id have to go with battlechips because sure the darkchips have amazing power but the consquences are to great (they ruined my game once)

DarkChips are alluring. If only they didn\'t come with the consequence of corrupting your soul and lowering your health. But I\'ve always just used Battle Chips. I haven\'t even tried Chaos Unison yet. I don\'t think I ever will either, unless I get very bored.

I\'m sort of a middle-man on this topic. In BN4, I NEVER used a darkchip, to keep away from the consequences, HOWEVER, I constantly use the \"DarkWide\" chip in BN5, simply for the Chaos Toad unison, which helps ALOT if you can master the timing, plus you have no sacrifices to using darkchips for Chaos Souls....So, even for me.

dark chips are for fools who cannot win a battle with their own power...Battle chips also prove worthless to me at times I would stick to killing my opponent with my own weapon.

If they didn\'t have the permanent HP loss from using dark chips, you could just colour me black and call me a Nebula agent because I\'d be all over dark chips like bees on honey.

...Or nasty purple-coloured jelly on the undernet.

Anyways, chaos unison kicks ridiculous amounts of ass. With an area grab regular chip and chaos unison with darkdrill... Just check out these deletion times (note: all times are for the omega versions of these navis):

The rest of the times are done without dark chips and they range from 11:23 to 29:03. Darkdrill does like... 800 non-flinching damage if you pin them down.

Well, I dont have bn5, but in bn4, I NEVER used a dark chip... except for the enevitable one against shademan. Anyway, I fought bass without using a dark chip. That was HARD!!! I guess they expect you to fall into the darkness and go with power so make bass rediculously hard.

i think its obvios what most people use (and save) standard chips are better

Dark Souls combined with Soul Unison, Choas Unison!
YEP! They ARE better then Darkchips, plus you don\'t lose HP.
Too bad that the charged Buster of mine while in CU, always summons a DarkSoul on them enemies side...
Though it still was easy to beat 3 of the most powerfull virusses WITH the DS!

i would choose the normal chips. i hate the darkside of the net (undernet, www-area, nebula-area, gospel-area(if it exists i don\'t have mmbn 2))

I believe you mean charge with B button.

Pocket\'s method works well for alot of people who have difficulty with CU charge timing. If you choose to just rough it and learn the timing, your finger literally flies off the B button once you hear the \'ziding\' noise.

Like i said i don\'t use much chips of any kind...I find them to be a weakness...One who relies on chips will die quicker than one who uses his buster...Take all there chips away and have them fight...The one who never uses chips will win...But i am a dark soul that is for sure...I just don\'t use chips...I eat them...Mwahahahaha!!!

Now that they have ChaosUnisons where you can use the DarkChip Ability without any health diminish. But otherwise, I am SO with the DarkChips. I got SO corrupted in MMBN4.

I would only use a Dark Chip in the most important battle in the game.

If it weren\'t for that one tiny consequence of losing an Health Point, SURE! I would as hell be using them. My bud D.J. used a Dark Chip SEVEN times. When I fight his Junkman data on the free tornement, I saw that puny thing fire a F#%@ing DARK CANNON! Yes, it was black and purple. But sadly he could never use a soul unison again.:( Only if he has gotten full syncro he could use one. Yes, the Dark Side has big consequences other than 1 HP loss, but the strength of it could kill many. Like in the scenario where Protoman used a dark chip to kill 500 mafia navis to save his life. The Dark Side will spit in the good guys faces laugh. But abusing this will cause is major consequences.:eek: Like my friend D.J. Oh, I have forgotten something. I would choose the light side.

Well, I honestly prefer Chaos Unison, especially with Numbersoul. It allows a combo that does 2520 damage in one shot...........I won\'t explain, and you can\'t make me.
That and ChaosKnight, Darkdrill owns up anything.

Try chaos Naplam soul with a Dun Del Sol chip! I killed Footman/Gridman SP with it! 1000-0! in an instant because Gun Del Sol removes flinching!

Hate to brag but I\'ve killed Nebby in one turn, and the Chaos Souls should be a common element of gameplay for every good player. I think that\'s most of the reason why only 3 Darkchips are allowed in your folder. The more you use it, the more powerful you become with it (timing). Kind of like the exact opposite of using Darkchips by themselves.

i dont like using darchips but chaos soul unison is powerful and wont permanantly hurt you
