Laughing at a guy who has a fear of guns just proves you're a dick. But as an actor myself, acting can be a powerful tool to help ease one's fear.

Well, from the little I've heard of the Bond character from the books, Daniel Craig seems to be truer to the character.
Secondly--though this may have to do with the style of the movie rather than the acting--Bond was actually a human in this movie. No more of the physical/mental superiority over every living creature on the planet. Oh yeah, that always bugged me when Connery-Bond calculated in his head how many trucks it takes to transport all the gold in Fort Knox, and how long the gold would be radioactive after Goldfinger's bomb had exploded.
Lastly, much as I appreciated Sean Connery as Bond, I have to admit that he didn't really play Bond. Sean Connery practically played himself, I think.
Just go see the movie already, Hollow. You'll either love or hate him.

Yes, people worship Connery just because he was first. That's all.
Personally I enjoyed it in..Live and Let Die perhaps? Where Bond is shot in the leg and has to limp around, away from his pursuer. I do like it when he is represented as a human being, as you said..in the books. I never think of Bond as a superhero.
So I think I'll be on the "love" side.
No..that's not common sense. As I said..this thread is about discussing the movie. So not discussing it is indeed, pointless.
Either way, I phail.
But I still don't see the point of trying to disect the movie.
But above all, the best reason to support Daniel Craig is because the main anti-Craig site reads...
I heard some interesting things regarding what the current 'Bond' wants in the next movie, concerning a love scene with another man. So no, I fully do not support this movie, nor will I waste my money watching the filth.

How can you make a judgment on a movie without seeing it? It baffles me how anyone could be that silly.
I also didn't see Borat, just because it looked like a waste of time. Sure, it looked funny.. but the political implications were startling.
