Most of the original Transformer fans have grown up, so this isn't a problem.

Neither do Disney and PG-13. >__> Of course no movie of theirs has ever been in PG-13 format.

*cough* All three, and Haunted Mansion, and soon to be Prince of Persia.

And Kingdom Hearts 2 was going to be rated T except Disney layed out the dough to ESRB. >___>

Point being that it's the same movie, your old enough to watch it, chill.

The movie is aimed at the old school fans. So of course they're gonna try to make it more mature than the silly G1 cartoon (yes, I said "silly G1 cartoon" go watch that show again and tell me with a straight face it wasn't silly).

Seriously, trying to make a rated PG Transformers movie would've been the worse move the producers could've made. Although, some of the designs for that movie are pretty damn bad.

First off, your grammar hurts my eyes. Books are friendly, unless by some freak coincidence they attacked and killed your parents.

Second off, have you SEEN the G1 movie? Holy crap. They swear a fair bit, and to be honest, eating people alive isn't necessarily PG. Not to mention on the junk planet there was a lot of gibberish that would make kids laugh, but it was aimed at an older generation. So yes, I can believe that the Transformers movie is PG-13...the question you should be asking is why Freakazoid was only rated Y7 instead of something more appropriate. THAT is the fine question.

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Original Movie was pretty violent when i was watching as a kid, at the age of what. four?
I'm more or less apalled at what they did to Starscream and Megatron.
Ironhide looks better in his new incarnation, IMO.
Anyway, off to save money to buy the new toys~

No, even better: Buy out an entire theater's worth of tickets. I mean, the entire showing. Then, when people ask you why you did it, show them the collection of Transformers action figures you plan to put in all the seats. They deserve to watch the movie after being played with for so long.
