looking for. He said knowing that it was. Mavericks: Lets get him! Rrraa! ZEX: Hmph...yah right. ZEX aims his Buster, charges it for no more then two seconds, and then [BOOM!] blasts more then 75% of them away. The Mavericks are still coming at him, so he gets out his Saber, puts his Buster away, and starts to run at them. ZEX: End of the line! Then moves so fast that he can\'t be seen, and slashes each and every Maverick in half. ZEX: Hmph. Rookies. Then all of the Mavericks begin to blowup [Explosions] Then ZEX leaves to find more Mavericks. [Back at the HQ] Alia: X...X! We have a situation! Mega-ManX: I\'m on my way! X rushes to the main room. Mega-ManX: I\'m here Alia, what is it?! Alia: Look! She points to the screen, where a renegade Reploid has been blasting away at a building. Mega-ManX: Aaahh! Seeing the Reploid put X in to shock, but just for a moment. ZER0: Hay what\'s wrong with X? Alia: I don\'t know. Mega-ManX: That\'s the Reploid that saved me! ZER0: What?! Are you serious?! Commander: Yes! I told you ZER0. I knew I wasn\'t seeing things! Alia: Hay, you two! I don\'t care about what ever it is that you’re talking about, cause right now you guys need to get there right now! CommanderX&ZER0: Right! CommanderX and ZER0 teleport, in a mater of seconds they are there.

ZER0: Hay you! Stop! ZEX turns around. ZEX: Hay I know you. He looked right at CommanderX. ZEX: You’re Commander
Mega-ManX. CommanderX: So you remember. ZEX: Oh yah, I remember. You on the other hand, I\'m not so shore about. X and ZER0 both looked confused. CommanderX: I don\'t understand. He said confused. ZEX: Hmph. I saved your life X, and this is how you repay me?! CommanderX: I don\'t get it.
ZER0: look, whoever you are [He was cut off] ZEX: My name is ZEX. ZER0: Right. Look ZEX, what are you doing? ZEX: I\'m trying to blowup this building. ZER0: So you admit it?! ZEX: Yah, what\'s your point? ZER0: My point is that you’re acting like a Maverick! ZEX: WHAT! Don\'t you get it? The reason I\'m trying to blow this place up is because I tracked a purple Maverick to this place. CommanderX: What? A purple Maverick? ZEX: Yah, I think they called him...Vile. Yah that\'s it, Vile! CommanderX&ZER0: VILE!!! ZEX: That\'s what I said. Both X and ZER0 go in to shock at the fact that some how Vile lived threw that last battle between the three of them. They thought they had killed him, they even thought they watched him explode. Apparently they were wrong. ZEX: So are you guys going to help me or what? X: Yah, we\'ll help. ZER0: First things first. That [points at wall] is a Buster resistant wall. You won\'t be able to do any thing with that. He said pointing at his Buster. ZEX: I see. He said, then putting his Buster away. ZEX: So what do you propose we do? ZER0 draws his Z-Saber, and then CommanderX draws his Saber.
ZEX: All right, lets do it. ZEX then draws his Saber. Then ZER0, CommanderX and ZEX all charge at it slashing it, and busting threw the wall. X: It\'s... ZER0:Empty. They both said in a confused voice. ZEX: I...I don\'t get it. I could of swore he was here!
Vile: Greetings Maverick Hunters! Vile jumps down from on top of a steel beam going all the way from one side of the building to the other. Vile: Hello Hunters, don\'t tell me you came all this way to see little old me. ZER0: Cut the crap Vile, we know what you’re up to. ZER0 was bluffing. Vile: Me? Why, I\'m not up to anything.

ZER0: Rrrr... Vile: Ah, what\'s the mater ZER0?
ZER0: Rrr...Panku. He said under his breath. Vile: So ZER0, how\'s Iris, still dead. ZER0 had flash backs of Iris, including the memory of them in battle, and her death. ZER0 lost it, and started beating the crap out of him with his bare hands. ZER0: YOU SON OF A!!! ZEX: Should we help him? X: I...don\'t know. Vile, after being pummeled in to oblivion, blasted ZER0 back with his Blaster. Vile: Agh...gh...you may of won this time [He was cut off] ZEX: Yah, yah, yah. Eat this! ZEX then slashed him with everything he had, and cut off his left arm. Vile: AAAAAAHHHHGGGG!!! Vile let out a cry as his arm was just slashed off. X: It\'s time..
[Sound of X-Buster powering up]...POWERSHOT!!! Vile then teleports out as fast as possible. [Sound of powershot] X: Ahg! He got away! ZEX: Rrrr. ZER0: Punk! ZEX: Hmph. ZEX turns around and starts to leave. X: Hay, where are you going? ZEX: To find him, and other Mavericks. X: Wait! ZEX stops. ZEX: Huh? He said out of confusion. X: If you’re that Sirius about getting the Mavericks, why don\'t you join us? ZEX: Hmph. He snickered at the thought of joining the Hunters, even though it had crossed his mind once or twice, teaming up wasn\'t something he wanted to do. ZEX: Sorry, not my style. Then ZEX put his Saber away and left. Alia: X, ZER0, we have a situation! ZER0: Rodger. We’re on are way. X and ZER0 teleport back to the HQ. ZEX: Hmm? What the...? Another large group of Mavericks, but this time they’re not having a meeting or robbing a jewelry store, this time they were burning and blowing up building. ZEX: Haahg! He let out a bit of a scream at the site of all the chaos. ZEX: That\'s it! He screamed as loud as he could. ZEX: Now you’re mine Mavericks! ZEX got out his Saber and went totally berserk. Two by two, he wiped them out, then three by three, and before they knew it more then 95% of them were gone. It made quite a show. The Mavericks turned their attention to ZEX. ZEX: Hmph. Mavericks: Aahhg. They all started to quiver in fear. ZEX: Hahaha. Now...you’re all ganna die. Hayya!! He ran, then slashed them. Mavericks: Aaaahhhgg!!![explosions!]

You know, to point out the change in talking, and dialogue.

Overall, It\'s great! But it seemed rushed as soon as ZEX was activated. Describe his surroundings more. It adds to the story.

By the way, what does \"Panku\" mean? I know its another language, but I don\'t know what it means.

Oh, I see why all the lines are like that. You need to press enter 2 times to get a new line....Creepy...It never did that to me before.....

No, I don\'t speak another language as a main one, I\'m just a really bad speller. And panku is Japanese, panku means punk. And I don\'t like to start new lines, I don\'t conpleatly understand why I have to:conf: But thanks for advice about the surroundings:) I\'ll keep that in mind for next time.

Maverick: Sir, we found him! Sigma: Ha, excellent.
Maverick: should I prepare the others? Sigma: No, I\'ll take care of this one personally! Hahaha, payback time. He said to himself. Maverick: Very well sir. I\'ll prepare the teleportation device.
Sigma: Good, and make it quick. Sigma was in a hurry to get his revenge. [Moments later]ZEX went in to a building looking for more Mavericks. ZEX: Huh? He said confused.
Sigma: Hello. ZEX turned around. Sigma: Remember me?! He said in an angry tone of voice. ZEX: Ha, yah I remember you, you’re the guy I almost killed just a couple of nights ago. He knew who he was, and he knew his name, ZEX only put it the way he did because he knew that Sigma was still dwelling over it, and that it would just piss him off even more. Sigma: Arr...why you...you’re going to pay for what you did! Rrraaahh!!! Sigma got out his Sickle and ran at ZEX in a pit of rage. ZEX: Not so fast. ZEX then vanished, or at least that\'s what it looked like. Sigma stopped dead in his tracks, then looked all around, trying to find him. ZEX put his face right next to Sigma\'s, but just far enough back to where Sigma couldn\'t see him. Sigma: Where are you?!?! ZEX: I\'m right here! Sigma turned around as fast as he could to catch him, but their was no-one their. Sigma: Wha...? He\'s...gone. He said in confusion. ZEX had gone behind him again. ZEX: Looking for me. He said tauntingly. Sigma turned around again. Sigma: Where is he? ZEX was behind him again. ZEX: Right here! Sigma turned around, but this time ZEX was there. [BASH!] ZEX hit him hard right in the face, then got out his Buster and blasted him in his chest. Again and again ZEX blasted Sigma away. Sigma: Aaaahhhgg!!! ZEX: How\'s that feel. Hmm, power shorting out yet! Sigma: Hrr...hrrr. You...you beat me. ZEX: Hahahaha, and now...[ZEX leans down and gets right in his face]..I\'m going kill you.
Fear now filled Sigma\'s eyes.
ZEX: Haha hahaha, ha ha ha ha!!! Now you’re ganna die. ZEX aimed his Buster at Sigma\'s face, and was about to fire when [BOOM!] a purple figure had blasted the roof and was about to drop down.
ZEX: What the?! Vile: Ah, so we meat again!

Then he dropped down. ZEX: Vile! Vile: Bingo. Sigma lets go!
ZEX: Oh no you don\'t! ZEX aimed his Buster and [Blast!] It was too late, they had just teleported out. ZEX: Ahg! Dang it! They had escaped. ZEX: Next time[short pause]you’re mine Sigma. ZEX left to find more Mavericks so that he could find out where Vile and Sigma where hiding, and then wipe them out once and for all.
[Back at the HQ]
X: I\'ve never seen such power before. He slashed Viles arm right off. ZER0: I know, I haven\'t either. It\'s as if he has some type of super energy. It\'s like he has Evnium. He said sarcastically. X looked right at him. X: That\'s it. ZER0: What\'s it? X: Evnium. ZER0: Are you kidding me? X, Evnium doesn’t exist. X: Or dose it? ZEX did say he was activated there, and according to legend that\'s where Evnium is, or was. ZER0: X lysine to your self! Evnium, legend, come on, you know better then that! X: No ZER0! I\'m serious! It all makes sense in some freakish way. Legend states that a Reploid was made for Evnium, a Reploid that exceeds the powers, speed, and abilities of all other Reploids. ZER0, ZEX is that Reploid. He slashed off Viles arm with no problem, killed a Very large amount of Mavericks in just a matter of seconds, and moves so fast that you can\'t even see him. ZER0 was now starting to believe that what X was saying was actually true. ZEX had found some Mavericks, but unfortunately they were programmed to self-destruct when captured. ZEX sensed someone behind him, so he turned around quickly. A large red&white figure appeared. ZEX: Who are you? He said firmly.
???: Die. ZEX: Hmph, like I haven\'t heard that before. ???: No you fool, my name is Die. Then he pulled out a red die with white dots on it. Die: You know, like you play with. ZEX: Oh...so your name\'s Die? Die: That\'s what I said. ZEX: Hmm...what are you doing here? Die: Fallowing you. ZEX: What?! How long have you been fallowing me?! Die: Ever sense you activated ZEX.
ZEX: What?!?! What do want from me?! Die: Nothing. Just looking out for you, that\'s all. ZEX: Looking out for me? Why? He said in confusion. Die: You don\'t know who I am, do you?

ZEX: Should I? He said confused. Die: No, I guess not, sense you were activated long after me, and I didn\'t see you till your resent activation. ZEX: Who are you? He said even more confused.
Die: Hmph. You really don\'t know me. I\'m your brother ZEX.
ZEX: What? My...brother. His mind was doing laps trying to remember his \"brother\" as Die put it. Die: Don\'t try, you won\'t remember, I can\'t tell you why, but I can tell you that we also have two sisters. Skyler and Karei. They were so excited about you, you were suppose to be the greatest of us all, even Skyler and I. Hmph, it\'s funny really, cause first Skyler was suppose to be the best, then I was suppose to be the best, but nether one of us was any better then the other, so then they decided to make another using the data of both Skyler and I plus what they knew about the infamous Mega-ManX and ZER0. ZEX: Wait, did you say Mega-ManX and ZER0?
Die: Yes. Why do you ask? ZEX: Cause they’re after the same guys I am. I met them a time or two, I even fought beside them. Die: Oh. He said in amazement. Die: Then what are you waiting for? Go to them, join forces, cause it\'s a hard fight, and even though you may be strong, powerful, and fast, you can\'t do this alone. Take my word for it, it\'s hard, and you should accept the help you’re offered.
ZEX: How did you know they offered? Die: Like I said, I’ve been fallowing you. But somehow I missed the part where you fought beside ZER0 and Mega-ManX. ZEX: Hah. So where are Skyler and Karie? Die: Don\'t know. Last time I saw them they were running for the door trying to get away from the Mavericks. ZEX: The Maverick?! Die: Yah, they attacked the lab for who knows what reason, but Skyler and I had to take them out, I told her to leave, she didn\'t want to but I made her, I just wanted know that she was safe. I almost died trying, but I killed most of them, the others just ran away. Skyler and I only came back because we had both ran in to Karie, and she said that you were suppose to be getting finished that day. ZEX: Came back? He was confused, and his confusion came out in his voice. Die: Yah, you see when Skyler and I were made we went rogue as they put it.

Die: Just days after I was activated I left, I didn\'t like being one place for so long, Skyler left for other reasons, reasons I don\'t know. She left just the day before I did. ZEX: Oh, I see. So why did you come back to the \"lab\" as you put it. Die: Don\'t know really, wanted to see if any body ever came back after the Mavericks left. Wanted to see Karie again, hah, she was really the only reason I stayed as long as I did. Skyler was always so...distant, she didn\'t like to talk to anyone, and she always carried around that old coin, but I wasn\'t much different as far as the no talking thing went, the only one that I liked to talk to was Karie, and Karie could talk for hours. She\'d go on and on about the simplest things, like how she found the closest spot at the store, or how she finely deseeded to do her hair striate, but no mater what she was talking about she always seemed to make it sound interesting. Our conversations were mostly just her, I\'d just lean back and lysine, and every now and again I\'d say something like: Oh, Huh, or kool, but that was about it. ZEX: What about the people that made me? Where are they? Die: Don\'t know. It\'s the same with them as it is with Skyler and Karie. ZEX: Oh, I see. Die: Hay, I\'ll see you later ZEX, gotta go. ZEX: Wait!!! Die teleported away before ZEX got his word out. ZEX: Rrr...dang it! He was upset that Die teleported out before he got to ask anything more. ZEX: I had no idea I had a...family. ZEX said still shocked. If what Die said was true, then he had a family, two sisters and a brother. [BOOM!] ZEX: Huh?! ZEX turned around and looked up. ZEX: Oh no. A huge explosion at the very least one thousand feet high coming from uptown Metropolis, ZEX ran to go check it out, even though uptown Metropolis was over a half mile away he got their in just a matter of seconds. ZEX: Haahg! He screamed just slightly as he watched the chaos the Mavericks were causing. ZEX: Fricking Mavericks!!! ZEX equipped his Buster and started firing. ZEX: Rraaahhhh!!! It was really getting to him, the chaos, the deaths, the pain these Mavericks were causing. As far as finding Sigma and Vile by asking their minions he didn\'t care any more, they were all going to die. ZEX: Hayya!!! ZEX just kept shooting.

Then he turned around quickly, and there was a rather large Maverick right in front of him. Then all the sudden. [Laser like sound]
ZEX: Huh. X: Eat this! [BOOM!] He blew it up with a Power Shot, then he dropped down. ZEX: We\'ve got to stop meeting this way. He said humorously. X: Haha. ZER0: Hay, save the chitchat for another time, right now we\'ve got work to do. X: Right! Let\'s do it! ZEX: Ha. Okay, let\'s go! They said with enthusiasm in their voices. And at that moment they charged at the Mavericks, as ZER0 slashed them in to little piece\'s X and ZEX blasted them apart. X: Take this!
ZER0: Sha!!! ZEX: Shish-ka-bobbed. [Explosions!] X: Well, that should do it. ZER0: Yap. ZEX: Huh? ZEX turned around, and looked down the rode a far far distance. ZEX: What the...? He said confused. X: What is it? ZER0: Huh? What\'s with him? He said to X. ZEX: It\'s not over yet. X: What do you mean? We won, they’re all destroyed ZEX. ZEX: Then what\'s that? He then pointed to the moving object down the rode, that looked like it was getting closer. X: Huh, what is that? ZER0: I don\'t know, but it\'s coming this way.
ZEX: Hmm. X: It\'s getting closer. ZER0: What the heck is that thing? ZEX: Backup. X: Huh, backup? He said in confusion. ZER0: Great, so now what? ZEX: We wait. ZER0: Wait? Wait for what exactly? ZEX: What ever that is. X: We don\'t even know what it is.
ZEX: Doesn’t mater. If it\'s a Maverick we have to stop it, no ifs ands or buts about it! X: Uummm, what was that last part? ZEX: It mean\'s no if we knew more about what it was, no and how do we beat it, and no but we have to go back to base and get backup for this, none of that crap! Got it?! ZER0: All right. X: Okay. ZEX: Good.
[Sound of gravel braking] X: What\'s that? X and ZER0 start to look around to try to find what the sound is coming from. ZEX: It\'s within earshot. ZER0: Could it be...? X: Maybe. It would have to be really big though. It was almost there. ZER0: Oh great, thanks for making me feel more secure X. He said sarcastically. The sound was getting louder. X: Come on ZER0, the chances of it being that big are slim to none. It arrived. They all looked up at the sixty foot tall Robot.
ZEX: You were saying. X: Okay, so I was wrong, it is that big.

ZER0: Alright ZEX, any more bright ideas? ZEX: I\'ve got a few.
X: Well spill it! We don\'t have much time! ZEX scans it as fast as possible. ZEX: Okay, go for its head! The head and upper torso are it\'s weak points! ZER0: How nice for those of us who have Busters, but what about me, I can\'t jump that high you know?! X: Just distract it! ZER0: Great, I\'m live running bate. He said somewhat angry. ZEX started blasting away at the Robots face. ZEX: Hayya!!! X then started to shoot at his upper torso. X: Eat this! ZER0: Okay pal, let\'s dance! ZER0 began to run circles around him, slashing him at the time to distract him. Robot: Aahhg! It screamed as X and ZEX blasted away at it. Robot: Rrraahh!!! It screamed as it prepared to fight back. [Wham!] With one ferocious strike from its right fist, X dropped like a fly. ZEX: X! I\'m coming X! ZEX leaped down to grab him.
ZER0: X! I\'ve got ya. ZEX landed. ZEX: Is he okay? X: I\'ll be all right. Arg. I\'ve hade worse. ZER0: Good, then let\'s get back in there.
X: Right. ZEX: All right punk, here I come! ZEX jumped past the Robots head, and over the skyscraper right next to it. ZEX: Say your prayers!!! ZEX started to charge up his Buster. A bright light from ZEX\'s Buster started to get brighter, and brighter, until it was so bright that X and ZER0 had to look away. ZEX: Rrraahh!!! FEEL IT! [BOOM!!!] A blast of epic proportions was fired from ZEX\'s Buster, and completely wiped out the Maverick Robot.[EXPOTION!!!] A massive explosion came from the Maverick Robot. X: We\'ve got to get out of here! ZER0 where are you?! ZER0: I\'m over here X! Let\'s get back to base! Theirs no way that thing lived threw that! Mission complete, now let\'s go! X: Okay! ZEX are you coming?! ZEX begins to think to himself: Um. Maybe I should lysine to Die, maybe I should go and join forces with them. I just don\'t know. Arr, let\'s do it! ZEX: Yah! X: Oh. ZER0: Oh. They said in shock.
X: Okay, let\'s go! And then all three of them teleport out, and in to the HQ. ZEX: Woe. This is your Head Quarters? He said amazed at the site of it all. X: Yap, this is it. The HQ. Signas: Ah, I see you have returned. Huh. Who is this? X: Commander Signas, this is ZEX, an ally. Signas: Hmm, how do you know he\'s not a Maverick?

X: He has helped us times in the past. He even helped us fight Vile. Signas: Hmm. Who are you? ZEX: Name\'s ZEX. Signas: I know your name, it\'s your job I want to know now. ZEX: Job? He was confused, he had no idea what Signas was talking about. ZEX had only been active for a short time, and had no clue what a job was. ZEX: What\'s that? Signas: Uh! You don\'t know what a job is? ZEX: Nope. I haven\'t been active for to long, so I don\'t really know what\'s what when it comes to some things. Signas: I see. Where do you come from? ZEX: I don\'t understand. Signas: Where were made, where were you activated? ZEX: Umm, good question. Signas: Ohh. He said frustrated. X: I can answer that. Signas: Go on, I\'m lessoning. X: He comes from the down town area of Gahara. Signas: Gahara?! Ahh. Impossible. Down town Gahara has been deserted for years. Is it possible, could ZEX be the legendary Reploid Gahara? Signas said to himself in his mind. No it\'s impossible, it\'s only a story. He said again in his head. X: I know sir, but that is where he was activated. X: No. ZEX: Told me what? Signas: Maybe we should wait. ZEX: I said, told me what? ZER0: Okay ZEX, here\'s the deal, theirs a legend about a Reploid with unbelievable power. [CPU alarm, WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!] ZEX: What\'s going on?! ZER0: I don\'t know! Signas, what\'s going on?! Signas: I don\'t know! Threw the loud speaker a voice came. Alia: All Maverick Hunters report to the main room! I repeat, all Maverick Hunters report to the main room! This is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill! ZER0: Let\'s go! X, ZER0, Signas, and ZEX all rush to the main room. They have arrived at the main room. Alia: X, ZER0, come over here! They run over to Alia. Alia: Look! She then points at the monitor in front of her. X: Sigma! ZER0: What\'s he doing?! X: Signas, come take a look at this!

ZEX: Sigma, what have you done? Wait a minute, that\'s...Gahara!
X: No. X said, shaking his head and wishing it wasn\'t true. But it was indeed Gahara. ZEX: No, no, NO!! Rrrrr. Sigma, you will die for what you have done. He said under his breath. ZEX turned around, and started walking away. X: Wait! what are you doing?! ZEX: Leaving. X: What? Why? ZEX: Sigma wants me, not you. He\'s calling me out to fight, and I\'m going to go fight. ZER0: You can\'t serous! Sigma will rip you apart! ZEX: Hmph, yah right. He\'s nothing. X: Are you kidding me?! Sigma is one of the most powerful Reploids their are! ZEX: Maybe to you, but I\'ve already nearly killed two times before. Sigma\'s a big bully with no real power! He just prays on weak, and I can\'t have that happen any more! Tonight is the night Sigma shakes hands with Shouten! Death is coming for him. X: Okay. ZER0: I\'m going with you! X: Me to! No ifs ands or buts about it. Then ZER0, and X smiled. ZEX: Haha. Okay, Let\'s do this! Alia: I\'ll prepare the teleportation devices. Signas: Be careful out there, and good luck! X, ZER0, and ZEX step on to the devices. Alia: You’re all set. Get ready! The device activates, and in just seconds they’re in Gahara, standing no more then twenty feet away from Sigma. Sigma: So, you came. X: Yah, we came! Sigma: X?! ZER0: What\'s wrong Sigma, you sound surprised to hear our voices. Sigma: An...and ZER0?! ZEX: Don\'t worry Sigma, I made it to. Sigma turned around with fear in his eyes. Axl: That\'s right Sigma, we’re all here! X&ZER0: Axl?! Axl: Hay guys, how\'s it join? ZER0: How did you get here?
Axl: Dose that really matter right now? ZER0: Hah, you got a point. Axl walks up from behind them and stands to the left of X. Axl: You guys ready? X: Yah. ZER0: Yap. ZEX: I was made ready. Axl: Good, then let\'s do this! Axl gets out his guns, X equipped his Buster, and ZER0 and ZEX drew their Saber\'s and prepared for battle. ZEX: This is it Sigma, this time you’re going down! ZEX now thought to himself: And you’re ganna stay that way. ZER0: All right, let\'s go! ZEX and ZER0 ran right at him, but little did they know that he had a plan.

Sigma: NOW! Then hundreds of Mavericks came out of no-where.
X: What the...?! Axl: Dirty Maverick! ZEX: Leave them to me. He said in a calm yet creepy voice. Axl: Is he for real? X: Yeah [short pause] he is. Axl: What?! But how can he?! Then out of no-where ZEX started to glow. The glow was like a chrome coating. ZEX: DIE!!! [Up town Gahara] Die: ZEX? Then Die started to glow as well. Die: Ohh. It\'s time. [Ten seconds later] Die: You called. ZEX: Ready?! Die: Ready! ZEX and Die stood back to back, then leaped in to the sky. ZEX & Die: Evnium wave!!! Then they both charged down at the ground and struck it, ZEX with his Saber, and Die with his red and white die. The power from both of them sent out a wave of energy that destroyed all of the Mavericks. Sigma: Aaaahhhgg!!! [EXPOTIONS!] Sigma was down, but he wasn\'t out, not yet anyway. Sigma: Arg! My...my arm. I...ahg...I can\'t fight any more. ZEX: This is it Sigma. Tonight you die. Fear was filling Sigma\'s eyes more and more. X: Tonight we put an end to you, and your rain of terror!
ZER0: It\'s over Sigma. Axl: You lose! Die: Enough talk, let\'s take him out already. ZEX: Right. You guys ready?! Axl&X&ZER0: Yah! Die: Then let\'s do it! Die jumps back to get a good beam on him, X and Axl aim right at him, ZER0 gets ready run and give it all he\'s got, ZEX prepares his Saber. X: Final strike! ZEX and ZER0 run up to Sigma and slash away at him, and the others stand back and blast Sigma where ever they can without hitting ZEX or ZER0. Axl: Bang! X: Eat this! Die: Single Snake Eye! ZEX: ZER0 move to your right! ZER0 moves as fast as he can to dodge the thin beam coming for him, as ZEX moves to the left. Sigma: Aaaaahhhhggg!!! [EXPLOTION!] Axl: Did we do it? X: I think so. ZEX: It\'s over...for now. Die: Later! Die then teleports away. ZEX: Thank you Die. We owe you one.
X: Where did he go? ZER0: Yah. We didn\'t get to thank him.
ZEX: Don\'t know. But if we need him I\'m shore he\'ll be there for us. Axl: How do you know? ZEX: I just do. I know my brother won\'t let me down. X&ZER0: Your brother?! ZEX: Yes. Die is my brother.
X: I didn\'t know you had a brother. ZER0: Yah, me ether. ZEX: I just met him yesterday. Axl: So how do you know he\'s your brother?

ZER0: I train a girl named Skyler. ZEX: Ahh! Are you serous?! ZER0: Yah. She\'s kind of... ZEX: Distant? ZER0: Yah, how did you know? ZEX: And she always carries around some old coin? ZER0:Y...yah. How do know this stuff? ZEX: ZER0, that\'s my sister! ZER0: Are you positive? ZEX: Yes! Come on let\'s go! ZER0: Okay, here we go! ZEX and ZER0 teleport back to the HQ. X: Ready Axl? Maybe he didn\'t try to attack us because he couldn\'t. Axl: Exactly. X: Let\'s get back to the HQ and tell Signas what we think. Axl: Okay. X and Axl teleport back to the HQ.
Signas: I see. So you want to become a Maverick Hunter? ZEX: Yes. Signas: Why? ZEX: This is what I live for sir, it\'s why I was made. Signas: You didn\'t know where you were made last time I asked you and now you know why you were made? ZEX: Well kind of. You see, when I was activated I automatically went for the Mavericks, it was impulse. I already knew what to do, and I knew who they were. The one thing I knew when I was activated was what a Maverick was. That was the only knowledge I had of this world, and I knew what I had to do...wipe out every last one of them. Signas: You’re a great Reploid, and I\'ve seen what you can do in battle, and I now feel that I can trust you, and that\'s why I\'m assigning you to the Special Ops Unit 700...as the Commander. ZEX: What?! Are you for real?! ZER0: Are you? Signas just smiles and then nods. ZEX: Thank you thank you thank you, thank you! ZER0: Really? Signas just keeps nodding.
ZER0: Wow. ZER0 begins to think: Wait, then that means...
ZER0: Skyler will be under his command. X and Axl enter the room. X: Commander Signas...uhh, what\'s going on? ZEX was still thanking Signas. Signas: Please ZEX, that will do. Besides it was my pleasure. Axl: Hay, what\'s going on? ZEX: I\'m a Maverick Hunter now!

ZEX: Isn\'t it great?! He said with joy in his voice. X: It is! So who\'s Unit are you in?!
ZEX: Mine! X: Uhh, huh? Axl: What he meant was who is your Commander. ZER0: Ohh, he knew what he meant. ZEX, why don\'t you explain. He said with a very sly tone to his voice. ZEX: I\'m the Commander of the 700th Unit! X: You mean the Special Ops Unit? ZEX: Yeah! He said, joy still filling his voice. Signas: ZEX, come with me, I\'d like to introduce you to some of the members of your Unit. ZEX: Cool! X: I\'ll come with you. Axl: Me too. ZER0: I\'ll catch up with you guys later, I have something important to take care of. X: Okay. Axl: See ya later, ZER0. ZEX: Later! ZER0: Later! ZER0 walks away, and then enters a training room. ???: You’re late!
ZER0: The teacher is never later, the student is merely early. ???: I still say you’re late. ZER0: Oh, I\'m sorry, I was off fighting Sigma! ???: You fought Sigma today? Skyler\'s eyes started to fill with tiers as she said. Skyler: You saw Die? ZEX: Yah. Skyler: When? ZEX: First about two day\'s ago, and then I just saw him again a few minutes ago. Skyler: Really? How is he? ZEX: Good from what I can tell. Skyler: I\'m glad. Their was a bit of pause after that, then. Skyler: So, you’re ZEX. ZEX: That I am. So, you’re my older Sister. Jin: Greetings Commander. Welcome to the HQ, Commander ZEX. ZEX: Thank you. Signas: That\'s all for now, you\'ll meat the rest of your Unit later. ZEX: Okay. Signas: For now, I think you should look around. Ryun, why don\'t you show our newest Hunter around the place. Ryun: Of course. Fallow me. X: I\'ll see you later ZEX. ZEX: Okay. Axl: See ya later ZEX. ZEX: Later. Ryun and ZEX walk away. Ryun: This is training room A3, this room is used for Saber training. And this room just across the hall is training room A2, this room is for hand-to-hand combat training. [Twenty minutes later] ZEX and Ryun are still looking around the HQ. Ryun: This is the cafeteria. Well, I think you can figure out what that room is for. ZEX: Huh? Skyler: I\'ll take it from here, Ryun. Ryun: Huh? Oh, hay Skyler. What\'s up? Skyler and ZEX step in to a room marked A3. ZEX: Huh? What are we doing in here? Isn\'t this the Saber training room? Skyler: Indeed it is. ZEX: I don\'t fallow. ZEX didn\'t get it. Why would Skyler take him into the Saber training room? Skyler: If you\'re really ZEX you\'ll be able to beat me. ZEX: What?! You brought me here to fight you?!
Skyler: Duh. Now lets get this started. ZEX: Forget it! I\'m not going to fight you! Skyler: You don\'t have a choice in the mater! Now get out your Saber and get ready! ZEX: Ha! Don\'t make me laugh! I\'ll take you on with no weapon at all. Skyler: Don\'t insult me! ZEX: Just bring it on. Skyler: Fine, have it your way! Hya! She ran at him with incredible speed, her Saber in her right hand ready to attack.
Skyler: Try this! ZEX: Nah. ZEX disappeared, and then appeared behind her. Skyler: What?! He ran away! ZEX: Wrong! She turned around, and there he was. ZEX: Hahahahahah. Too slow.

Skyler became infuriated, and then tried once again to slash ZEX.
Sykler: Hyya! He disappeared again , but this time he was in plane site, for he was standing on the handle of her Saber. Skyler: Wha...?! How did you...? Rrr... ZEX: Hahahaha! You done yet? He asked tauntingly. Skyler: Not yet. She pulled her Saber back and got ready for another attack. ZEX had all ready jumped off, but now he was tiered of this, so he made a fist and *BASH!* knocked her in to the wall on the other side of the 2000x2000 square foot long room. Skyler: Aaaahhhgg!!! She cried as she flew across the room.
ZEX: How bout now?! He yelled so she could hear him. Skyler came to her feet. Skyler: It\'s not over yet! ZEX: So be it! If you want to fight me so bad, I\'ll have no mercy! Skyler: Good. She said to herself, pleased with what he had said. ZEX: Your move! Skyler: Okay, here we go! Skyler ran at him as fast as she could at ZEX. ZEX: What?! It looked like she was gone. Skyler: Eat this! She appeared, and then she slashed him across his torso. ZEX: Aaaahhhgg!! He flew back in to the wall that was just five feel behind him. ZEX: You\'re fast. But so am I! It looked like he was gone. Skyler: Ah! Oh no you don\'t! She ran so fast that it looked like she turned invisible. She found him.
Skyler: Found ya! They were moving so fast that they couldn\'t be seen. ZEX: Come and get me, if you can! Skyler: Rrrr...PANKU! She ran at him, Saber in hand. ZEX: Not so fast. Right before she slashed him downward he dashed to his right and slashed her left side.

He turned his Saber around so that the tip would be aimed at her head when he held it up. ZEX: Hayya!!! He screamed as the Saber made it\'s decent towards her head. *Tioew* Skyler: Ahg...huh? She opened her eyes, and saw that the Saber was no more then six inches away from her face. Skyler: What? She was confused. ZEX grabbed his Saber, pulled it out of the floor and put it away. Skyler: He is ZEX. She got up and ran out the door to grab him. He was still there. Skyler: Wait! ZEX turned around and looked at her. Skyler: ZEX, don\'t leave. I\'m sorry, but I had to be sore.
ZEX: Hmph. Skyler: I\'m sorry, but I had to know it was you, and now I that it\'s you, and that you...(Should I say it)...love me. ZEX: Huh? Skyler: Don\'t you know what love is? ZEX: No. He was very confused. Skyler: Love is where you care more about a person’s life more than yours, and it would hurt you if you saw them die. ZEX: It would bring pain to my body? Skyler: Not fascicle pain. Now he was even more confused then before, ZEX only knew of fascicle pain. ZEX: What other kind of pain is their? Skyler: ZEX, if I were to die what would you do? ZEX: I...I don\'t know. Skyler: Picture it. He didn\'t understand why she wanted him to picture it, but he went along with it. Skyler: Close your eyes. So he did. Skyer: Now imagine that I\'m down on the ground in down town Gahara dieing. He started to imagine it, he still didn\'t understand why she wanted him to imagine something like this. But then, as he had his eyes closed imagining this, he felt…sad. The images were getting to him, he couldn’t take it any more. He opened his eyes.
ZEX: Haahg! He began to breathe heavily. Then his eyes started to fill up with tears at the thought of losing his older sister.
ZEX: What’s happening to me? Skyler: It’s called sadness.
ZEX: Why is it happening? Skyler: Because this is what you feel like when someone you love dies. ZEX: This is…love? This new type of pain that I feel is love? Skyler: No, the pain you feel is a result of a lack of love. Love makes you feel the opposite of how you feel now, what you’re feeling is sadness, but some times love can hurt, it hurts when it\'s taken away. That\'s why you feel this way, because you do care about me, that\'s why you didn\'t kill me when you had the chance. ZEX: I didn\'t kill you because you happen to be a Hunter, and you\'re in My Unit. Don\'t forget that. Skyler: Ahh! It felt like he just put his Saber threw her chest.

ZEX: I hope you understand Skyler that if you are to betray me I will be forced to kill you, I don\'t want to because you are a member of my Unit and you are my sister, but I will if I have to. His voice was still ice cold. Skyler: Aahg. There it was again, his Saber went threw her heart again. ZEX: I have to go. I\'ll see you tomorrow Skyler. Skyler: Very well...Commander. Her voice was now cold yet sad. ZEX looked back at her as he turned to walk away. ZEX: *Sigh*. Maybe...maybe I should have been a little easier on her. Ahr, it\'s to late now. He thought to himself. ZEX: Good. It\'s about time they showed up. Skyler and Trigger ran to them trying, to catch up. ZEX: Hurry up you two! They were almost there when *BOOM!* ???: Not so fast! Skyler: What?! Who the heck are you?! ???: I am BombMantis! ZEX: Hahaha! ZER0, X, Axl, and CommanderYin all start to stare at ZEX.
ZEX: What? It\'s a goofy name. X: Oh gees. They all turn their attention back to BombMantis. ZER0: What do want with us?! BombMantis: I want your blood, and I want your soul, and I want\'em both right now! BombMantis jumped from the small building that he was standing on and down to the ground, and right in-between Skyler and Trigger and the rest of the Units. BombMantis: Now you\'re mine! He said in a low screechy bug like voice. ZER0: Ha. Yah right! Just look at where you are! He looked around him and the predicament he was in. ZER0: You\'re surrounded. It was true, there were Maverick Hunters all around him. BombMantis: I might be surrounded, but I\'m not beat. ZEX: Hmm. ZEX started to wonder if this bug guy had something up his sleeve. ZEX: What are you up to? He asked him self, speaking under his breath. BombMantis: Mavericks, attack! ZER0: What?! ZEX: I knew it!
X: We all should of known he was up something. Stupid bug! Then at that moment hundreds of odd-looking Mavericks appeared.
Axl: They\'re...bugs. Jin: I don\'t know about you guys, but those are the biggest bugs I\'ve ever seen. ZER0: They\'re not bugs, they\'re Mechanoloids, they just look like bugs. ZEX: Skyler, are you okay?! Skyler: Yah, I\'m fine! Are you ready Trigger? Trigger: Yah! He said with enthusiasm. Skyler: Then lets do this! Her voice now filled with rage and an urge to attack. Trigger and Skyler drew their Sabers, and prepared to attack. ZEX: How bout it ZER0?! ZER0: Ha. All right, lets give\'em a hand! ZEX: All right! He said excited. They drew their Sabers. ZER0: Wait for their signal. ZEX just stood there, Saber in hand. ZER0 was ready to attack. A long breeze of wind was passing by. The moment was right for attacking. Trigger: NOW!!!

Then, simultaneously Skyler, ZER0, Trigger, and ZEX ran right at BombMantis, Sabers ready to strike. Trigger: Take this!! Trigger jumped up in to the air, lifted his Saber above his head, then brought down with incredible speed, and slashed BombMantis. BombMantis: Ahg!! ZER0: Eat this! ZER0 ran by at full speed and slashed him right across his gut. ZEX: My turn.
BombMantis: Wha...? Where’d he go?! ZEX had disappeared. ZEX: Hmph. Right here. He appeared behind him. ZEX had run so fast that he couldn\'t be seen. BombMantis turned around and then *Slash!* BombMantis: Grraaahhg!! ZEX slashed his face, and cut off half of his right outer tooth. Skyler: Now it\'s my turn! She ran right in front of him, then out of nowhere she was gone. BombMantis: She\'s...gone? BombMantis was confused. Skyler: Hahaha. She giggled at how slow this guy was in both body and brain. Skyler: Now you\'re mine. She said in a low almost angry tone of voice. *Tioew!* BombMantis: Ggrrrraaahhg!! Trigger: Grah. ZER0: Arg. ZEX: Ha. That\'s the way.
BombMantis: Aarg...grahg...grh...aaahhg...grrraahg! Skyler had stabbed him all the way threw. Skyler: I told you, you were mine. She removed the Saber from his back.
BombMantis: Gggrrrraaahhg!!! Rraahg! ZER0: Was that really necessary? Skyler: Huh? It worked didn\'t it. ZER0: Rrr. ZER0 was angry at her choice of attack. ZEX: No. Skyler: Huh? What do you mean? ZEX: Look. He pointed at the nearly dead BombMantis.
X: Eat this Mechanoloid! Axl: Bang!! Yin: Try this! [Explosions!] Unit14 Maverick Hunter: Eat this! [Explosion!] X: *Sigh* That should do it. Axl: Yah! He said in a cheerful voice. Yin: Oh my gosh. X: Huh? X and Axl turned around to see what Yin was looking at, when they did, they saw Skyler standing over the almost dead BombMantis. ZER0: You went to far Skyler!
ZEX: What?! I don\'t get it! She nearly killed him. ZER0: Exactly! ZEX was confused, he thought that was what they were suppose to do. ZEX: I don\'t understand, ZER0. Aren\'t we suppose to destroy the Maverick?! ZER0: Rrr...you just don\'t get it do you?!

ZER0: Grr...punk. ZEX: Panku. ZER0: I heard that! ZEX: So. What are you gonna do about it?! ZER0: Rrrrr! That\'s it, I\'ve had enough of this! You\'re mine punk! ZEX: Bring it on! ZER0 and ZEX ran each other. X: POWERSHOT!! [BOOM!] X shot right in-between them, and then they both stopped dead in their tracks and looked at X. X: That is quite enough out of you two! ZER0: Ahh. Ryun pointed northeast at a green and yellow moving object. ZEX: That\'s him all right. Come on Skyler, lets go! Skyler: Right behind you! ZEX and Skyler start to run to get him, but before they can get there he teleports back to where he came from. ZEX: Dang it! He got away! Skyler: Rrr. I should of finished him off when I had the chance. ZEX: Come on, let’s get back to the others. Skyler: Okay. Skyler and ZEX return to the others, with bad news. X: Well? ZEX: He got away. X: Arr. It\'s okay, we\'ll get him soon enough. Come on lets head south. ZEX: Okay. The fore Units begin to head south.
[Seven minutes later]
When the fore Units got to down town Metropolis the Mavericks had nearly destroyed everything. ZER0: Lets get to work!
0 Unit: Yes sir! X: Unit, attack! Yin: Come on! Axl: Eat this!!
ZEX: Follow after me! The Mavericks now realized that they were there, and turned around to fight. Unit 17: Hyaaaa!!
Unit 14: Rrraaaaa!!! Unit 0: Shaaaaa!! Unit 700: Shaaaa!!! As all fore Units run at the Mavericks yelling, a rad&gray Reploid appears. Red&gray Reploid: Hahaha. Long time no see brother. He said under his breath. Red&gray Reploid: Eat this!! The Reploid equips his Buster and begins to charge it.
Red&gray Reploid: Rrraaa!! ProtoShot!!! The Reploid then releases his shot. Mavericks: Aaaaahhhhggg!!!

The shot nearly destroys 40% of the Mavericks. [Explosions!] The Units watch in disbelieve as this unknown Reploid wipes out a large amount of the Mavericks.
ZER0: Unbelievable. ZER0 had never seen such power before aside from ZEX. X: P...P...
Proto-Man? He said with a bit of sadness in his voice. It had been years since the last time he had seen his brother. He thought he was dead it had been so long since he saw him.
Red&gray Reploid: Later! X: Is that...? It is?! Proto-Man\'s yellow scarf, or at least it looked like it. X: Brother!!
Red&gray Reploid: Huh? X: Proto-Man, wait! He started to walk away. X: Blues! He stopped dead in his tracks.
Red&gray Reploid: No-one\'s called me that for years. He turned around and looked down at X. Blues: You\'ve got one heck of a memory Rock! X: Ahh. It is him. He\'s the only one that knows me by that name. Blues: I\'ll see ya around! Then he teleported away. X: Blues, wait! It was too late, Blues was gone. ZEX: Was that...? No it couldn\'t be. Could it? Imposable. ZER0: Hay. What are you carrying on about? ZEX: That guy. He looked allot like this Reploid that helped me this one time. ZER0: Really? ZEX: Yah.
Skyler: Hay! Incase you didn\'t notice we still have Mavericks to take care of! ZEX: Oh, right. Unit 700, attack!!
Unit 700: Hyaaaa!! ZER0: Unit, attack! X: Unit 17, charge!!
Yin: Attack!!! Now that the Mavericks and Maverick Hunters are out of their daze they begin to battle. Now once again the fore Units run towards the Mavericks. The Mavericks prepare for battle. Skyler and ZEX charge in to the battlefield side by side, and begin to wipe out every Maverick in their way. X and his Unit do the same, with Axl close by. ZER0\'s Unit and Yin\'s Unit spread out, going in small teams of two. X: Eat this, Maverick! Axl: Try this! Both of them blasting away at the Mavericks, as dose the Unit. ZER0: Hayaaa!! Yin: Take this!! Both ZER0 and Yin slashing away at the enemy. Skyler: Shaaa!! ZEX: Hayyaa!! ZEX and Skyler scream as they destroy the Mavericks. ZEX: I\'ve had enough of this! Skyler! She looks over at him. ZEX: Ready?!

[Explosions!] Then in just seconds 50% were gone...70%...80%...all gone. [EXPLOSIONS!] ZER0: What the heck?! Axl: Umm...what just happened here? X: I...I don\'t know? Yin: Where are Skyler and ZEX?! They appear now that they have destroyed the Mavericks. Axl: There they are! Axl then pointed at ZEX and Skyler, who had just finished off the Mavericks. The Three Commanders and Axl run over to ZEX and Skyler. X: Hay. Where were you guys?
Axl: Yah. I looked everywhere for you two. Where were you? ZEX: We were off saving your hides. Axl: Huh? ZER0: I don\'t get it. Yin: Wha...? They were very confused. They thought they vanished. X: So that was you two slashing the Mavericks in half? Skyler: Yap. Axl: Wait, that was you guys?! I just thought they were defective. Yin: Imposable. We would have seen you.
X: Wrong, Yin. ZEX and Skyler can run faster then the eye can see. Yin: WHAT?! Are you serious?! X: Yah. Yin: Unbelievable. X: Come on, we have to keep moving. ZEX: Right. Unit700, follow me! ZER0: Move out!
[Twenty minutes later]
The fore Units come to a halt after walking for twenty minutes. ZEX: Huh? Why\'d we stop? Axl: Look. ZEX comes to the front where X, ZER0, Yin and Axl are standing. ZEX looks strait ahead, and sees that the town has been nearly destroyed. ZEX: Haahg. He was in shock at the sight of destruction that had taken place here. Yin: We\'re too late. The Mavericks already left. ZEX: Those poor people. They didn\'t deserve this. X: No...no, NO!!! Rrrr...hrr..ghrr! Freaking Mavericks!!! A rage had come over X, do to the near destruction of his home town. X: Why? WHY?! What did they ever do to deserve this?! ZEX: Nothing.

ZEX: But Mavericks don\'t need a reason, they do what they want to who they want, weather they deserve it or not. It was too late, the Mavericks had turned most of the buildings to rubble, burned a large amount of the house\'s to ash, and most of the people that lived there were dead, body’s everywhere, the Mavericks had no mercy on these people. ZEX: How could they? ZER0: Their ruthless, they have no soul, they have no heart. Ryun: Sad, but true. X: Come on, lets see if their are any survivors! ZER0: Right. Lets go. The fore Units head in to the nearly destroyed city to find survivors.
[Ten minutes later]
Axl: Okay, lets head out. He says addressing the other Hunters to his right. Axl: Doesn’t look like anyone\'s here. The three Hunters exit the building. ZEX: Find anyone? Axl: No.
ZEX: Neither did we. They said in a sad voice. Trigger: We can\'t give up that easily. We have to keep searching. ZEX: Right.
Axl: Yah. C\'mon, lets go. He said to the Hunters behind him.
ZEX: C\'mon you three, lets keep searching.
Ryun, Skyler and Trigger: Yes sir. ZER0 was alone, looking in an old burned house that was nearly gone. The walls in the front and on the right side looked like they had been blasted away, and the roof was no more then an honing compared to what it once was.
ZER0: Huh? What do we have here? It was a little girl hiding in the corner of the two remaining walls. She was frightened by ZER0\'s large figure, cause ZER0 stood at around six feet tall, where as she stood at no more the three feet, and along with his height he also had intimidating armor, which didn\'t help to make her feel safe. ZER0: It\'s okay, I\'m here to rescue you. My name is ZER0, what\'s yours? Little girl: My name is Yuri. ZER0: Okay Yuri, I need you to come with me. Is that okay? Yuri: No, I need to find my mom first. Do you know where she is? ZER0: No. But I can find her for you. What dose she look like? The little girl handed ZER0 a photo. Yuri: That\'s her. ZER0: I found her in busted down house about five hundred feet west of here. She gave me this. ZER0 handed the photo to X. ZER0: She said that it\'s her mother. I came to you because I think I saw you with a woman with a face like that one. X: Yah. She\'s right over there. I\'ll take you to her. ZEX: Huh? Skylers eyes had caught sight of a familiar face. ZEX: Skyler, what is it?! ZEX said in a concerned voice. Skyler: Sakura?! Lady: It is. She said to herself. Lady: Skyler! She said with a cheerful voice. She then walked over to her with her daughter by her side.

BombMantis: Good little Hunter. That\'s it, just a little closer. ZEX was infuriated with rage, and he was ready kill. BombMantis: Now. He said to himself, as he prepared for his attack. ZEX: Hrrraaaa!! ZEX was about to attack when out of nowhere.
BombMantis: Not so fast! [Slash!] ZEX went flying back. ZEX: Aaaahhhg!!! He screamed as he flew back to where he once was. Skyler: ZEX, are you okay?! She said concerned. ZEX: I\'ll be fine. ZEX roes to his feet and once again prepared for battle. Now ZER0 and X joined in on the fight. X: So it was you who did all this!
BombMantis: Indeed. ZER0: Why? What do you gain from all of this?
BombMantis: Revenge. He said in a low angry voice. ZEX: If it\'s revenge you want, then so be it. We\'ll just kick your can again! He said in an angry tone of voice. X: Rrr...you\'re going to pay for what you\'ve done!! His voice was filled with rage. Then he charged up his Buster and aimed it right at his head. BombMantis: I don\'t think so! He threw another sickle bomb, and then another, both of them direct hits to X. X: Aaaahhhgg!! X was blasted back in to an old warehouse that was poorly built, and on contact he went threw it. ZER0: X! He said concerned yet angry at the same time. ZER0: You\'re gonna pay for that! He said angrily. ZEX: ZER0, wait for it. ZER0: Rrr... ZEX: Skyler, Ryun, ZER0, wait for my signal. *Tiowsh* ZEX slashed him across his chest, the slash was powerful and fast enough that it put a gash so deep that you could see his gears. BombMantis: Grraaaahhg!!!

Ryun: Now? He asked his Commander. ZEX: Now. Ryun: Here it goes! His Orb was at full power, and he had the go ahead.
Ryun: Hunter Orb! He released the Orb at BombMantis, the Orb tracked him down and then [BOOM!] connected. Smoke went everywhere, it made it imposable to see. ZEX: I can\'t see a thing. Skyler: Neither can I, the smoke is too thick. The smoke was starting to clear. ZEX: WHAT?! BombMantis: Hahaha. You didn\'t think you could me that easily did you?! ZER0: No way! How did he survive that? He said addressing the other Hunters. Ryun: I don\'t know. That was my most powerful Orb! He said shocked.
BombMantis: Hahahahaha! Now you will die! Mantis started to glow with power.
Skyler: Now what?! BombMantis: Now you all die! Rrraaahh!! He screamed as he launched beams of energy at each of the Hunters. ZER0: Aaahhg!!! Skyler: Grrraah!!!
Ryun: Aaaahhhgg!! ZEX: Haaarrg!! They all flew back at least fifteen feet.
BombMantis: Hahaha! You\'ll never beat me! He said in a confident tone of voice. ZEX roes to his feet. ZEX: You haven\'t won yet! BombMantis: Keyword being yet! He said still sounding confident. ZEX: Hmph. Pretty confident for someone who\'s about to lose! BombMantis: We\'ll see. ZEX and BombMantis stood perfectly still, staring each other down. ZEX: Shaaa!! BombMantis: Graaa!! The two charged at each other, ZEX with his Saber ready to attack, BombMantis with his sickle arm ready to slash. Both leap at each other and then attack. They now have their backs to each other, standing completely still. ZEX: Arg! ZEX fell to the ground after the devastating attack. BombMantis turns around and looks at ZEX. BombMantis: Ha! So weak. It\'s hard to believe that you pusses the legendary energy, Evnium, the very energy that I have been searching for! Years I\'ve searched for it, and now, today I will feel its power! ZEX roes to his feet, and picked up his Saber. ZEX: Rrr...rrrr...arg. You attacked this town to get to me, didn\'t you? BombMantis: About time you figured that out! ZEX: You attacked my Unit, my allies, my friends! ZEX started to glow. ZEX: You attacked Jin, and almost killed him! And you attacked my sister. The glow was no longer just a glow, it had grown so bright now that BombMantis had to look away. ZEX touched the diamond on his forehead with his middle and index fingers. ZEX: DAIMOND OF POWER!! He then removed his fingers from the diamond, his fingers now had some type of entity on them. ZEX then touched the Saber with the entity. ZEX: Evnium, merge with the Saber!! Everything went white. BombMantis: Arhg! As the light faded a large blue object was becoming visible.
BombMantis: Wha...?! The large blue object was completely visible, and it looked about as tall as three-story building, but unfortunately for BombMantis the blue object was ZEX\'s Saber. ZEX: Okay, Mantis! You want to feel my power?! Well here it is!
BombMantis: NO! ZEX: SLASH OF THE HEVINS!! ZEX then used his three story long Saber, and made a direct hit to BombMantis. [EXPLOTION!] Smoke went everywhere, it was almost imposable to see. The Saber now returned to its original size as ZEX put it away. The other Hunters were starting to regain conches ness.
X: Ahh. What\'s going on? ZER0: Hay, what\'s with all this smoke? Jin: Beats me.
Axl: Hay, where are you guys?! Trigger: Where are you?! Axl: I\'m not sure! Skyler: Hold on, I think the smoke is clearing! It only took seconds for it to clear, then all the Hunters were back on there feet. ZEX: I did it. BombMantis was nonexistent, the attack was so powerful that there was nothing left. ZEX fell to his knees, and then collapsed on the ground. Skyler: ZEX! She screamed in concern as she ran over to help him.
Ryun: Commander! He yelled in a worried voice. Skyler knelt down by him.

Prof. Elis: Okay, lets get moving. Signas: What happened? He said slightly concerned.
Skyler: Hello CommanderSignas. Signas: What happened to him? Skyler: Allot. Would you give me a hand Commander? Signas: Of course. Signas and Skyler place one of ZEX\'s arms around Skyler, and then the other around Signas. Signas: Where to? Skyler: 38th floor, room D-5. Signas: The energy lab? Skyler: Yes. Prof. Elis needs to examine some things. Right Sakura? Prof. Elis: Yes, I do.
Signas: Very well. The fore now head to the 38th floor, room D-5. Signas: Alia, teleport us to the 38th floor. Alia: Yes sir. The fore get on to the teleportation device. Alia: Okay, you\'re all set. Signas: Good. Send us up Alia. Alia: Yes sir. [Twiow] The fore were teleported to the 38th floor. Skyler: We\'re here. Prof. Elis: Good. Signas: Follow me. The fore step in to a room marked D-5. Their\'s no need to get upset about this. He said calmly. Yang: Rrr... So who is it? Axl: Well, Signas has decided too recruit a new Hunter too be the new Commander of Unit14. Unit14 Hunter: What?! A new Hunter too be a Commander?! Ridiculous! He said angrily. Axl: I don\'t think it’s such a bad idea, in fact I think it\'s a good one! After all ZEX is a new recruit, and he wiped out BombMantis with a single attack! The others started to think it over, and the more they thought about it the more they came to like the idea. [Door opens] ZER0: Huh? Axl? Axl: Hay ZER0. He said with enthusiasm. ZER0: So, how\'s it going? Axl: Pretty good, but I\'m looking for Sakura Elis. Alia said she was in room D-5. ZER0: She is. What do you need? Axl: I brought her daughter Yuri here, I was just going too bring her to her. ZER0: Well unfortunately we haven\'t heard anything from her in the past twenty or thirty minutes. Axl: Where is she? ZER0: Right threw that door. He said as he pointed at the door marked D-5. Axl: What is she doing?
[Meanwhile in room D-5]
Prof. Elis: Okay Sakura, think. She said to herself. Prof. Elis: Is their any chance that DARKEYE did escape? Although he did release the energy, he put in to the Saber right away. So every thing should be okay...right? She said to herself unsure about what had happened, and what would happen. [Knock knock knock]

Axl: You\'ve been in here for hours, how could you not know anything yet?! He said angrily. Prof. Elis: Because, Axl, ZEX and his energy are very complicated! She said in a very loud angry voice. Axl: Wait...energy? (Now that I think about it, this is the energy lab) Just what is it that you\'re doing here? I mean, what could be so complicated about his energy? Prof. Elis: Have you ever heard of the legendary Evnium? Axl: WHAT?! Evnium?! That\'s what\'s inside him?! Prof. Elis: That\'s right. Dr. Orchid discovered it. Then he brought it to Prof. Halt and I too examine it. After we did
Dr. Orchid revealed to us what he had planed for the energy. He planed to use it in a Reploid, but it was too powerful too be contained in a crystal, we knew this because we tried it with Skyler, and then we tried too put it in a Reploid, but it was too much, we found that out with Die. About three years later we made ZEX, with Evnium in both his body and a diamond, and as you have seen it worked. Axl: So what do you plan too do? Prof. Elis: Run some tests, do some more scans, see if I figure out what\'s wrong. Axl: Please keep me informed.

Prof. Elis: I will. Axl: Thank you, Prof. Elis. Prof. Elis: No prob. [Door opens] Axl steps outside the energy lab. [Door closes] Signas steps over to Axl with a heliographic image projector information device, or a HIPID in his left hand. Signas: Axl. Axl: Yes sir? Signas: I need you too go to Terra. Axl: Terra? Why there? Signas: Here, take this. Signas handed him the HIPID. Signas: This will tell what your mission is, and why you have too go to Terra. Axl: Okay. Axl took the HIPID from his hand and saluted his superior. Signas: Good luck. Axl: Thank you sir. He said as he lowered his arm. Signas turned around and walked away. ZER0: So, where\'s the mission? Axl: Terra. ZER0: Woh, wait, Terra? That place is full of high-powered Reploids, and most of them are always in a bad mood. Axl: Yah, so I\'ve heard. He said as if too say: this sucks. ZER0: Ha. Well, good luck. Axl: Yah, thanks. I guess I\'ll see you when I get back. He said as he started too walk away. Axl: Oh, and let me know if their are any changes. ZER0: I will. Axl: Thanks. See ya. Axl then ran to get to his pod-ship. [Door opens] X steps out of room D-4, and walks over to ZER0. [Door closes] X: Where\'s he off too? He said looking at Axl.

Prof. Elis: Hmm...could it be that easy? She said as she reached for his ZEX-Saber. Prof. Elis: Maybe... She grabbed his ZEX-Saber and placed it under the cyber microscope, then she pressed a combination of buttons, and then waited for the scan too start and complete. [Cyber microscope: Now scanning.] Prof. Elis: Now for the hard part. (Waiting) [Ten minutes later in room D-5] Prof. Elis: *Sigh* [Cyber microscope: Scan complete.] Prof. Elis: Huh...well what do you know, I was right. A large amount of Evnium was trapped in his ZEX-Saber, their for he had a lack of energy in both his body and his diamond. So all I have too do is transfer the energy from his Saber back to his body and his diamond. Should be easy enough. She said talking to herself. Prof. Elis: Okay. (Lets get to work)
[Meanwhile in Axl\'s pod-ship]
Axl: Well, I guess I should get this thing fired up. Axl placed the HIPID in the slot in the small control panel in front of him.

He then activated it. [Tiozznewz] A small image then appeared, that looked like a planet. [HIPID: This is Terra, this is where you must go to find the Blaster/Saber master, Drayor. Too find Drayor you must be very careful, for Terra is a very dangerous planit, and the Reploids that live there are very powerful, and don\'t like outsiders. This is a hologram of Drayor.] The HIPID then projected an image of a large almost dragon looking figure. He looked about 5\'11, well built, and a Blaster in his left hand, and a Saber in the other. [HIPID: Drayor is a fire attribute, but can switch into a non-element attribute. The majority of Drayor\'s coloring is red, the minority is blue and white. Good luck.] The HIPID then turned off. [Control panel: Location downloaded.] Axl: Okay. Here we go. He said to himself as he pressed the turbo button on his control panel, and flew away. Axl: Woohoo!! Here I come!!
[Meanwhile back at the HQ]
Ryun: So, will that do it? Cinnamon: Yap, that\'ll do it.
Ryun: Good, then I\'ll be on my way. Cinnamon: Okay, I\'ll see you later. Ryun: Later. [Door opens] Ryun: Hay, ZER0. [Door closes] Ryun walked out of the door and stepped in front of ZER0. Ryun: Hay, any word. ZER0: No, not yet. Ryun looked down with a look on his face. Ryun: *Sigh* He just kept looking down with that same look. ZER0: Don\'t worry, I\'m sure he\'ll be fine. Ryun: Yah, I hope. He said with a sad tone of voice. ZER0: *Sigh* (I hope she knows what she\'s doing) Come on, ZEX, pull threw. He said under his breath so that Ryun couldn\'t hear him.
[Meanwhile in room D-5]
Prof. Elis: Almost done. She said to herself as she withdrew the energy from the Saber using a device of her own, and was proceeding too place the energy back into the diamond. Prof. Elis: Please work. She said with a hint of fear in her voice as she placed the energy back into the diamond. Prof. Elis: *Sigh* There. She said sounding relieved. Prof. Elis: Now too see if it worked. She then reactivated ZEX. ZEX then rose to an upright position. ZEX: Uhhg. What happened? He said sounding war out. Prof. Elis\'s face lit up with joy as she put both of her arms around him.

Prof. Elis: ZEX, you\'re alive! I was so afraid I might have made a mistake somewhere along the line that would have made this moment impossible. She said with joy as tiers ran down her face. She then let go of ZEX, and ran towards the door. [Door opens] Prof. Elis ran out of the door. [Door closes] Prof. Elis: He\'s alive! She said with joy. ZER0: What?! Really?! X: Are you serious?! They said with joy in their voices. Ryun ran towards the door. [Door opens] ZEX was now on his feet and looking for his Saber. Ryun\'s face lit up with joy as he looked at his Commander. Ryun: Commander! You\'re..alive. He said with joy. ZEX: Oh, hay Ryun. Say, have you seen my Saber? Ryun just stood there and looked at him with a joyful look upon his face. ZER0 and X ran into the room. ZER0: You pulled threw! See Ryun, I told you he\'d be okay. He said happily. X: Welcome back, ZEX. He said with a smile on his face. Prof. Elis now spotted Skyler passing by. Prof. Elis: Skyler!! Skyler turned her head to face Sakura.
Prof. Elis: Skyler, come quick! Skyler now ran towards her fearing what may have happened. Skyler: I\'m here. She said as she came to a halting stop. Prof. Elis: Look. She said pointing in the room. Skyler looked into the room, and saw ZEX talking it up with Ryun, X, and ZER0. Skyler: Brother! She said as she ran towards him. ZEX: Huh? Skyler. He said with joy. Skyler jumped at him wrapping both of her arms around him. Skyler then started too cry tiers of joy. ZEX: Hay. He then aimed her face at his, and looked her right in the eyes.
ZEX: Hay, it\'s okay. See? He said sincerely, showing her that there wasn\'t a scratch on him. ZEX: See? Every thing\'s okay. He said sincerely. Skyler: I was so worried that you might not make it. She said, tiers still running down her face. ZEX: There’s no need too worry anymore, I\'m here now, and I\'m just fine. He said with sincerity. Skyler then removed herself from ZEX, and looked him in the eyes, and punched him dead in the face. Skyler: Don\'t you ever do anything like that again!! You got it?! ZEX: Arg...that hurt. Skyler: Good. Maybe you\'ll think twice before you go and use up all of your energy and scare the living daylights out of me! ZEX: Maybe. Skyler: On the other hand...

Skyler: It is good too see that you\'re all right. She said in a happy tone. ZER0: I know this isn\'t usually my style, but don\'t you think we should, I don\'t know...celebrate or something? X: You\'re right, ZER0, we should celebrate. So, what do you say? He said addressing the others. Prof. Elis, Skyler, Ryun, ZEX: YAH!! X: Okay then, what do you propose we do? He said addressing the others. They all looked at each other turning one way too face one person then turning the other way too face the other person, smiling as they did it. Prof. Elis, Ryun, Skyler, ZEX: Earth. They all said somewhat loudly. ZER0: Earth? What\'s down there? Skyler, Prof. Elis: Hawaii. They said looking at each other with smiles on their faces, as if their was some kind of inside joke or something. ZEX: What do you say guys? Hawaii? ZER0, X, Ryun: Hawaii. They said with smiles on their faces. ZEX: Okay, then Hawaii it is. He said in a happy tone of voice. ZER0: Well then, we better go inform Alia. X: Right. Lets go. ZEX, ZER0, X, Ryun, Skyler, and Prof. Elis all rush to the main room.
[Moments later]
X, ZER0, ZEX, Ryun, Prof. Elis, and Skyler all enter the main room, and walk up to Alia. Alia: Huh? She said confused. X: Alia, we\'re going to Earth. Alia turned to X and the others. Alia: Earth? What ever...ZEX! She said shocked after seeing that he was there.
Alia: You\'re okay?! She said shocked. ZEX: Yap, and that\'s why we\'re getting out of here. Alia: Celebrating? She said with a bit of happiness in her voice. Skyler: Indeed. We\'re going to... Skyler, Prof. Elis: Hawaii!! They said with smiles on their faces. ZEX, ZER0, X, and Ryun all just kind of looked at them wondering if something happened on Earth in Hawaii, but then turned their attention back to Alia. Ryun: Right. Anyway, we need you too teleport us to Hawaii. Alia: No prob, just get on the teleportation device. [Door opens] Yuri now dashes threw the large automatic door, and runs towards her mother. Yuri: Mom! Prof. Elis: I\'m right here Yuri! Yuri stops right in front of Sakura. Yuri: Where are you going?
Prof. Elis: Hop on and find out. Yuri: Yah! She said with joy as she jumped on. Alia press\'s the last button, and they\'re gone.

[Tioez!] The seven have now arrived at Earth, in Hawaii, and are proceeding with their celebration. Skyler: Ahh. She said with relief. Prof. Elis: Brings back memories, doesn\'t it Sky. Skyler: Yah, it does. They said with a smile. ZEX and ZER0 just looked at them wondering what may have happened in the past. Yuri: Come on, let’s go! She said whining. Prof. Elis: We will, just hold on. She said in a happy tone of voice. X: So, what\'s first? Skyler: I vote the beach. Prof. Elis: Oh yah, beach. Yuri: Yah, beach! She said happily. Ryun: Fine by me. ZER0: Yah, I could go for that. ZEX: I\'m in. X: Same here. Prof. Elis: Good, then it\'s settled, we\'re going to the beach. She said in a happy tone of voice. The seven now head towards the beach for their celebration. Ryun: Umm...does anyone know which way to go too get to the beach. Skyler: Ryun, it\'s an island, there\'s a beach in every direction. She said pointing out his stupidity.
Ryun: Oh. He said intrigued. As the seven proceeded to the beach a stranger on the street caught X\'s eye. X: Huh? A large black figure across the rode looking right at him. X began too breath heavily, and his eyes widened, and then memories started too flash before his eyes of an old enemy of great power. X: God no...not him. He said panicky. X: Not Bass! A large semi truck passed by the figure, and then he was gone. X: He\'s...gone? He said confused. ZER0: Hay, X, are you coming or not?! He said from a far distance. X: Huh? Yah!
ZER0: Well then hurry it up! X: I\'m coming! He said as he ran towards them. ZER0: What was the hold up? He said as X slowed down next to him. X: I though I saw a ghost. ZER0: Huh? (Some thing tells me he doesn\'t mean a real ghost) X: It\'s nothing, really. ZER0: You can tell me X, we\'ve been partners for a long time now...so spill it. He said chidingly. X: I though I...saw Bass. He said still not believing what he was saying. ZER0: Bass? Who\'s that? He said confused.
X: Bass was once the most powerful Robot on Earth. ZER0: Wow. So what happened too him? ZEX: Are we there yet? Skyler: The next time you say that I\'m going too take your Saber and shove it where the sun don\'t shine!! She said with an angrily. ZEX: Hehehe. (Ahh, I enjoy doing that.) Yuri: We\'re here! She said happily.

Over time my writing style has changed vastly, and my ability to write has certainly improved So, here's the new first 5 pages of my fan-fic (input wanted).

A young man, who seemed to be in his 20’s, was walking up a gravel road on a grassy hill in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. He wore kaki pants, and a short-sleeved button-up kaki shirt. He had black work shoes on, with matching socks. His eyes were a deep green, and his medium-short hair was pitch black. He stood at about 6”1’, and was of a medium-thin build.
As he neared the top of the hill he saw what could have been a crater. Once at the top he saw that there, on the other side of the hill was a large crater where something had crashed. There were large shards of metal, and debris scattered about. The young Caucasian man’s eyes widened at the sight before him. “Could this be…?” He thought aloud, and then pulled a small black device out of his right pants pocket. He looked at the little screen on the device, which looked to be some kind of sonar screen. Near the center of the screen there was a blinking red dot. “So, this is the place?” He asked himself. Somewhere in this wreckage lies the entity I’ve been searching for. He thought to himself. “Time to get searching.” He said with a grin, and then started down the other side of the hill.

The man reached the bottom and started rummaging through the debris. He searched through the wreckage for a good half-hour, and then he stumbled upon what he believed to be what he was looking for. Underneath a large shard of steel, which looked like it could have been the outer wall to a dome of some kind, there was a sphere that almost looked like it could’ve been composed entirely out of some kind of silver water or liquid. Silver flames emanated from all around the orb, which was about half the size of a basketball. The young man reached into his kaki-colored pants, and pulled out another device quite similar in appearance to the device he had used earlier. However, on the small screen there were bar graphs, and all of them raced to the very top. “I don’t believe it.” He muttered as he stared at the screen in awe. Suddenly, the bar graphs vanished, and then all that remained on the screen was a message that read: Error. “Evnium.” He said after he slowly redirected his gaze to the silver sphere.

The young man had very carefully placed the sphere into a special container designed for carrying such things, and had brought it to the lab of one Professor David Halt, a past collage friend of his.

“You’re sure this is Evnium?” The follow, who looked to be in his late 20’s, asked the young man in kaki as he pressed various buttons on a large control panel. He had brown hair, about as long as the hair on the man in kaki, and was slightly tan. He stood at about 6-feet, only about an inch shorter than his companion, and was of a medium build.
“I’m quite sure, David.” The young man replied with a smile as he placed his hands on his hips.
“Oh yeah? What makes you so sure, Cole?” Prof. Halt asked without turning to the man behind him.
“It’s power readings were off the charts, literally.” The man in kaki replied.
“Orchid,” Prof. Halt started, but was cut short by Cole.
“Dr. Orchid.” The man in kaki said as he folded his arms, and grinned.
David closed his eyes while letting out a sigh. He turned around to face Dr. Orchid, his arms now folded as well. “Cole, I know you want to believe that Evnium is real, but the fact of the matter is that some things are simply myth. Take the god Mars for example. Sure, he’s in the records of time, and there are a good number of stories about him, but that doesn’t make him real. He’s a myth, Cole.” He said, being careful not to upset his friend.
“Did you just compare Evnium to a god?” Cole asked with a raised eyebrow. He seemed to have only heard so much of what David had said, and tuned out everything else.
“Were you even really listening to me?” Prof. Halt asked, seeming a little angry. He unfolded his arms, and placed his right hand on his hip as he waited for Dr. Orchid to reply.
“Yes, I was listening, but no matter what anyone says I still know that Evnium is real.” Dr. Orchid answered.
“Oh? How do you plan on proving it?” David asked as he raised an eyebrow.
“With your help, of course.” Cole said with a broad grin.
“Why did I even ask?” David thought aloud with his head hung low as he closed his eyes and shook his head a little.
“Don’t worry!” Cole said with a faint chuckle in his voice as he placed a hand on Prof. Halt’s shoulder. “I’ll do all the hard stuff.”
“For some reason I think it’s going to take more than just us to do this.” David said as he raised his head, and looked at Cole.
“How hard can it be?” Dr. Orchid asked with a small smile.
“Harder than you might think.” Said David. “There all kinds of things that can go wrong with an experiment like this.” He stated. “Do you realize just how dangerous energy testing can be?” David was getting just a bit worked up, but he had good reason for it. He knew very well how unsafe energy tests could be; he had lost a co-worker in one a couple years back.
“Hey, this was my major back in collage—I know what I’m doing.” Cole said with a reassuring grin.
“Just the same, I’m calling Ellis.” David said as he moved toward another large computer only a few feet to his right. He quickly dialed a series of numbers on a number-pad, and then hit the dial button. After a couple rings an image came up on the large 52-inch screen before him. The image showed a lovely young woman with thick, silky, shoulder-length blonde hair, and blue eyes. She appeared to be mostly white, but seemed to have some Asian in her as well.
“Hey David. What’s going on?” She asked commonly.
“I need some help with something. Think you could drop by?” Halt replied.
“Sure. I’ll be there in just a couple minutes.” She said with a small grin.
“Thanks. I’ll see ya.” David said before pressing a small red button, which ended the call.

Cole stared at the screen, but made sure to stay out of view. “So, you’re still in touch with Sakura, I see.” He said to David.
“Yeah.” Prof. Halt said as he turned around to face Dr. Orchid. “We actually worked together for a little while, but after an foreseen incident I left the company.” He added, being a bit vague on purpose.
Cole simply nodded a little, and then grabbed a desk chair that was only a few feet behind him. He sat down in the chair, and then looked over to the metal pillar-like object that the silver sphere was on.
For the next couple minutes there was only silence until something that sounded like a voice could faintly be heard throughout the lab.

“Did you say something?” Cole asked, seeming a little confused as he turned to David.
“No. I was actually going to ask you the same thing.” Prof. Halt replied with an expression of bewilderment on his face.
Again a voice of some kind was heard all through the large lab, but neither Halt nor Orchid had uttered a single word. Once more the voice sounded through the lab, and then the two men turned to face the silver sphere of energy. Could the voice really have been coming from the energy? Was the energy alive somehow? If both things were true, than just what kind of being was it really, and what was it saying?

*Ding-dong* The doorbell from upstairs rang loudly, loud enough to be heard downstairs in the lab.

The two men were a little startled by the sound, but quickly gathered themselves. Prof. Halt walked over to the staircase that was about 10-feet behind the pillar-like object that the energy sat on, which was in the center of the room, and quickly made his way up to the ground level. He pressed a small silver button to the right of the metallic door, and the door slid all the way up making way for the woman who stood before David to enter.
“So, what’s going on?” Sakura asked as she slipped her hands into the pockets of her blue jeans. She was a very attractive young woman, seeming to be just a little younger than David, probably around Cole’s age. She was slender, and stood at only around five-foot three. She had on a short-sleeved green T-Shirt, white sneakers, and slim-fit blue jeans.
David said nothing; he simply nodded toward the staircase that led down to the lab.
Sakura looked a little uneasy, but entered anyway. The door came down behind her automatically, and then she and Prof. Halt walked down to the lab. I have a bad feeling about this. She thought to herself.

Cole rose up from his chair when he saw the two enter, and his eyes immediately locked onto Sakura. She looks as beautiful as ever. He said to himself mentally.
Sakura looked around a bit, wondering exactly what it was that David needed her for. However, once her eyes fell upon an ever so familiar face all questions exited her mind, and then there was only him. She froze only a few feet pass the stairs, and simply stared at Cole.
“Sakura, you remember Cole Orchid, right?” David asked as he made his way over to Cole.
“Yeah.” Sakura said with a smile. “I remember.” She added.
“Hey.” Dr. Orchid said with a grin as he looked at Sakura.
“Hi.” She responded. Sakura wasn’t sure why, but when she laid eyes on Cole she felt like she was back in collage. Maybe it was because she hadn’t seen him since then, or maybe it was just the way he always made her feel. Whenever she was with him he always made her feel at ease, happy, and like she was the only woman in the world, perhaps just the sight of him had brought back memories, and with those memories the same feelings of the past. Whatever it was, it didn’t matter, she was just glad to see him again.
“Well, Cole, why don’t you tell Prof. Ellis why she’s here?” David said after wheeling the desk chair Cole had been sitting in over to the right a bit, and then sat down.
“We’re doing a little experiment.” Said Cole. “Yesterday, I found this,” he said as he walked over to the pillar-like object and pointed to the silver sphere, “amongst some wreckage in Cal-mare.”
