Painter and Writer Branwell Brontë died standing up, leaning against the Mantel to prove it could be done.

I can\'t find anything to verify it, but I remember hearing this from a very reliable source and I\'ve loved it as a random fact ever since.

Baby three toed sloths are so inept, they are known to often grab their own arms or legs in place of branches, and fall to the ground due to being completly unsupported.

That with the exeption of \"Shawn of the Dead\" You never really see zombies in wheelchairs?

That Grand Daddy Long Leg Spiders CAN bite humans!? Humans aren\'t affected by the poison they secrete! Oh... and if you think I\'m wrong for any reason, consider the following: I used to catch these spiders when I was younger. One day shortley after catching one, it crouched down on my hand and I felt a stinging sensation where the spider just was. I didn\'t die, as the myth says, because I\'m here right now aren\'t I?

Not only that, but the Myth Busters de-bunked it as well:D

This says they\'re spiders, but that picture doesn\'t look like what I normally see as a daddy long-legs... The article also says that some species of daddy long-legs invade the webs of other spiders, and vibrate the web to imitate prey. When the web owner runs over, the long-legs eats it.

Hmm, maybe a different species of Long-Legs...

I know we have some here in Texas, and they have NO ABDOMENS.

Also, I heard Daddy Longlegs has potentially more powerful venom than the Black Widow, the only problem is their fangs aren\'t strong or long enough to even puncture one layer of human skin. Xp So we\'re pretty much safe unless we squish them into an open wound or eat them...

They debunked that on mythbusters. A daddy long-leg DOES have fangs powerful enough to bite... you just barely feel it, and they are hesitant to attack. Also, the venom is totally harmless to human beings. Scientists actually tested the effects of black widow venom and long-legs venom on mice... the long-legs mice showed absolutely no adverse reaction. The black widow mice died.

They are poisonous. But their fangs can\'t penitrate human skin. They can only bite new borns. Which the baby will die seeing as how deadly the poison is and how small a new born is. But it\'s rare and I\'m sure there are exceptions. There always is and exception.
