I realize I should probably leave the topic alone, but...
I\'m kinda taking a bit of offense here. Suddenly, the ones of us interested in Megaman are babies, and less of people?

No. You misunderstood, it\'s not comparing Megaman fans to babies, not at all...
I\'m saying everyone moves on, which is natural.

Edit: and no, you\'re not less of a person, it\'s just a statement in general, not directed towards megaman fans at all.

I have nothing against megaman, I think it\'s original and interesting, I\'m just not a fan anymore, so sue me.

Some people stay at some forums, even if they\'re not fans anymore, because of the friends they make there. Yes there\'s messenger, but some people might not have it, or some people might be too lazy to get one and use the reason \"It already exists, so why not use it\".

But of course, Elburito probably has a different reason. I\'m just pointing out some common reasons I see elsewhere. ^^;

I\'m honestly continously asking that \"why are you staying here\" question, because no one is answering it. I just don\'t see any logic in staying at a Megaman message board to talk about everything BUT Megaman.

Yes, you have a good point, but no, I do not care if the board is in a crappy condition or not (In my opinion, it\'s not, I cleared that up a while back)

I\'m staying here for the intellectual conversations, even for the downright retarded threads, sometimes with debate, and a lot of the times, humor.

You\'re right, it doesn\'t have a great logic behind it, but it is definatley justified. People don\'t go to a coffee house to discuss coffee. I understand it\'s a megaman related thread, and like I said before megaman originally drew me in.
Let me rephrase myself:::

It\'s not that I have no interest in megaman anymore

It\'s that don\'t play megaman anymore, I\'m not up-to-date and I simply find myself buying other things than video games.

That should clear things up a little more now.

I guess I DO have an interest then, I just don\'t discuss it because my lack in knowledge of it.
I mean, I wouldn\'t try to act like I know rocket science in front of a Nasa engineer.

Sometimes there isn\'t actually that much to say about Megaman. One can only discuss Megaman within their interest so much before one runs out of material. Plus, there isn\'t much to talk about without a release in a series that one is interested in. I think this makes it more difficult for some people here to enjoy discussion about Megaman if they\'re not fans of the newer series that have taken the spotlight.

However, there are people here that have simply outgrown Megaman.

Sorry, I get it now. Just, having an interest in Megaman myself and being here primarily for that reason...

But that\'s okay. I don\'t feel like anyone who came here with MM in interest should have to leave just because their tastes changed.

Alright Burrito, you make sense now. I just didn\'t get it..

Like say, if I had joined up to a Zero-only board a while back...I definitely would\'ve left by now, because I have no interest in that character and never discuss him. I draw him, but don\'t discuss him. I was part of an RPG board for a little bit too, but left after my interests declined even though it was quite a nice board.

But since you still have interest that makes sense. Even though I\'ll never admit it I still have interest in Megaman as well. Sure, I don\'t know who the hell Axl is or what the Hyena guys weapon does, but I\'ll still discuss.

And yes Necro, I understand that some have nothing to discuss about Megaman, and that\'s fine. But as long as they\'re still interested in the subject partially...

Seriously, if the chit chat forums were gone and we were just left with Megaman, how many of you would stay?

Well why not every body dose something for a reason,you joined because you like Megaman right?I did too but even if that person isnt a fan then maybe they are here to post,socialize,and such and thats all that matters really,just as long as the person is still posting then they\'re considered as a member to the end.
