We had a funny conversation on a IRC chat about that...but anyway,
In 2004, Fox 2000 Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Bagdasarian Productions announced a live-action/CGI adaptation of the original 1960's series, though no information has been released since the project was announced. It is unknown if production has stalled due to complications arising from the aforementioned contractual debacle, but as of yet it has not been officially cancelled. The project is now in pre-production.
Leave me alone, in a corner of a room, with what's left of my untouched childhood cartoons... ^^;;;
If the boys look that bad, I don't want to know how the Chipettes look...! ^^;;;

Sad. The idea of Jason Lee as David Seville doesn't seem too bad but the Chipmunks..
