Sundays, first day of the week, but many consider it the last day, the day of rest. And unless your sleeping, rest means sitting on your ass for the entire 16 hours your up. I get up, go to church at the buttcrack of dawn (depends if I go or not) come home, sit. Sit and think about monday. \"Man, I don\'t get to stay up tonight\" \"I\'ve gotta take that final tommorow..\" \"I have to do my homework...I\'m not doing anything else...but...I\'m gonna wait just a LITTLE more...\"

etc etc, we\'ve all felt this way before, right?

Every day seems the same to me, so I guess it doesn\'t matter. (I\'m out of school and between jobs) So I like Sundays because I actually go somewhere after church, unlike every other day when I stay home. So, I actually like Sundays. (That, and my idea of sleeping in is staying in bed until nine in the morning XD)

I know what you mean, ELBURITO. Sundays are not as restful as people (and religion) make them out to be. It almost seems like you almost have to do everything on Sundays. No, people wouldn\'t get you to do stuff on Saturday, or during the week. No, they have to make you get up early, or stop playing a game one room away from the final boss just to do some minor task that they probably could have done anyways.

And church is all well and good. But the fact is, to me all the sermons and scriptures, though I haven\'t read them all, seem like common sense, or something you can figure out with a little thought. I\'m not against going to church, but I think people should get more of a choice, rather than allowing their parents to force them into going. I might actually decide to go on my own if I wasn\'t being forced every week.

Yes, it should definitely be a choice. If you\'re being raised in a Christian family, you should be taken until a certain age, when you\'re old enough to decide for yourself.

About the sermons... If you\'ve ever had a guilty conscience, listening to a sermon makes those things easier to confess sometimes. Plus, church is supposed to be their for fellowship, you know? :D

Let\'s leave it be.
Sundays are lame, becuase in my state the temps are already getting into the 100s so you just sit around.
