Who is the Time Devourer? When Lavos was defeated at the end of Chrono Trigger, the version that surfaced in 1999 was thrown outside of time. This version of Lavos began to merge with Schala, who also was thrown out of time. Though Serge and the heroes from Chrono Cross were able to stop him before he was fully formed, had he managed to finish forming, his mere existance would have destroyed both time and existance.

Serge would be on my time--even though he\'s not evil, I guess. Maybe Dark Serge would work--because he\'s the only person--barring Lynx in Serge\'s body (Dark Serge)--who can even gain access to the Darkness Beyond Time where the Devourer is, and normal Lavos would also be on my team because he spends over 65,000,000 years underground absorbing DNA from all life on the planet before surfacing to fight. Meaning he would have integrated whatever useful traits there were for your genetic code, as well as the code of everything that ever walked upon the planet.

Ergo, I win.
