I\'m sorry Doc, you do have a point though. But, that easily? I don\'t mean to question you Doc, but I don\'t see why they would be banned that easily, as you say. It\'s sort of hard for me to explain, but I\'ll try my best.
Even if I SPAMed a lot, would you say I did it as much as they did? And easily? These two have been around a long time, and have been spaming for a long time. I wouldn\'t call it easily. You\'ve obviesly had your patience and didn\'t ban them. No offence to them, but they have been so annoying that I don\'t dont see why you didn\'t ban them earlier, as they have been around for a while and have been spaming for a while. It would be easy, but it\'s not as if they joined a week ago and have been spaming since then. If I did SPAM so much in the past, then I wouldn\'t be suprised if you banned me. I didn\'t understand how you couldn\'t SPAM then, but I did gradually learn. If I had SPAMed as much as those two did, then yes, you should have banned me.

I\'ve always had patience with the new guys. This isn\'t to say I accept them no matter what they do, just that I give a few more chances than the average person. Though, I know a constant menace when I spot one.
Lately, my patience is lost on the veteran members, and even a few of the staff. It\'s one thing to have been around a long time and know better, but to use it as an excuse to be RUDE to the new guys is just... stupid.

I never use my \"veteran\" tag and hold it over others heads. I know Sage has at least once before, and possibly Mega X. I find that foolish to do but I\'m not going to dictate what they can and can\'t do.
You know what I hold over others heads?
The fact that I respect others. When fools like Spider and company come in here and trash the place, I am ashamed of them, because they show no respect to this board and its members.
And therefore I show no respect to them.

I am never going to show respect to someone that outright refuses to show my friends any respect whatsoever.

On the other hand, though, it seems all too often that I see the \"veteran\" members disrespecting each other. That really needs to stop -and please don\'t ask me to name names or instances- I have a terrible memory.

I FOUND THE PROBLEM!
Settle down everybody, he didn\'t mean Admins, Mods, or Vets, he meant STARS. It is easy to get the stars mixed up with the Vets, because with all the spam, we have people who have been here for a month or two and have all five stars.
Really, it could have been anybody. Ribitta has 1015 post and has only been here since 5/26/05. (I\'m not saying you did anything wrong Ribitta)
By comparison, I have 830 and have been here since 2/11/03. Five stars isn\'t a matter of maturity.

So the average person has five stars, a mod has six (I could be wrong), a super mod has seven and an admin has eight?

Bluesilver\'s right. The stars mean nothing but the amount of posts you\'ve made and also adds decoration. And also Ribitta I think Break has seven stars, but i\'ll check because Necro is a Super MOd and has seven stars.

Technically, then, \"she\" is an admin, not a mod.
I don\'t class test users as actual moderators, mainly because they\'re not exactly doing an awful lot of moderating.

She\'s a test Mod, she won\'t do anything. Doc sometimes goes on it to play with us though. Kujacker also had 6 stars though, because she was a Board Adviser.

It\'s funny when people complain about Doc banning people. For pie\'s sake, Doc is the most lenient admin I have ever seen, nix the admins that don\'t care about their forums of course and let people run wild.
If you get banned at Docs, then you REALLY did something wrong, and you probably should wait a few years before you go to any other board.
