Yes, Yammark is male. Anyone who thinks differently has probably been playing too much Metroid.

Yammark is a male everyone sould know that infact if he (or she if you dont believe me) isint you can come and beat me up but remember i have the power of skealtons on my side.

Obviously you never beat him. Alia uses the word \"he\" in the description when you defeat Commander Yammark. He blinks quite often and has huge eyelashes that make him look like a girl reploid. I say he\'s a gay XD

Also, did you know Wily tends to use both female and male sexual organ respresentations in his final machine designs? In case you don\'t know, Wily created Zero to destroy Dr. Wily and Mega Man. It is unknown whether he succeeded but Zero had long hair and a breastplate, giving him a feminine appearance. If you ever meet Zero don\'t make that mistake or he will kick your ass, the way he kills things in X1*. Also, Zero is not a girl, in X4 he has a male voice. In the same game X himself does not sound like a girl but a little like Steve Urkel...but not nearly as bad as that one Sonic cartoon where Sonic actually WAS voice-acted by Steve Urkel. Luckily Capcom decided to make an ingame three year interval between X4 and X5 as an excuse to make X\'s voice bearable.

GaveSnake, do I have to scan my instruction manual? I have the PlayStation version. It\'s American...but they talk Japanese. At least the text is English. Just think, three years and three weeks ago they spoke English, now they speak fluid Japanese.

Hello? We\'re talking about Commander Yammark.... some people did say \"I know someone who thinks Zero is a girl\" but that\'s all they said about Zero...when someone else said \"I think is a girl!!!\" they meant Commander Yammark. I\'m a diehard Mega Man fan. I already pieced together how the Mega Man X story works...like probably everyone else did. I beat all the X games except X4.

Well, I\'m not arguing with you, I\'m saying:
The moment I played my first X game I knew Zero was a guy, except I thought(at that time 5 years ago) his hair was a cape. I was wrong,(about the hair,duh).
When I saw Commander Yammark, I did not say \"Ooo look a girl boss.\" I said \"Geez, this guy looks like a girl.\"
Halfway through I stage I changed that too \"Is this boss a girl?\" I still had not totally decided anything. When I beat the boss Alia said \"he\" in the boss description so I knew. Capcom has a very very very strange way of designing bosses.

Yanmark\'s just got bishie eyes. They make him look very girly. But well, if you think about it, dragonflies have a feminine appearance..thin, delicate..blah blah. So maybe Capcom wanted to add that into their character.
