I completely forgot about this movie until I heard about it on tv a few hours ago.

From what I heard, the story is based on the very first 007 novel, and in order to feel a bit modern, they added the whole terrorist funding thing. There won't be that many gadgets, but the Aston Martin is still there and is supposed to do a barrel roll.

I'm most likely gonna see it when it comes out. Anybody else going to do the same?

I assume I'm the biggest Bond fan here.

...I like Bond so much I already like Daniel Craig.

I hated Brosnan though, oldschool Bond FTW. Which is why I like Mr Craig, seems to be Bond from the books..and not the awful mockery that Moore and Brosnan did.
(Don't get me wrong, I like Roger Moore as a person and actor definitely, but a good majority of his movies were pretty bad. Especially Moonraker.. Again though that wasn't his fault. There are a few Connery ones I dislike greatly as well.)

I thought Brosnan was OK as an actor, but then again I never did read any of the books. Other than his last one, I've only ever seen the Sean Connery ones. (Goldfinger, FTW)

Meh, nothing else other than "The Prestige" even close to worth seeing. I've been watching the old ones, dang, I forgot how bad Sean Connery's acting was back then... Also, for some reason the only ones I seem to be watching anymore are "The World is Not Enough" and "Diamonds Are Forever" occasional, "You'll Only live Twice" mixed in...I watched "Tomorrow Never Dies" last night though.

Also another sidenote..the only true British actor that played Bond, was Roger Moore. So yeah what I'm trying to say is, shut up.

I will not see the new 'Bond' movie at all. I think the new 007 is a mockery of all that Connery stood for!

Yes, I like the previous Bond! He was awesome, and I don't care what Hollow, or any of you all think. =)

The new 'Bond' is afraid of guns, and that frankly disappoints me greatly. Not only that, but from what i've seen of his acting ability.. it is very poor, and extremely limited.

Well I tryed to see it but it was sold out in like a half an hour. I ended up seeing Stranger Than Fiction. Oh poor me :P. I don’t recommend seeing it.

Fallen, Roger Moore was also afraid of guns since one exploded in his hand. I think that's a valid reason to be afraid of guns.

Ah, of course. You judge the acting of the movie and the portrayal of the character without seeing the movie.

You could try being fair and giving the movie a chance, but I suppose you're too busy being right to be sensible.

Saying that this Bond movie is a mockery of what Connery stood for is pretty damn stupid. Connery doesn't matter, only Ian Fleming matters since he's the one writing the books (thus, giving the story of most movies). And this new movie is based on the first book. So yeah, stop making an idiot out of yourself.

PS: Can't wait for Icebreaker to be made into a movie.

It's probably more like being afraid of shooting-- shooting a person or getting shot yourself. Having seen too many ER episodes, I am really scared of being shot myself. Urghghggh.

I think that someone that is afraid of guns shouldn't do a movie where all that happens is people shoot other people. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Acting is a job, you can't just not let your fears prevent you from doing your work or else you get laughed out.
