First of all a big hefty "wtf" to the Michael Jackson thing. I'm guessing you saw Click, but messed up on the delivery of an otherwise unfunny joke?

Secondly, to touch upon a two things....

-Young Link will be removed and substituted by Link's Wind Waker variation.

-Sakurai-san has stated that many of the clones will be removed, except for a select few which will be remodified and made independent.

So chances are characters like Pichu will cease to exist. But Ganondorf has potential and he's a primary character in Zelda, so my guess is he'll stay.

Noooo, get rid of Ganondorf! Man he really stunk...... I hope they get rid of Mr. Game and Watch also, he was pretty bad too.

I heard Game and Watch is getting axed.

I agree, they should get rid of the 'clones'. They really sucked; made the game seem like it had less characters.

And yeah, I heard Game 'n Watch is getting the 2D, beeping boot.

But as for new characters?

I'd really like to see MissingNo. That'd be freaking AWESOME. They could have him in his ghost form, and then his super smash would be him in his super glitchy form and he would kill everyone yay.

i just read some new speculations

some parts from stages/arena´s can be burned, blasted or crushed, something like those things in the Binstar level in SSBM, i don´t know more of it

you should be able to customize the characters, design your own clothes and change attack to fit your style, high speed, or pure power

and next to Wario, Waluigi would be playable

note that these are NOT confirmed.

and true about those ´clones´. it makes the game look cheaper, if you ask me.

Honestly I really hope you can customize the colors a bit more. Maybe add some flair other than the 6 preset colors or so that you used to get. They could just make it so it saves your favorite color to your player profile and loads it like that everytime...

And GOD please no Clones. Ever. Pl0x?

Honestly, Ganandorf had a lot of clone moves from Captain Falcon's set, just slowed down a ton and powered up a bit, right? There's a few different attacks, but all of the B attacks are basically the same style. He's as much of a clone character with Captain Falcon as Marth is to Roy, I think. But not quite as much from Mario to Dr. Mario.

I'll miss Dr. Mario, actually, but hey, we've got Wario now! That should be fun.

1. Nope, explosives are always a must for me.
2. Seeing as how Snake usually uses handguns, the nice people at Nintendo say that instead he'll be using explosives, and lots of them.

Hope that clears some stuff up.

Okay, Captain Falcon needs the axe, not Ganondorf.

Also, I want both Roy and Marth to stay.

I'd rather Marth stay, we don't need Roy. Captain Falcon we don't need either, but I would like seeing someone from F-Zero. Zoda maybe? Black Shadow? Bio Rex would be awesome..

The traditional 8 default characters from the first one will definetly remain.

From Melee, they'll most likely keep Ness, Cpt. Falcon, Zelda/Sheik, Bowser, and Peach. Migth be soem I've forgotten...but there's probably a good explaination for that.

Oh, leave him. The Ice Climbers were NOT totally awful. And they were especially great with Home-Runs. Also, their game is an awesome classic. Buy it.

The Ice-Climbers wherer hardcore in fights that had High Items turned on. Beam Sword and Fan locks anything and anybody really and does stupid damage.

And if your really good you can get 2 Infinite Super Scopes... now that's unfair.

Man, I hope the customizing thing is true, that'd be awsome. That was always something I believe to many games lack. I agree on keeping Marth, he's my second best character, and two of my friend's first. I could care less about Roy... As for the Ice Climbers...if left unchanged....the axe. Me and my friends had an all computer battle of all our least favorite characters on level nine. Ice Climbers lost....miserably. And there WERE items, lots of items.

Well, that's because Computer + Items = Retarted.

Give a good human player duel item options with Ice Climbers and you can do some serious damage... I'm not defending them, they are still junk though.

Computer with Items is indeed retarded. Myself, I think that, even though I could still win fairly easily from my siblings and most friends without items, I will have a far greater chance of doing so WITH them.

So, yeah, they should keep the Ice Climbers, though perhaps changed a little.

About the ice climbers, if already said, meh, they are being fired. I didn't mind them, nor was I them though. Either way I don't really care, but Captin Falcon can stay, I liked being him every know and again. Ganaondorf can use some moves from OoT, such as his Dark Ball attack and pounding the ground one. That'd be fun to do, and a good edition to the game. Also, Nintendo could have Gannondorf have a transform move like Zelda/Sheik, into Gannon. My friends and I have agreed it wouldn't be a bad idea, and an interesting one.

i'd like to announce that Hideo Kojima himself (and a few other staff members) will be designing and creating Solid Snake's arena.

Not only a great character but also a great developer will be participating in this game, (or he's just in it for the money )

Will it be based on Shadow Moses or more something like the Big Shell, or from the upcoming game, Guns of the Patriots?
