I bought it a while back. It is definitely one of the most fun tactic RPGs on the GBA. I think I got to the last mission, but I still need to do a lot of jobs.

BTW, keep in mind that the Advance part is important to keep on FFTA becuase \"Final Fantasy Tactics\" was an older game for another console (PS, maybe?).

I\'ve got the game, really good to pass the time on those hefty car trips. I really hate having inadequate characters who probably only gain levels by laying low and healing characters.

At some point I thought it was mildly fun. But if you see past the title Final Fantasy (Tactics), which seems to make people feel the game is better than it is, the story is mediocre, and the gameplay is \'meh\' and repetitive. Regarding the former, it seems half-heartedly thrown into the mix in light of the multitude of missions, not a big focus; Like putting story into a racing game, if you will.

It pales in comparison to Fire Emblem and other Strategy-RPG games on the GBA (Tactics Ogre comes to mind). And it\'s just. Too. Easy. Hence, the \'tactics\' part of the title is misleading.

Looking at it, for me there\'s really only an attraction towards your units\' customizability.

I just got it! It\'s FANTASTIC! *coughcough*

Well, it should be, considering the title is \'Final Fantasy Tactics (Final Fantastic Tactics, )
Them characters look good, the story is a little strange, but in all, it\'s a great game.

I actually prefered the FFT on PS1. The GBA version was just too lame for me...must be those little kids.

I haven\'t played FFT (PS), but I\'ve heard a ton of good things about it.

I have played FFTA, and I enjoy it a LOT.

I hate the story, and am currently trying to conjure up an \"alternate story\" that starts like the game but goes they way I want it to go. The one redeeming aspect of the plot was Ritz\'s personality. I love Ritz\'s \"set things straight\" personality. Too bad they had to butcher everything later in the story. (Hence, my urge to create an alternate plot.)

However, the gameplay blows a lot of things out of the water--just make sure you have pencil and paper nearby to keep track of all your characters. I did that, and I seem to have a knack for micromanaging them--optimizing who learns what skills how fast and when. It\'s a lot of fun to watch your characters gain skills as you go around having fun battling other clans.

Oh yeah, and the graphics kicked ass. The graphics were excellent (except for Totema attacks), and were perfect for the game.

And Hitoshi Sakimoto\'s music is on par with Uematsu\'s.

IF ONLY THERE WERE AN ONLINE MMORPG FFT/FFTA VERSION......

I forgot to mention that I have the gameboy advance game of it. This IS a fun game, I am seriously addicted to it. I wont play anything else, its even got me off of my favorite game .hack//Quarentine. This sitinks that I cant play anything else until it is done.
