After defeating the first four Robot Masters in Megaman 7, while walking through the Robot Museum, I saw the broken capsule which I assume to be the one that Gutsman was being held in.

But!

Upon entering the isolated room where the Clown robot battles you, I noticed two other broken capsules in the background! Could that explain the appearance of Cutman and Woodman in the Sega version of Megaman 8?

Well, yes, I believe Gutsman was in the first. I was not aware of the appearances in MM8, seeing as I never had the Sega version. However, I do recall the broken capsules. I actually had a theory myself, but it\'s lost on me because I haven\'t played my anniversary collection since sometime last year.

Hrmm... I\'m sure there\'s a megaman supergenious who knows the answer here somewhere. It\'s a pretty popular question.

As for the pods maybe they could because they put secrets in the game backgrounds that you need to find your self sometimes
