So I recently bought a shirt, but the shirt came with some unwanted printed marks.

Does anyone know how to get them off? (Obviously, without severely damaging my shirt in the process, for you smart-alecks out there.)

do you mean when they have that slightly lifted up print on it that after a while starts to peel off? like it had something on it but you want it to be a plain w/e colour shirt? i would like to know that to because i have some purple and light blue shirt but with like sports stuff on them, and god knows i don't have any clue about sports

Venton, using gays as an insult makes you look like an idiot, just a heads up.

Also..unwanted marks? You mean..stains or a Champion logo in the corner?

I think he means that he ordered a hand-made shirt from some website, an that th way the guy manufactured it was lame, ergo unsightly "printer" marks were left on it. Just a hunch.

No, actually, there's a certain portion of text/design that I don't like and I'd like to remove.

It's a typical customink shirt, with that textured "glue"/"patch" stuff for printing. The only possibility I can see so far is getting it to crack and peel off, which would take a while...

Well, I know that nail polish remover (or pure acetone) will get rid of the color/ink. I'm not sure about the label part, though..

You know, people always say nail polish will remove the color from something, as if it's bleach.

But I have NEVER known it to do that unless it's like a brand-new shirt where some of the color would also be removed jsut by washing, and God knows I've spilled a lot of nail-polish remover.

And I never use non-acetone.

That actually presses it down according to my girlfriend...

You've got to scrub it, you know. Can't just spill it and have it magically disappear.

I was just sitting over here in my corner wondering what being gay has to do with knowledge of sports, or lack thereof. o.x

True it presses it down, but the wet heat loosens it, so you can easily peel most of it off.

In other words I think he's saying make sure you use the water spray if you want it to work.

Well, everyone who's said something to me always acts as if that's how it's supposed to work. For instance, my stepmother, aunt, biological mother and grandma all made a big deal over me using nail polish remover while on the carpet, in case it spilled.

This especially made no sense to me when the carpet was light-colored (light tan) in the first place.

Uh, no, it wasn't funny to begin with. Stop talking about this topic, make your own thread if you're so offended that we don't appreciate your jokes about yourself.
Yeah, nail polish isn't that great for getting stuff off. Instead, try the ironing thing.
