ROM Hacking is the thing. Emulators talk is fine too I guess, but no talk about ROMs / ROM Sites.

Inactivevery few sites have been taken off the net that do more then mention. I know a site that provides dozens of genre specific roms. The site doesnt have any legal stuff it doesnt make you say you have the rom or anything. there are dozens of sites that are dedicated to finding roms and isos for you. we have probably mentioned rom a dozen times in this thread so waht the previous poster said is invalid. that site I was talking about with genre specific roms I think it has been up for a couple of years. I have even seen roms beeing sold in diskets on ebay. The man doesnt do a very good job of watching and catches so few.

ROMs are illegal unless you own the original game cartridge. An ISO is like a ROM except its a copy of a CD game, not a cartridge.
Some sites say ROMs are legal for 24 hours. There\'s no such rule-ROMs are illegal period.

Though, yes, I have heard all about ROMs. I don\'t get the fact that they expect you to have the game cartridge. What if some guy downloaded a bunch of ROMs that he didn\'t own the game cartridge for? It\'s not like he\'s going to get yelled at for it. There is no way they can catch everyone. I\'m only making a point. A very sharp point.
