I went to Target yesterday, unfaithful in my thoughts of getting one - they were probably all gone by then. Lo and behold, not only did they have four, THEY WERE ON CLEARANCE! So I bought 2, lucky me. Anyway, the contents are real cool. I haven't opened the packaging, but it's made so that you can see the Master Sword and Hylian Shield 1:6 scale replicas. I can't wait to get the soundtrack out either, although it only has six songs on it.

Overall it's a really cool collector's item. Thoughts?

Considering Teej uploaded the soundtrack already and I've listened to all of it, the only thing worth purchasing is the sword and shield replicas. My Target doesn't have any, and the ones online go for $60+. So no thank you.

I got it. I'm not opening mine though, I had to pay $45 bucks for mine on Ebay, and I'm keeping it sealed for collector's purposes.

Do the sword and shield come out of the box?

Yeah, they're 1/6th scale fully detailed metal replicas. However, you do have to cut the plastic in order to take them out.

If they were sharp enough i'd steal my neighbor's and run around on my dog slashing at things, fun fact, he bought Twighlight princess and he's wii-leses...

i do recall reading something about this, i don't think i will get one but it would still rock if i did.

1) They're most likely on clearance now, so they're at better prices.

2) @ Watcher: Do you mean the box plastic or the black backing? I tore apart the box plasic so I could thake the soundtrack and box out, but the black backing won't need to be cut.

Darn, I want one now. I don't live near any place that is remotely good for selling anything you need. (Walmart is here, but they don't count)

Soundtrack isn't pointless, and to some people, neither is a replica of Link's sword. Because, you know, that's what fans like. Trinkets.

I just got the game.

Funny, my neighbor got one but he's like a little kid and I saw him tear it up. The sword & Shield thingy's are in his backyard all messed up, but I'm not a Zelda fan so it's just funny to me.
