Okay, so I come home after a long day down at the theatre, and I do my usual thing. I unlock my room, put my jacket, keys, etc, in their places, then I eat, and then I get on the computer. I come here, and I see "Admin Panel" highlighted in red in the user options. Now, I stare at that a moment, and the first thought I had was: "Was I promoted and not told?" Then I remember it's April 1st, AKA April Fools Day So, knowing the Doc always does something for April 1st I decide to click it and see what kinda funny little thing will happen... I was temporarily banned! Now, that didn't seem too funny to me, so I have to ask...was it merely an April Fools joke, or was it an error of some sort?

If you were on Epsilon you'd realize it is a joke as only Dream didn't fall for it. Although '06 was still a better overall gag... But it was a lot of clean up if I recall too. Specifically, R.I.P. XMB board.

I came one and remembered last years and wondered if Doc was out of ideas. Apparently the joke was on me in retrospect, I should have noticed that I was logging in quite late and the board was still intact, but meh.

Doc had a backup anyway so there wasn't any cleanup, Doc had already planned on dumping the (much prettier IMO) XMB interface for one that doesn't even have "Preview post" :P.

The worst thing was that chance thought for a few fleeting seconds that you had actually been promoted to an administrator. XD

... Not that I really have any reason to want to be one. >_>;

But we can all relate to that feeling that rose up when you saw the button, right? It was like, "Hey, I should be dropping by the board more often!" only to realize that you couldn't even check it for 24 hours following. XD

Hush. The next board update will happen within a few weeks, with some layout updates and a preview option for posts and private messages. IOBoard gives me several opportunities for additions, too, that XMB simply couldn't provide.
