Spider is Redips (how obvious - reverse the spelling) and that he not only strung the hunters along, but he also, like, impersonated Sigma by being the surprise final boss,

I hate him.

Oh, Web Spider is an arse, but I can beat him with the X-buster alone. Not too bad.

You beat me to it! When I first saw this thread I truly thought it was about Web Spider. I do like him, because he freed himself of the tyranical Maverick Hunters and helped to defend Repliforce.

As for the Spider in Command Mission, I don't know how to block a spoiler in my post so I'll just say 'IT DEPENDS'. I liked Spider when I first met him. At least he did his own thing instead of just being a Hunter. He seemed independant and maybe rebelious so he was kinda cool.

I've always wondered if Spider was a real person (reploid) when you first meet him, but then he dies in that explosion and Redips decides to impersonate him afterwards. Aile seemed to know Spider so he must have been a real reploid right? If that's the case then I like Spider but I still hate Redips for ruining everything for the Liberion guys.
