I think Resident Evil is the best series of games ever created. Survival horrors are the shit, and RE sits atop all the rest. I own RE and RE0, and have beaten them both. I\'ve also played and beaten RE4, and ordered RE2 from ebay.

so, what do you people think of the series?

I\'ve only seen the movies so I wouldn\'t know anything about lvls and such but I do know that the story was good,my friend showed me what it was.

I like Res E, it\'s a good series. I thought 2 and 3 were damned entertaining, haven\'t gotten to play 4 yet.

Res E 1 was godawful though...

Ive played RE 4 and beaten it but the other ones i havent played yet the next one i want to play is outbreack or outbreak file #2.

I thought RE1 was amazing. oh well. It\'s to the eye of the beholder, i guess.

.....and i\'ve heard that the outbreaks are the worst in the series. Of course, i\'d still play them.

I played RE1 on the GC and I loved it XD. I still need to finish RE0 and get my hands on RE4 <<;

I love survival horror, and I\'m pretty partial to Silent Hill and Resident Evil. That being said, I\'ve heard it said that Resident Evil 4 was the best game of the year- and I\'m prone to believe it. For those of you who haven\'t played it, you need to. It rocks. End of story. XD I did like all the others, too, although going back to them after playing the newer ones would be hard.

I personally love the series...ever since I saw it on the TV advertising the first one, I always wanted to play it, and when I did...well, to be honest, I shit my pants, but that\'s besides the point.

The series is based on something that COULD happen...so that makes it all the more enjoyable and believeable.

On a side note, has anyone noticed that the Beta for RE2 had some other biker chick in it? Apparently they never intended to have Claire Redfield join in the action...which brings up the question I must ask...who is that crazy woman? And would she have starred in Code Veronica?

Also: Break, you crazy. Code Veronica was awesome. One of the best out of the series if you ask me...RE4 was also killer. I loved it, it provided for a much better zombie-killing spree (even if they\'re really not zombies, peh). But I do agree about RE Survivor...that game should have never made it out of beta testing.

They DO however have this nifty RE:CV arcade machine that you move with a gun sticking out of it. That\'s kind of amusing, except for the fact that they have Nemesis in there. That\'s kind of...well, odd. >.O

The game was really not made by Capcom, but by M4 Limited or Virgin Interactive.

Believe it or not, Capcom was going to make Resident Evil 1 for the Game Boy Color. I still remember the screen shots I saw. The game was canceled, but still... I really want to know how they would have pulled it off...
