A few notes before I continue one with this post.
1. I am not asking people to agree with me.
2. I am not, under any circumstances, saying that Forte is Zero. A lot of people think this when I post this, and it is the complete opposite of being true. Now, for the post.

I\'ve been a fan of Megaman ever since the beginning, and I notice little things here and there. Now, I would just like to point this out.

In some ways, I\'ve noticed that Zero bears a striking resemcblance to Forte. Again, keep in mind that I\'m not saying he is Forte. Here\'s my idea. I believe that Zero is Forte\'s younger \"brother\", so to speak. As we all know by now (at least, we should) that Wily created Zero. Now, remember those yellow marks on Forte\'s Armor, the ones that go into little points? On some parts of his armor, Zero has the same things. Also, you know how Forte was Wily\'s recreation of Rock? And how he looked a lot cooler and more detailed than Rock? It appears to be much the same with Zero and X.

This has always been a little thought of mine, and I thought that I would share it with you guys.[/font]

Hmmm, interesting. Seeing Bass/Forte as Zero\'s older brother is sort of striking. Everyone has their own opinion to how Zero came into the picture. Some beleive that Megaman is Megaman X, in the same way people believe Forte/Bass is Zero. After all, Zero was originally evil. And let\'s not forget about Blues/Protoman. Maybe Zero was also created out of Protoman, and that\'s how Zero got his good side.But how would Wily get his hands on Protoman?Since Zero was created by Wily. Zero has died twice in the X Series, and has always been rebuilt. So its sort of hard to keep track of Zero\'s mysterious self. What was so good about Zero anyways? The use of his DNA in MMX6 and such. How come he became such an ascet to the X Series? And just take a look at him in Megaman Zero. He looks WAY different. How do you beleive he was made in to such a different robot? Well, I\'m not to sure where the MMX series is leading us, but it will eventually blow all of our minds once we find out about X and Zero. We can only wait and see what lies in the future of X and Zero. The future is coming...

Eh, I don\'t think Zero was based after Protoman. Anyone who\'s beaten Rockman the Power Battles 2 with Forte has seen that Wily shows Forte the plans for Zero. Evidence points towards Zero being based after Forte.

I still believe Protoman was the base for Zero, look at the colors and Wily also created Protoman too...

Dawnus, I agree... because I control Bass in a rpg and I usually have him yelling at his lil\' brother (Zero) a lot. I\'m trying to figure out how to throw Bass in one of my MMX fanfics because I feel that the two Wily bots need to bond as brothers!

(It\'s not fair for Rock to have a brother while Forte doesn\'t! :P)

Actually, it\'s Dr. Wily!

Dawnus knows alot, You know what your talking about, I to Have beatin Rockman and Forte, and learned a lot of stuff. I never suspected Protoman\'s real name to Be blues.

No doubt Zero (The red devil) was created by Wily. Protoman was created by Dr. Light with Wily as an assistent. The cartoon picked up on MM3 for Protoman sporting the bad guy image, but Blues is a controversial robot, he\'s more on his own terms than anyone else.

[font=Verdana]For one thing, Blues is not \"Protoman\'s real name\". If you think you know as much as you think you do, you\'re wrong. Blues is Protoman\'s Japanese name. Rockman and Forte is Japanese, so it wouldn\'t be using the English names. If you want the English names, you\'ll have to wait till February 18th, and get yourself Megaman and Bass.

Anyways, Wily helped Doctor Light make many robots, then stole them. But really, the fact that Wily had to steal robots or the designs for robots shows Light\'s genius. Forte is copied, Gospel is copied, King is copied, and Zero is copied. All from Light\'s designs.

Indeed, one can say Forte is Zero\'s older brother, as his design obviously had an influence on how Zero was designed. Forte and King were prototypes for Zero.

Quite technically, Zero was not originally evil. Wily created him to be that way, but androids are free thinkers. Like humans, they can just as easily be \"good\" as \"evil\". Similarly, robots cannot be evil or good, as they are not free thinkers.

Zero was not based on Forte\'s design, as Zero is an android. Zero is based on X\'s original designs, with influence from Forte and King.

Well, the Bass (ok, Forte) = Zero thing is stupid, but your theory of Forte is to Megaman as Zero is to X is fairly logical. I mean, both were created by Wily, so it would only be logical for both to have similarities in build.
