On another note, why do all the sith have \"Darth\" in front of their name? Darth Maul, Darth Tyranus, Darth Sidious and Darth Vader

Ah. Vader probably comes from the German, Vater. (I know it\'s in a made up language by George Lucas, but who says it\'s not based on a real language?)

A little bit of trivia: did you know that Vater\'s name used to be Anakin Starkiller, but for some reason, George Lucas changed it to Skywalker at the last minute.

Will I REALLY need to see episode II to go see III??

If you want to see Anakin kill lots of people, maybe.

I hate to say it, but I really would have to suggest seeing the second before seeing III. Unless you\'re just going to see the action, or prove a point, or pick up chicks in the theater.

But then again... probably the only things that wouldn\'t make a lot of sense would be Count Dooku and the Padme-Anakin relationship, really. As long as you basically know what happened in Ep. II.

To put an end to the argument once and for all, and to restate what has been said in one closing summary.....
I saw a bootleg edition five minutes ago, and after being sliced by Anakin, Windu\'s hand was in fact severed, his lightsaber dropping out of the window. =P

But that thing with \"Dark Father\" is really cool. I wonder what Maul, Tyranus, and Sidious mean. Well, Maul isn\'t that hard to figure out.

awesome movie, grevious is awesome, just wished they had a bit more of him. but i didn\'t like his voice or the drama they gave him. he\'s suppose to be an andriod!!! make him a little less dramatic, anyways, he sounded like a villian from power rngers or something, pathetic. less drama, more action.
other than that, i loved the movie

they killed plo-koon, most of you probably don\'t even know him, but h was one of my favorite. i can\'t believe that throught all the other movies, the jedi were able to block like 50 shots in one sweep, but on the surprise they couldn\'t block 10, even when some noticed exactly what was about to happen..... well at least one of them did. the blad guy with the long head *sigh* poor jedi.

anyways, i just saw the movie not to long ago, maces hand gets chopped off, ( i remember cause some black guy yelled mother ****er when mace died in the theater) and hand flys out the window, the light saber being cut in two i think was grevious vs. obi-wan, cause i remember obi-wan fist fighting grevious. metal vs flesh, hmm, doesn\'t seem very smart now that i say it.

Really? I don\'t know Dutch. However, I have heard that Dutch is similar to German so that checks out!

BTW, Grievous is NOT meant to be an android, he was meant to be once human but bits got replaced with robot. (He still has an eyeball and the vital organs in his chest [which is what Obi-Wan shoots]). Sound faliliar? Vader story again. Are they running out of material. *Looks at Eps I and II*. of course they are....-_-

isn\'t that an android? androids are part human part robot..... i could of sworn what you said, just backed up what i said.

Cyborgs = part human, part robot.

Androids = full robot that resembles humans.

arg, i got the two mixed up. i was using andriod 18 and 19 from dbz as an example in my mind. should of thought of cyborg 009, even though that sucked.... but yea, cartoons do help

Actually Doc, Jar Jar lives. Which is a shame.

I personally like Jar Jar, but I haven\'t seen the first movie (and doubt I ever will) so I didn\'t see him at his supposed most annoying.

And

Supposedly he dies in Episode 6 when Leia\'s home planet explodes. =P (This from the mouth of George Lucas. I have to verify the authenicity of this.)

Doubtful. After all, you hear his voice at the end of RotJ.

I personaly thought the movie was ok, didn\'t beat my favorite scene (the battle of Hoth), but was pretty good I didn\'t like the whole burning alive thing because it creates a huge plot hole, why wasn\'t Ani\'s skin burnt in Episode 6 when Luke removed his helmet?

Also bit of Sith facts, the Sith Lords didn\'t always use Darth, there was Exar Kun, Ajunta Pall, Naga Sadow, etc., Darth was actualy a word adopted later for the two ultimate ruling Sith of the era when all were united, the only Sith, all others were merely Dark Jedi.

it was. If someone was burned that much, their skin won\'t stay black forever. it goes sort of wrinkally and scarred and lookes kinda like in ep VI. Besides, since when is what someone\'s skin looks like a plothole?

It\'s true. Besides, he\'s had about 30 years to heal those burns. There has to be some improvement.

I don\'t really remember seeing scars on Vader in Episode 6, just wrinkly and pale *goes to watch again*

With futuristic technology like lightsabres and blasters, don\'t you think it\'s possible that they would have invented something to remove scars? Besides, it\'s only a film! Does it really matter!?
