In photoshop, I always have my settings to 64 by 64 when making avatars, and whipped up something quick. I went to upload it, and said the image was too big, when I doubled, and then triple checked the image size, which was still 64 by 64.
That was a bug from the recent update. Try it now: it should be back in order.

I can't change my avatar!! I went to edit my profile and I went to avatar options, searched for a new avatar, clicked on it and uploaded it, but it didnt do anything!! And the file size is 13.4 KB and type GIF!!! Somebody help!!

Yes it changed, but you didn't see the difference. When that happens, try either flushing your browser cache memory, or simply restart the whole browser. By the time of your next visit here, you'll see that all is fine.
