BannedLet me tell you something, Megaman is the English version and it sells in American state, Rockman is the japan version and i sells in the japan country. Some one said that one of them is more popular than the other.
What do you think is more popular?

Mega Man sounds better but I think it's doing better in Japan.

Rockman has the advantage in the fact that he can get away with having a girly voice.

I think Megaman is more popular, well the newer games.. Seems the japanese are enjoying retro games alot right now.
Think of it this way, they only use Rockman as his name in pretty much just China, Korea, Japan, and maybe 2 or 3 others. Megaman has the the Americas, Europe, Some of Asia, Australia, Africa, and from what i've heard Antartica...

Technically, Rockman and Megaman have the same popularity. Comparing Megaman and Rockman is like comparing:

While one may sound better.. the only difference is in the title.. in otherwords.. Rockman and Megaman are THE SAME THING.

They fight each other for two issues, then realize they both share a common enemy and fight said common enemy for two more issues. They fight again in the seven-part epic crossover story arc "Who Shot Dust Man?" but even then it's undecided.
