I figured it was Ronin Warriors to begin with, but I didn't see the specific red armor so I couldn't clarify it was.

That's too bad. Robotech was a good show. Ronin Warriors was butchered more than Robotech was. So, I don't know why anyone would like it unless they saw the uncut version in the first place. (That includes the 2003 Astro Boy, but it didn't help that even the uncut version was a piece of junk.)

I remember when Toonami started out. Wow. ^^; Remember when Moltar, then Tom v.1, hosted the lineup. They had more of Sarah in the Tom v.1 time than now. She looked really cool. I guess she got replaced by those little robots (they look cute, but... I want Sarah back!).

Break, watch the toonami intro again, Sarah says a phrase to Tom and you can see her new look. My favorite tom was 2.0 though, The current one just looks like a failed attempt at coolness and the original was a tad bit kiddish, 2.0 is a perfect blend of the 2. New Absolution exterior is kinda cool though.

Break-- Ronin Warriors wasn't butchered at all. The dub was silly yes, but there were NO scenes removed at all. =P

I can verify this as seeing how I only watch the Japanese version (Samurai Troopers) on the dvds because it has subtitles and the Ronin Warriors side doesn't >.<

If there was any butchered version, it was when it aired on Sci-Fi channel. Stupid Sci-Fi channel loved their commericals more than the shows so Ronin Warriors really got chopped up when it was aired on Sci-Fi. (The first airing was on Fox in 1995. Sci-Fi was 97. Cartoon Network was 2000ish.)

I believe the Cartoon Network version was the same as Fox version, no scene removed. They barely even showed Lady Kayura naked in the Japanese version. :P

...I'm still a Ronin Warriors fan even though I haven't watched the show in a long time. Shoot me. PLEASE. ;_;

Toonami was my lifew from ages 7-11. It was the best...I really only watched it for Gundam and DBZ though. It was good, and I liked it. I think back and wonder what happened? Now they have anime's I have no interest in...it's like a couple hours of a bad japanesse tv channel now.

I Faintly remember all those shows! Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing, and DBZ were my favorite shows. Kenshin came a little later but it was a must watch for me. I must have been 8 or 9 back then. I think the Midnight Run Special Edition was when Gorillaz started to go big! Oh good times...

I remember the old toonami with the helmet guy(forgot name) and he was smaller than todays and chubbier. But they made him die. That was around or after the thundercats show(watched only when bored). Anybody remember the chubby midget helmet guy? I miss him.

His name is Tom. Had you thoroughly read the entire thread, you'd know that others remember Tom quite a bit.

lol Miguzi is like the new Toonami. But yea, I remember watching Thundercats, I loved Robotec up till my favorite character died....I was 5 and you know how 5 year olds are. I also remember seeing .hack//SIGN for the first time on Toonami at my grandmothers. I loooooved Tenchi Muyo XD very funny show. Then there was the original Gundom show called "Gundom Wing" At least I think that was the original. Well it was the first Gundom I've ever seen. Before I started watching Toonami I watched "Made In Japan" on Fox Family, I saw the original MegaMan show there and some other shows...dont remember most of the shows on "Made In Japan" besides MegaMan.

In memory of .hack//Chat I say one last time: "Let's meet again sometime, in that place we love to go. The Root town of Mac Anu!"
.... .hack//kyat....we miss you dearly

Haha, toonami was awesome. Bro and I use to watch it everyday from the time we got home to the time it ended, I believe when I watched it the original line up went on to be

Ronin Warriors.
Voltron
Reboot
DBZ
Tenchi
and then it switched it around with thundercats and what not.

I liked the night-time ones too, the semi-anime.

Ah...Reboot was so totally awesome.

When Gundam came out it was the best thing since sliced bread for me . I did not miss an episode and I bought the toys XP!

Reboot... haven't been reminded of that show in, like, 5 years!

I've watched 2 episodes of Gundam, and I argue that the Gundam toys are some of te most awesome action figures you can find!

I'm one of the ones who would just watc DBZ. I was NOT a Thundercats fan at all, and the other shows just didn't appeal to me at all.

I still wish Tom didn't die either...
