I can\'t take complete credit for the topic- my fiance said that he started it once on another board a long time ago, and it went well. I thought it sounded like a good idea. So what\'s your most memorable gaming moments? It could be funny, earth-shattering, epic, long-awaited... anything that you really remember for any reason.

For me? Well, maybe it\'s \'cause it was yesterday, but finally beating the Omega Pirate on Metroid Prime- eleven tries!

And there was this one time on Mario 2 when I got a sprout permanently stuck on my head...

And then there was the end of the good ol\' practically unknown Rockin\' Kats for NES. Why is that memorable? It\'s the first game I ever beat!

This topic is not about game systems- I don\'t care what system it\'s from. And please, no flamewars about what sucks and what doesn\'t. If you find it memorable, post it. Aeris\' death on Final Fantasy VII? The end of Chrono Trigger, when Chrono finally talks? Halo blowing up? Go ahead and talk about it. ^^

Ummm...when I beat sonic the hedghog2 and sonic went super.it was cool.

Me and Arix where playing a game called Gotcha Force... he still gets a bit upset when I tell this story.:lol:

To make a long story short, we both are playing as characters that are basically missiles. They are meant as one shot characters that kill your opponents character in a big ass KERBANG!! Only thing was that we where both playing as missiles and nothing else...

So we both run into each other head on, expecting a tied game...

PLAYER 2 WINS!!!
I laughed for an hour strait.
He cried and swore for about five minutes, and then laughed for about an hour strait.

One of mine was in Command Mission... just in case someone here hasn\'t beaten it, yet...

I\'m pretty sure Pokemon Red was the first game I ever completed. Yeah, I remember that game so vividly...Ahh.

I still remember the day Dad came home with the Sega Genesis and Sonic the Hedgehog in a big ol\' brown bag. That\'s what got me started, really.

Other moments include-

-First using the Missingno cheat on Pokemon Red
-Defeating the ENTIRE Elite Four with a pissed off level 70 Charizard, taking out Gary\'s Blastoise with Struggle
-Playing Chrono Trigger (which is another story in itself)
-Watching Aeris from FFVII and Iris from X4 die (yeah, those things get to me...)

Yeah, that\'s it for the moment.

Let me see...

- Certainly the part in Tales of Symphonia were you get to see those anime \'movies\'. Gorgeous, really.
- Beating my best friend at I fighting game (quite suck at those) I never played before by 2-1 for me. Soul Calibur 2. GameCube edition. And 2 times of three rounds were like that. The second he took Ivy...
- First time beating the Elite Four in Pokémon Gold. First time I ever beat them in any Pokémon game.
- Beating Duo in MMBN4:RS for the first time. I was totally sweating of excitement!

When I defeated my big cousin over 100 times in a row at Soul Calibur 2 for GC. We stopped around 1am and I had to go to work at 7am, but damn, it was hillarious. He always wanted one more round, and I kept owning him even though I was half asleep.

When I first played Armored Core...
When I first played Psychic Force...I loved that game...

My \"Just blasted a smoking AC corpse without lock while moving right after an Over Boost with a Sawa\" shot.

And the big one...Beating my friend on Episode III. He was using Vader; force lightning, force heal, strangle...the lot.
I was useing...Grievous...Frickin\' GRIEVOUS! This guys sucks completely! He can\'t heal, can\'t hold his opponent, has a crappy range attack...He. Is. Crap.

And I beat Vader using him! He will never live that down.

Oh yeah, playing Command Mission. First turn-based RPG I actually liked.

I would have to say that my most memorible moment is when I get the last boss down to 1 HP and then I die and its game over. This is repeated on every game I own.

The cup of WTF in Xenogears. I was like, \"Get on with it-- WHAT YOU DIDN\'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME!\"

Any time I died a stupid death in MGS. That\'s certainly too memorable to forget. (I\'ve drawn these to illustrate how bad it was. XP)

The awesomness that is Metal Gear Saga vol 1 dvd. (It came with a ton trailers-- MGS4, MGS3: Subsistence, and MGA^2) Like Windrider said, MGS4 trailer is awesome with how it was rendered on PS3. I could really see it so much clearly on the dvd than I could when I found the trailer online (video compression didn\'t show how it really rendered.)

Any time Frank or Joachim steals an object to use as a weapon. XD (Frank-- Shadow Hearts 3. Joachim-- Shadow Hearts 2.)

Geez... I played this one game called \"S.L.A.I.\" a while back. I had never even heard of the game before, so I was expecting some crummy, Armored Core ripoff... but that game has left some kinda lasting impression on me. Buying music to play in the cockpit of your mech? Count me in!

I remember when IAim fought me on a SCII arcade machine using Voldo when I was using Sophitia, who I\'m supposedly good with... he got a perfect WITHOUT USING THE JOYSTICK. I was really off.

Beating Super Castlevania IV for the first time

Winning first place online with Mario Kart DS when I was up against some guy called \"gameanime\" He had THREE FRICKEN\' STARS when I had none! I beat him by a pixel!:D

My first fight against Alma in Ninja Gaiden! She whooped me good!

Oh, and another game I remember well is Kung-Fu for the NES. That was one of my favorite games growing up! So much fun...

I really thought the Bonne Pirates were dead after the Fokkerwolf was shot down. Haha, silly, silly me. Of course they would survive an explosion when colliding into the ground after a fall from such a height in a cramped robot. Of course.:lol: You can\'t imagine how happy I was during the Bruno cutscene.

And wooh. Memorable? The Saul Kada Gustaff battle cutscene. Tron wuz all nekkid, and i wuz lik, dude, Heat, tihs is awsomez.:lol: Not because she was naked, mind you, it doesn\'t even show you. Just because it was such a charming cutscene.

Lufia 2 had a lot of memorable moments in it as well. The Sinistral castle was definitely one. One of my most memorable moments in the game was feeling like I\'d spent the entire day going down the Ancient Cave, then learning that there\'s actually a bottom floor to it that I hadn\'t reached during the whole time. And for that matter, not having a providence to get out when I was almost dead after at least 50 floors.

• When I was playing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban my friend had a hard time getting Ron to come over. She was Hermione and kept calling Ron over. No responce. She ran over to him to see him staring at the wall, randomly shooting it. She switched to Ron and moved him to where he had to be. She switched back over to Hermione and he ran back to the wall. XD

• Harry Potter, yet again, only it was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. So, my friend was Hermione and I was Ron. Whenever she is trying to do something as a team thing, I usually have to help her because Harry doesn\'t help her. But, whenever I need help, Harry comes to my aid. Harry also randomly shoots things and it takes him like 5 hours to come over to help us levitate a boulder.

• My friend and I were playing the classic Donkey Kong game where he captures Peach and throws barrels at you (on my Animal Crossing). So in the second level, we have this thing, once you get to the top of the ladder and the things are bouncing down, we do a power stance for good luck. It\'s so retarded.

• Two words. Circus Charlie. Old OLD game. The background repeats over and over with the same evil elephant staring at you.

• Once I took a picture of a Baulbasaur\'s rump on Pokemon Snap and Professor Oak responded \"What a happy face!\"

This is all I remember exept for some of the ones that are sort of complicated to understand or wouldn\'t make sense to some people.

One time I was sick at home, and really bored, so I got out my psx and tried playing Megaman X4. I beat it in one day X3 In Zero mode.

I guess that\'s memorable because that\'s when I fell in love with the series. =3 Earth-shattering! XD

-When I FINALLY beat my boyfriend at Super Smash Brothers Melee. I did a victory dance XD

- I totally pwned him in the Metroid Prime 2 player mode; he never beat me once =D

X4 got me hooked on Megaman. Two words: Magma Dragoon. He is, without a doubt, the best boss in the X series. I can\'t wait to fight him again in Maverick Hunter X4.

When I saw Yuna play the concert on the Thunder Plains. It was awsome!
