Lately I\'ve been looking at new DS games and this one has really got my attention it\'s called Nanostray and I swear the creators of this game have really outdone themselves

DS graphics? Not great? Nay, the only graphics that aren\'t great when they are ports of N64 games. The graphics for the water at the beginning of Mario 64 DS. However, during the game, they\'re not as good.

Wow..that looks quite nice. I do admit that the graphics on the PSP (or whatever it\'s called) look alot better than the DS\'s..but they even look better than the Playstation 2\'s in some aspects.

I just think the PSP released with games that were worked on in the graphics department..plus one was a racing game. Racing games usually look very good regardless. The DS released with games that didn\'t look as good, or were ports..

true it released with ports but almost every game that is going to come out in the next year look GREAT! I mean they are FAR more creative than most PSP games...I mean the PSP looks really good the graphics are far a head of the DS, but as we all know that does not make a good game.

I mean do you want to buy a handheld pay around 3oo bucks for it and then go out a buy a game for that handheld say 40 or 50 bucks, when you could get the same game and not spend the $300 extra and just play it on a console? OR do you want to get a totally innovative handled for $150 and play all new games 20 or 30 dollars that are made for the fun factor and still look great?

The choice is totally up to you but I honestly don\'t have the cash to spend like that. And I for one would much rather play a perfectly made so called “kiddy” game on a DS than a boring uninspired PSP sports game.

mmmm if you want to try this game, try out Axelay on SNES or Iridion I and Iridion II on GBA (same creators).

(but in my opinion i didn\'t like the play style of these games :lol:;; i\'m more of a Gradius/R-Type person..)

I have recently developed a regained love for shooters. I picked up Nanostray the day I first saw it, mainly because Ive had a DS since xmas and still no DS games. I have to say, its an awesome game. Very fun multiplayer too. A few days after i got Nanostray, I picked up Iridion II, also great. If you like shooters and dont mind the vertical ones, this is definitely the best one to be released recently.
