So, with what enhancement combination would you like to play an X game with? State the ability and a brief
description stating why you chose it.

Here's my Customized X:

Head Part: Hermes Armor (X8): Charge Shots faster
Body Part: Max Armor + Chip (X3) : 75% Damage reduction + additional Shield that adds more defense = 90%(??) Damage reduction.
Arm Part: Giga Armor (X2) : Double Shot
Leg Part: Blade Armor (X6) : Mach Dash

I really like the Double Shot in X2 from Giga Armor's Arm Upgrade. It's effective against bosses when both shots are released at the same time, it works well against any normal enemy, and the second shot can be spared and fired at an opportune moment.

The Hermes Helmet would charge this Double Shot up even faster.

The Gaea Armor's Body Upgrade has the best defense around.

Finally, the Max Armor's Leg Upgrade offers the best balance of tactical and battle mobility.

BTW, if anyone has a complete list of the individual Armor descriptions for Falcon Armor, Gaea Armor, Shadow Armor and Blade Armor, please post it, and I'll paste it to this first post, since the link above (or any any other Mega Man resource that I've been to) doesn't give their descriptions.

My custom X:

Head Part: Hermes Armor (X8): Increased charge speed.
Body Part: Max Armor w/chip (X3): Long-lasting defense shield, damage reduced by 3/4.
Arm Part: Giga Armor (X2): Double Charge Shot.
Leg Part: Blade Armor (X6): Dash in any direction.

The Double Charge Shot is possibly the most useful charge shot, including the Plasma Shot, of any X game.

The Hermes helmet allows for faster charge speed, which equals more destructive power.

The Max Armor with the enhancement chip reduces the damage as well as the Gaea Armor, as well as the extra shielding to prevent further damage after getting struck.

And the Blade Armor legs offers increased mobility.

... that's gotta be one goofy-looking Armor Set.

Hmmm...I forgot about the Mach Dash from the Blade Armor. Is that what the Boots provide? Maybe I'll do a little switch-a-roo above.

I guess it would be considered cheating if the Beam Saber from X3 was thrown into the lot... :hehe:

Otherwise, that would make a nice finisher for the Double Shot.

Yes indeed. I'm still contemplating between the Gaea Armor's Armor and the Max Armor's Armor + Chip enhancement. It kind of seemed like Gaea Armor had better defense then the Max Armor, even with the Chip Enhancement.

Maybe it just seems that way because a lot of the enemies and bosses were overpowered in MMX3,in spite of the armor enhancement.

All in all, I guess Gaea Armor and Max Armor offer equal defense...plus I'm sure that the Gaea Armor's armor has the Giga Crash ability in it, I think, even though it's relatively useless.


Since this is an ANY Enhancement Combination, how about a Gaea Armor with the Max Armor's body part's Chip Enhancement?
