I think you would be a great mod Sage, then Mega X or morphman.:D But morph would be a little harsh:cry: and meag X said he does not want to be a mod.

Spider, quit freaking out. Everybody was a newbie at some point, but it\'s the people that get over that phase that get the respect of the other board members.

Morph isn\'t a noob anymore. Therefore, there\'s no reason to treat him like one. Dang man, even Doc had a hard time hitting the Shift key and the others all at once when he was 8 years old and had tiny hands... I assume. Maybe Doc was just born with a USB jack in his brain.:lol:

Well don\'t get me wrong, if the Doc came up to me tomorrow and asked me to be a mod, I\'d take up the post. But otherwise you won\'t see me going out of my way for the power. It\'s not an easy thing, power. And power corrupts. But I think a lot of it depends on why you\'re taking the power, you know, the mindset from which you take the mantle.

I\'m not an expert, and I\'m probably not one to talk here. But I\'d imagine that a good mindset would be that of a servant. Not the mindset of gaining power, not even gaining power to change things for good. I\'m pretty sure that it should be the idea of being a servant, of...well you get the idea.

I do that all the time. I usually don\'t log in unless I see something I think I should lock (and I usually don\'t comment when I do), or have something to say. But I do usually check the board more regularly than what the board would have you believe.



Since Break has already told her story of how she knows Doc(I remember her from the Capcom BBS as well, though we never really spoke then).

Doc and I have known each other since 2000 I believe. We were both posters on the Capcom BBS. A group of us from the board would have a chat saturday nights on another member\'s(Porobot, though most of you probably won\'t know who he is) chatroom. We eventually moved to the chatroom at Doc\'s site because of a problem with someone who entered the chat(I think his name was psaturn?). I had been a member at Doc\'s previous message boards, and was once again at this board after the big crash. When the board became more popular, the need for moderators developed and Break and Yumi. K were appointed. After Yumi left Doc was looking to fill the now vacant position. I applied and here I am today.

Doc\'s a great guy, but unfortunately I have to say that I haven\'t been the most reliable friend. I still have some things I\'m supposed to do(the Megabomber stuff unless that got cancelled and some checking on someone\'s translations.. .. ) Still I try to do what I can here!

Yeah right. Necro and Break are really evil. :rolleyes: Only a n00b who doesn\'t follow rules and thinks it\'s above them would think that. You\'re not such a friendly person yourself, at all, you know. Our mods (and admin) are some of the nicest people you\'ll find moderating messageboards. If you get them to be mean towards you in the slightest, there\'s something wrong with your attitude and it\'s your fault entirely.

As for \"omg all the spam\"...have you all been to Neopets? If you want to see spam, you should go to their boards. THAT is spam. The few morons we have here don\'t add up to nothin\' in comparison.

If you know ribitta in real life you would find he is one of the nicest people I know and he is nice on this bord but not the nicest he could be but none the less he is still nice.

Apparently, we have a board adviser named Kujacker, but that was before my time.
Also, you\'ll see Kalinka has that staff status, but... I\'ve never seen her do anything but an occasional joke post...

I\'d be a mod if asked, maybe.

Isnt ther more mods than that?
